Shaun: "Went out to talk to the three-tailed Vulpix."

Ace: <Suit yourself. It is wonderful, though.>

Celena::{You can't understand me. I'm not suprised.}

-She gestures at her mouth, then Matvey's, and shakes her head.-

Akala Beach [Past]

Phaz: "Hehe~... I wonder how'd you do in a tank, really. They're sorta weird to control..."

Pokéstudios

Ashley: "Gaaaah. Don't want that on me."

She throws the guitar at one of the blobs then take the mayonnaise jar and the horse radish.

Ashley: "...Wait. Why is this here...?"

Aaron: <There's a joke somewhere. Don't make it.>

The condiments are perfectly preserved, and then suddenly melt into ink. The blots continue to try and attack until the Organ Torccata finishes, in which they disappear.

In the animation archives there are numerous reels labelled about countless cartoons. One of them is open and says "Spectacular Singing Swing".

The door makes a click, first lock gone. Just another to go.

Seafolk Village

-Jackie gulps-

Jackie: Like [FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST]?

Jean: Like what now?

Jackie: It's an anime about alchemist-wizard-people.

Jean: ...What's an anime?

-Someone seems to be wandering around the village — a 6ft-even, black-haired man in a blue coat, with a Gabite by his side.-

Man: You know, I really should have picked up a map while we were back in the city...

Gabite: <That's on you, pal.>

-He looks around, hoping to find someone who has their bearings a bit straighter. Or someone with an extra map, whichever comes first.-

Amélie: "Gaaah!"

She throws the condiment away but it's too late: her hands are inked.

"Urgh! I did not want this! I want a refund for the tour I didn't pay..."

Aaron: <Oh hey it unlocked let's go.>

He and Amélie goes out to the hall

-Someone else is looking around here, in very over-the-top dark clothing and accompanied by a Carbink-

Goth: Apparently there's a powerful Fairy-type that lives near here!

Carbink: <Does it have a good asthetic, though?>

Tapu Village

-The man pauses hearing the goth talking. He and his Gabite share a look.-

Gabite: <...>

Man: ...

Gabite: <...No. We're not— >

-The man, unable to understand the Gabite, turns and approaches the goth

Gabite: <Hey, get back here! We're not going to have anything to do with fairies, lead or no lead!>

Man: Ahem, excuse me, what's this about a powerful Fairy-type?

Tapu Village

Goth: Oh! It's called Tapu Bulu! Apparently it's really strong but also kinda lazy.

-The Carbink meeps at the sight of a Gabite and hides behind his Trainer-

Tapu Village

-The man frowns-

Man: I see... I'd heard Tapu Bulu went missing for a while, do you know if it's returned or not?

-The Gabite glares at the Carbink.-

Gabite: <What are you so scared of?>

Tapu Village

Goth: It's gone missing? I just heard it lived around here...

Carbink: <Your kind hoards mine!>

Tapu Village

Gabite: <What? No. Don't be absurd. Carbink haven't even been seen in Sinnoh.>

Man: Admittedly I don't know much either, I've just heard it hasn't been seen in a while, for one reason or another.

-He coughs awkwardly-

Man: Ahem, sorry, anyway, introductions. I'm Mason. The Gabite's Mako. You are?

Carbink: <Oh, really? Never mind then.>

Goth: Nice to meet you! I'm Gabe the Goff Goth, and my Carbink's Facet!

Mako: <Yeah, relax. I don't know what Gabite are like here, but I lived in Snowpoint. After years of snow, sparkly things are a sour point for me.>

Mason: Gabe, huh? Nice to meet you as well. Er, do you know if there's anywhere around here I'd be able to stay for a few days? I do want to find out more about Tapu Bulu's disappearance if I can.

Looking at the two 'mons with varying degrees of a smirk on their faces, Colton decided. There'd be no point in making a stink about it now when no stray UBs were around.

He pulled out his phone and inhaled to steel himself.

Colton turned to D.C. and Rei with a much bigger smirk than they both wore. Dejectedly, they returned.

