-The Enforcers suddenly lock eyes with Jean and Star. Jean gulps.-

-She looks around - the Joltik Squad has gone hopping down the mountain, and Cun Annwn and his compatriots are being teleported away. Very slowly.-

Lotus the Ralts: <Oh wow, reinforcements are on the way!>

Rio: <For the last time, that already happened!>

Cun Annwn: <Don't worry, she'll catch up eventually.>

Ludmilla: Well, I gotta call my dad, so...

<...> Star blinks.

<.. Why're you guys looking at us?>

Elizabeth: ~Okay Oberon, we're ready!~

-Oberon, on top of a stool, turns and addresses Haku, Lyra, and Aristotle, who are sitting on a couch facing a wide open area. In front of them are two large sheets, held up by Lyra's telepathy. Elizabeth, Christina, and Olivia are nowhere to be seen.-

Oberon: <Lady and lords of the Tsukida house, may I present "The Ballad of the Cobalt Stars"!>

-The curtains leave the room, showing the three women. Elizabeth is sitting on a stool, a music stand in front of her. Christina and Olivia stand off to the side.-

Elizabeth: "Shall we, girls?"

-She strums a few notes, and Olivia stretches.-

Elizabeth: "A one, a two, a one two three-"

-She begins to play some music. Olivia starts to dance. And Christina...-

Christina:♪<One faithful day, at Aismov Labs,

Our fair heroes met!

Nine be their number, but little they knew

Of the event they would never forget!

For behold, a strange wormhole, That sucked them in against their will! In this world they would be needed And so would their skill

There, a war raged!

Unlike any they had seen.

Our heroes knew what they were there for-

To restore what had been!

The first of their trials,

A battle, long and furious!

They defeated their enemies

And emerged victorious!

They formed a group

And fought to save the cosmos!

The Colbalt Stars!

They would bring the war to a close!

The second battle,

The Stars fought to defend!

Enemy ships and a mech there were

Yet they all met their end.

The third battle,

Tougher than before!

A giant dragon, breathing flame!

But they too fell through Death's door.

Fourth, to save the innocent,

They fought another enemy!

Another dragon, a fascimile of a god!

And now ten became our company!

Next, they stopped a bomb,

And learned how they were known,

As saviors, as heroes!

But then they had to move on to the next zone.

Then they fought their rivals again,

And captured an invader on their ship.

They won and questioned the invader,

Who joined their fellowship

Once more, with extra help this time,

The Stars fought a Mecha Slaking!

The toughest of the three mechs!

But it too stopped living!

Now for the final battle!

First they fought their rivals once more,

They were defeated and rethought their decisions.

But now the Stars would end the war!

"DeCross", they cried,

"We're coming for you!"

They sought vengance

For the many and few.

But Alexander feared the group,

And split them apart.

Captain Grant and his crew,

DeCross's plans they would thwart.

Captain Silas Grant,

He fought the villain alone!

A hard battle fought,

But DeCross was dethroned!

The rest of the Stars,

A copy they fought!

Tough was the fight,

But DeCross's efforts were all for naught!

DeCross was defeated,

Our heroes prevailed!

The world was saved!

Alexander's plan had failed!

Our heroes, all eleven, departed!

They left that world behind!

Home they sought,

And home they would find.

And though memories may fade,

And lives may end,

The Cobalt Stars' victory,

Will never be forgotten.> ♪

-Christina, Olivia, and Elizabeth bow to applause.-

-He takes off, accidentally dropping a crumpled-up flier in the process without noticing. The edge of the Bronze Birds sigil can be recognized-

-she shuts her mouth for a second before continuing-

...Anything too unscrupulous.

Sora: Nah, we just need you two to find something, is all!

-Jean raises an eyebrow-

Colton watched the Decidueye fly off. "I thought they were Grass-Ghos - hm?" He was interrupted when he noticed a piece of paper falling from where he was.

A calling card? He snagged it out of the air and looked over what was on it.

-It seems to be an advertisement for the Bronze Birds, although it's a bit difficult to read because — aptly — the writing is absolute chicken-scratch. At most, it can be interpreted that the offer's for birds and debatably-birdlike Pokemon, and there's... something about the Auric Avenger?-

Colton was incredibly glad that whoever wrote it had only marginally worse handwriting than him, before he wondered why it wouldn't have been typed unless the one behind this entire outfit was from Capim Town.

He was able to decipher it with moderate difficulty before he paused at something near the end. "Who dafoq is the Auric Avenger?"

Shaun: "I expected that to take longer."

Jessica: <Hey, at least we'll have plenty of time to do other stuff!>

Shaun: "Like what?"

-Jessica shrugs.-

Jessica: <Ace still has two tests before he can become a member of the PEFE, we're probably gonna end up going with Locke, we still need to look for an Armband or something...>

Shaun: "All good points."

Jessica: <Course they are, silly. I said them!>

-Shaun rolls his eyes, grinning.-

Jean: So you want us to help you find some artifact that is most likely cursed.

Leeya: Not so much cursed as having weird powers!

Colton didn't expect any answers, anyway. He decided to take the shuttle back down to Malie. Maybe there was something in the library. If not, well, he at least had wi-fi there.

By this time, he was on Route 15, rushing it for the Library. As standard fare, he had his music on. Unlike normal, the tune didn't match his mood at all.

" Oh we~ could be~ on a desert~ lost without a pla~ce to go

But we are so in love - in love with each other, that we wouldn't even know~" He sang as he ran.
