"Wow you really have forgotten everything..." Silas remarked taking his phone.

The machine's switch displays "ON" and it starts to move, pumping thick ink through the pipes, at least one of the party there could swear seeing a eye look at them through the ink.

The metal gate to the exit opens, as thick black ink starts to drip everywhere.

A crackling noise is heard behind them from one of the walls.

Lyra: <Huh.>

Elizabeth: *sighs*

Olivia: <...Well, that was rather dramatic.>

-Lyra heads off to investigate the noise.-

Zoroark: <...Ah! Hey!>

-He tries turning the machine back off-

Soujin: Hopefully this guy doesn't take us somewhere weird...

Colton took a step back from the lever as it was pulled - with incredible fervor, no less - and things started to come to life. He was a bit offput, mostly due to how unnatural everything looked.

Then Colton looked at the ink already around them, as if it was somehow affected. Then he noticed what looked like an eye.

Well, my instinct was correct - something is watching us. Probably just some spoopy way to disguise a security camera. He thought.

-and a split opens in the air-

PEFE!Every: So aside from confirming what I probably could have told you anyway about Ever, all I've learned is that I definitely don't want to meet any alternate versions of myself.

Silas was still making his way through the wilds, he was swapping through blueprints on his P-Droid for Bishop, "So you want a full on robot body?" "Of course Captain! I may be a useful digital assistant but actual hands to assist you would help."

Snakeye eyed Bishop, <Buddy, ya know Silas got plenty of help right here right?> "It's fine Snakeye, I don't mind the enthusiasm."

Bishop would beam if he could, "Oh I like that more humanoid one!" "Really? I got a preference for the more obviously robotic design," "Well if you insist cap-" "It's fine Bishop. I'm just stating what I like, you get to pick in the end. It's your body."

Snakeye starts laughing while Hacks facepalms, even a loud hello was delivered as deadpan as possible.

The noise stops, as behind everyone, a ink stained wall breaks open, and there appears dripping in ink, the visage of Zachary Zoroark, smiling to everyone as it reaches out and tries to grasp at the tourists.

With everyone else having dispersed or something - hell, he didn't really know - Colton descended the stairs leading to the Altar, knowing that everything he could possibly do was done.

Maybe he'd get a refresher on whatever trials he cleared, see if he could do a few more. Hell, he didn't know. With no Z-Ring, he'd have no need for them to begin with. Maybe he should just get back to work.

He figured he'd saunter around Poni Island some more. He rarely got fresh air; this would be a pretty okay opportunity. Then he recalled he'd have to go through where the Dragon Trial was hosted.

"I've no interest!" He announced as he entered the area. "I don't remember what trials I've cleared, so please don't attack!"

If he'd get through unmolested, good.

If not, there was Sylveon's quad damage against the Totem.

He saw the animated Dark-type. Then he glanced at the natural Dark-type. He presented the Great Ball with ridges, 9-Volt landing a short distance behind him, a little spooked by the inked one.

"Electroweb-Beta or Bug Buzz. Your call," he sighed. He used the latter against Zachary as Colton stood behind him. Whether the inky Zoroark would even be fazed...