Vast Poni Canyon

-Ever is wandering around, looking for alternate routes through the canyon, with Custard helping him out-

Custard: <I don't think there's another way through. You just have to—>

-she shudders-

Ever: Are you alright?

Custard: <I just had the weirdest feeling.>

Ever: That's a normal part of growing up.

Custard: <Uh, no, this was more like...dread, I guess?>

Ever: Well, there's overlap.

Custard: No, like, foreboding dread.

Ever: Hm. The phrase "Someone walking over your grave" comes to mind.

Muninn: <It would with you, wouldn't it?>

Ever: Hush. Help me climb this wall.

-Muninn clinging to Ever's left shoulder to act as a prosthetic, Ever begins scaling the side of the canyon. Custard looks concerned for a moment, and follows-

Akala, Beach - Past

Sergey shrugged with a smile

Sergey: "Heh, for you Darling, I'd manage~"

Sergey lookwed back

Sergey: "And even if not... my team certainly would, we got through everything until now, didn't we~?

Ula'ula - Past

Alyesha: "Huh, what happened then?"

Krasnaya shrugged

Krasnaya: <I will, trust me.>

She looked to the two again, unbeknownst to them blushing under her helmet

Krasnaya: <But... if you want you can fly again, it certainly looked good.>

Matvey seemed to understand that one, nodding, though seemingly not knowig if the lack of understanding was mutual, so he pointed towards himself, then the sky before smiling.

Human!Ammy: -peering over Colton's shoulder- Wait, you can really just ask him like that?

Facet: <Well then. You have a distinct asthetic then at least.>

Gabe: I can help you find them! And there's the local Pokemon Center you can stay at!

"If memory serves correctly," Colton recalled, looking at the not-really Volcarona, "I was the only one brave-slash-stupid enough to ask for his contact info directly.

"Now I just need to hope he's not in Do Not Disturb mode.

"Or forgot who I am. I think I might need to clarify that."

He rapidly tapped away on his phone.

-Jason is pacing-

Jason:Alright, if I hurry, I can make my next Trial...and then I need to pick one of my team to register as a Surfer on my Pager...and then...

-He's poked on the shoulder-

Senshi:<Uhm...Jase...?>

Jason:Huh?

-He turns, Sen points.-

-Off in the distance, there's a dust cloud-

-And there's...music?-

-Jason blinks-

Jason:...I'm...not gonna mess with that.

Senshi:<Jason, it's coming at us.> ._.

Jason:Wait wha-

-And just as suddenly, both man and Gardevoir are slammed into, flipped into the air, and subsequently cling to the speeding along...vehicle?-

-This may be noticed-

-Accompanied by a loud-

Mako: <...Pardon?>

Mason: Well, I suppose it would be cheaper than trying to find a hotel around here... all right then, thank you. I'll head there later, but for now—

-He is loudly interrupted by the sudden speeding vehicle out of nowhere-

Mason: ...Uh. Excuse me, but what the hell?

-Colton suddenly gets a text-

-Ammy's eyes sparkle-

Facet: <Well, it's- AGH>

Gabe: ...That was so cool!

Colton looked back over his shoulder, at Ammy.

"Why are you so excited? I'M the one this message concerns.

"Speaking of..." He paused, activating his Pager. "We've got about one minute until my ride shows up."

Elizabeth: "Fini, I don't think music has ever been this stressful."

-She moves to put the blaster back.-

Lyra: <I'd keep that out.>

Elizabeth: "...Yeah, good idea."

-She instead slips the blaster in her purse.-

Haku: ~Olivia? Oberon?~

Olivia: <Think I found something.>

Oberon: <The conclusion to the reel of film?>

Olivia: <Maybe.>

-They "hear" Haku.-

Olivia: ~We're fine. In this "Animation Archives" room.~

Shaun: "We talked to the little puffball. Found out why she was so shy and lonely. Then we convinced her to come with us."

Ace: <Oh? Enjoyed it, did you?>

Tsunami: <...>

Celena: {Oh, you wish you could fly? Or you can?}

-She nods.-
