-The Man in White's eye twitches at The Shiny Delphox and the Lucario in front of him.-

Man in White: Get lost.

-Ren and the man both send Psychic blasts at each other. The two attacks collide, displacing air with a series of shock waves which cause the man's coat to flare and his sleeves to flutter.-

-Ren then sees the gold armband on the man's wrist.-

-The others should be arriving just in time to see...-

Ren: <Kitsune, Fire Blast!>

Kitsune: <Over here big boy!>

-The massive fire ball Kitsune exhales spreads into the kanji for fire as the man turns to use a massive wave of Telekinesis to hold the fire ball in check.-

Man in White: You play dirty!

Ren: <That's rich coming from you.>

-Ren's body faintly exudes obscura as he dashes forward and swipes at the Man in White's arm and then skids and scrapes to halt in front of the others. Ren's right claw digging into the ice to slow himself while hanging on the shaft of his cane-wand is an Armband.-

-And where the man in white once stood, freaked out at the group in front of him stands....-

Man in White Alolan Ninetales: <Heh-heh... He-eey... We're all adults here. Can't we talk about this civily?>

-What do you do?-

-Rillian audibly grinds her teeth as both the Tyranitar and Excadrill launch Rock Slides at her Vaporeon and Jolteon. Her last two Eeveelutions go down under the barrage.-

Rillian: DAMN IT ALL!

-She recalls her Pokemon before moving to the edge of her platform and staring out at the desert below. She points to the next platform.-

Rillian: You win! Now get going! I don't want to see your face around here again!

-Dune shrugs and goes on his way.-

-He soon meets a incredibly large man.-

Solog: Ya Solog! Ya zadavlyu tebya!

-Dune is less taken aback and more flabberghasted.-

Solog: Doubles!

VS! BODYBUILDER SOLOG!

Solog: Septayl! Bleyziken!

-A Sceptile and Blaziken both take the field. Dune realizes that his opponent is just using starter Pokemon.-

Dune: Ah hah. Okay then. Go, Garuda and Hildr!

-The Sigilyph and Delta Donphan rush into action.-

Dune: Air Cutter and Icicle Spear!

-Garuda quickly suppresses the two opponents while Hildr charges the Sceptile, thrusting tusks at the fore.-

Reynardine Fortress, Past

-Dune, Selene, and Garuda appear with a *wuh-thoomp!*.-

Dune: Alright, we're... done?

Selene: <And like the end of fall, our hopes are dashed by the cold reality->

Garuda: <Dune, please put her back in her Pokeball before I have to listen to any more of these philosophical equivalents of fortune cookie babble.>

-As for Lisa and Skyan, well a certain blue eyed Clefable certainly notices-

-Pent steps into the throne room, a little out of breath as he looks at the unfolding scene-

-He smiles a little bit, bringing in a girl-programming lech was a good enough deed but claiming another Pokemon to Human armband for the Team, bonus!-

Honestly I had my money on visual illusion but hey if you've got the gear might as well use it. So! Anyway! I believe we're going to need to ask you to break your hypnotic control over these girls. We have you surrounded and outnumbered.

Gerod: And we're back! For those of you just tuning in, our most recent contestant, one Derek "Dune" Galvani-Morton, had just defeated the ninety eighth trainer in his Mt. Battle climb, and despite all the odds is still keeping momentum.

Viven: That's right, Gerod. Mr. Galvani-Morton has been going hard at this challenge for some time now - just last week he got to to trainer eighty five! But will he be able to make it past Battlus's second-in-command, our very own Supertrainer Libal?

Gerod: That's the question, all right. Mr. Galvani-Morton has quite the unusual team composition, but he's made it work - even past trainer ninety one, whose team consists entirely of Water-Types.

Viven: That's not even going into how well his team seems to work during Double battles. The combination of his Tyranitar and Excadrill is a truly frightening one.

Gerod: Apparently his Excadrill is also a recovered Shadow Pokemon from the resurgence a few years ago.

Viven: That would make the Excadrill, lovingly named Vega, the first recovered Shadow to challenge Mt. Battle since the Shadow Lugia incident!

Gerod: Right you are, Viven. Oh, and now it looks like Mr. Galvani-Morton is making his way to Libal now! Let's cut back to the action.

-Dune blinks as the Alolan Ninetails hightails his way out.-

Dune: Oh no you don't! Go, Vega!

-Dune sends out the Excadrill.-

Dune: Vega! Catch him! Use Bullet Punch!

-Vega nods and dashes after him. Rather than slow as he exits into the hallway, Vega digs a claw into the floor and uses it to redirect his momentum without slowing, drifting out into the hallway.-

Keithbin: Yeah, I wound up here from another universe because of a Glitch.

