-Scarlette and Rose are finally back on track, after hashing out the details of getting the events of Chantey's shipwreck (and Ultra Space) to count as the former's Ghost trial.-

Scarlette: All right, she said he'd be somewhere around here, right? Geez, this place seems depressing.

Rose: Yeah. Something about a police station.

-She looks into the distance, squinting.-

Scarlette: I think that's it down there.

Rose: Might as well give it a shot.

-They approach the station, and look at each other momentarily before entering.-

-Mezzo has fallen asleep again-

Meowth: <Now!>

-the moment Rose enters, she is immediately pounced upon by a dozen Meowth attacking from the floor, the ceiling, the walls, and just about everywhere-

-Rose doesn't even have time to react before she's buried in cats.-

-Scarlette yelps at the surprise, then shakes her head and starts to try to dig Rose out of the pile.-

-Scarlette is met by an old man with a Persian next to him-

Nanu: You've got some nerve, coming right up to my doorstep like that. Other girl, if I were you I'd leave her alone. Trust me, she deserves this.

Colton snapped his finger, pointing at Frieden. "Stay here until further notice," he summarized. "Got it." He nodded, finding a wall to lean against.

"Wanna come with?" He asked Silvally, unsure of whether they had a nickname.

Scarlette: W-what?

-Rose pokes her head out of the pile and sputters-

Rose: Is this cough cough part of the Grand Trial cough cough

Nanu: Yeah, because you're totally here to take the grand trial, aren't you, Paula?

Meowth 1: <That's right!>

Nanu: That's a pretty poor disguise you've got there. If you're trying to get rid of me, you'll have to do a lot better than that.

Meowth A: <We can smell you!>

-Keithbin raises his hand akwardly to get Tagg's attention-

-Meanwhile, Leeya's eyes light up at Ahe's words-

Leeya: Sure! Just give me a minute after this meeting.

-In a fraction of a second, Rose goes from mildly dazed, confused, and looking vaguely like she needs to sneeze, to looking like she just got sucker punched in the gut.-

Rose: ...D-did... you say Paula?

Scarlette: Uh... I think you're mistaken, her name...

-She looks at Rose, worried. The expression on Rose's face does nothing to reassure her.-

Scarlette: ...Your name's Rose, right? R-right?

Zinnia: Well, I know their habitat pretty well. Beautiful place, Ultra Space, as long as they're not trying to kill you for intruding on their territory. They don't take well to foreign entities, which is one of the reasons they're so panicked when they end up in our world. So they have to frantically figure out how to survive, whether that's, like, eating everything, or clinging to other life forms. Figuratively or literally.

Nanu: Great, looks like she got a civilian in on her charade too.

-...-

Nanu: Listen up, lady. This is Paula, the new leader of Team Skull. I don't know what she told you and I don't know where she got the name "Rose" from, but whatever it is, it's a lie. This woman is dangerous.

Po Town Police Station

Knew it was a lie.

Scarlette: No... no, she— she can't be, I've known her for months, she's...

Rose: Team Skull, huh...

-Scarlette's expression shifts slightly, to something a bit more intense.-

Scarlette: ...Where is Team Skull? I don't know what's going on, but I need answers.

Nanu: Abandoned town near this police station. They consider it 'their turf' now. I hang out here to keep watch on them. Their main base is a big mansion on the side of town, which I guess she must have been planning to bring you to.

Po Town

She was planning on betraying you all along.

Scarlette: Fine, then. I'm going there.

Rose: Wait, Scarlette—

Scarlette: Don't tell me to wait!

-She grabs Rose and pulls her out of the pile, looking her in the eyes.-

She's scared.

Scarlette: ...You're scared. Of what I'm gonna find out. Is that what's going on?

-Rose can't bring herself to respond.-

Scarlette: ...

-She takes Rose by the arm and storms outside with her.-

Nanu: Hey! What do you think you're doing with her? Bring her back!

-a few Meowth try to cling to Rose, but are knocked away by the door-

It wasn't all that fun my first visit, but then I was fighting for my life and probably the multiverse so I'll take your word for it. Anyway, I think we've covered all we can today.

Gina: I thought she was with Zumi!

Zumi: I thought she was with you guys!

-In the confusion of everyone else under my control, Leeya breaks off to find Ahe. Alli, meanwhile, slips away from the others and greets a certain boy-

Alli: You get all that?

Boy: ~Yeah... More monsters, but you guys will deal with them?~

Alli: Yeah! The J-Team is way strong. By the way, kid, what's your name?

Boy: ~Uh, I go by Neon?~

Alli: That's one more thing I know about you... Just stick by us and lay low and you should be fine.

Hacks took over, ~That's probably aura coursing through you, Riolu have a bit of trouble since they haven't fully "awakened" to it. So you evolved, that makes my job even easier as Auric potential is practically second nature to us!~

Silas laughed and shrugged, "Keep in mind I'm not likely to keep this form or its powers when I return home."

Hacks put on a annoyed face, ~So you say... Look this is still exciting for me, don't ruin it.~

Silas put up his hand paw things, "We're doing well, according to the general, we can begin working on taking the assault to the Empire soon. After that we'll get working on getting home."

<Practice yer sharpshootin' skills boy,> Snakeye added, <Yer fighting a tough battle and ya gotta be quick on the draw.>

Silas raised a eyebrow, "How does that work when it's honestly been my ability to pilot spacecraft that's got me through this."

<Still gotta aim,> Tae added, Snakeye and Amber started nodding. Hacks let out a laugh, ~Good luck out there. Hope to see you get back home soon, anything you wanna do when you get back?~

Silas leaned back in his seat, "I wanna get back to just going about, exploring and adventuring. We've spent a lot of time in Space related business, and now I wanna take a break from that."

"Speaking of which," He leaned forward, "How goes the Asimov thing?" ~They just got the ore collected, now they're waiting for they refining ship and construction units. We're slowly making our way there."

Silas smiled, "That's good, that's good."