-Pent doesn't give too much chase, sure given a marathon a human could outrun a Ninetales but this was more of a sprint and Pent was not particularly good at sprinting. Instead he opted to stick around the throne room and rummage in his bag for his team and that device he was working on-

-He quickly shifts into a greninja as he turns, and slams a webbed hand into the floor as he attempts to sprout a Grass Knot from the glowing moss to trip or entangle their 'host'-

Mondo: <I can imagine. Still, congratulations, eh? Hope your new neighbors are decent>

Shinobi: <Heh, still seems kind of funny to think about you and Sholto getting hitched>

Lisa: <They're pretty nice, yes. One of them actually owns the music store I work at and her son's friends with my child too, so, it's nice.>

<And, heh, yes. I admit in some ways he took my life for a loop, but it was a pretty nice loop, all things considered.>

Mt. Battle

-Dune walks up to the second-to-last challenge. A young woman in oddly elaborate finery stares him down.-

Libal: You've done well to get this far. But you shall go no further! By my pride, your challenge ends here!

Dune: Afraid I can't acquiesce to that demand. Not with what I've got at stake.

VS! SUPERTRAINER LIBAL!

Libal: Go! Shedinja and Electrode!

Dune: Go, Ajax and Vega!

-Libal immediately winces as the sandstorm kicks up, her Shedinja looking very, very worried.-

Libal: Electrode, Rain Dance! Shedinja, use Will-o-Wisp!

Dune: Stop that Electrode! Drill Rush and Rock Slide!

-Vega flies at the orb, sending the Electrode flying into the air before being smacked by a flying Rock Slide. The Shedinja manages to dodge the rocks, and fires a burning wisp at Vega, leaving him scorched and crippled. The Electrode smacks against the platform and rolls, knocked out and unable to Rain Dance, resulting in the sandstorm continuing and knocking out the Shedinja.-

Libal: Not bad.

-Libal recalls her Pokemon.-

Libal: But we're still not done! Go, Glalie and Gardevoir!

-Dune recalls Vega before his burn can harm him or his attack power, and sends out Hildr.-

Libal: Frost Breath and Dazzling Gleam!

Dune: Rock Slide again, and Heavy Slam!

-The Glalie spews a stream of biting cold at Ajax - the breath stings, hard, before the shining light of the Gardevoir beams through the sandstorm. Ajax goes down before he can throw the Rock Slide.-

-Hildr, meanwhile, slams right into the Gardevoir, crushing the petite Fairy underneath the Delta Donphan's raw weight. The Gardevoir stays down.-

Capim Town

Lane:<You wouldn't be laughing if she'd been carrying you before we got in here.>

Maria:<But I'm a comfy floon~>

-The Grass knot does Minimal damage but does slow the Alolan Ninetales down a bit, but instead of holding his ground he once again uses Agility...-

-Dashing right into the Mist-shrouded entrance hall and blinding slamming right into Glockchen and being knocked back and to the ground due to the rebounding off the Abomasnow's girth.-

-So who wants to grab him?-

Reyn Fort, Past

Oof, nice body blocking there Glock!

-He gives a quick thumbs-up-

Libal: Hmph. Go, Breloom!

Dune: Go, Garuda!

-Libal makes note of the sandstorm - it's still going, but will lose momentum soon.-

Libal: Breloom, Mach Punch! Glalie, Frost Breath!

Dune: Not so fast! Ice Shards and Heat Wave!

-Hildr and Garuda leap into action. The Breloom fires a punch right as Hildr launches her ice shards. The two intersect before the ice shards reach their destination right before the mach punch hits. The punch goes off course slightly, causing the blow to glance, though still causing an immense amount of pain. Garuda quickly follows up with a massive front of hot air that throws the Breloom back and scorches the Glalie, though the Glalie responds with a Frost Breath and causes the Sigilyph no small amount of pain. The Breloom and Hildr both strain to get up, causing them both to be called back.-

Dune: Not bad.

Libal: Not bad, yourself.

-Garuda and the Glalie both are soon accompanied by a Lilligant and a Lanturn.-

Libal: You have me down to my last two.

Dune: I gotta say, I thought the rumors that you had a Regice, Regirock and Registeel were true.

Libal: Heh. Nah, those were old sim data copies. Nothing close to the real deal.

-Dune shrugs.-

Dune: Figures. Leaf Storm and Heat Wave!

Libal: Blizzard and Surf!

-The arena is shrouded in green, red, white, and blue.-

Gerod: Woah, what a show of power! I can't see anything down there!
