Zachary is fighting Island Kahuna Hala, all of his Pokémon are injured and only Smoke stands a chance in terms of power level. Smoke has stood up to the battlefield against Zachary's wishes and is ready to fight.
Zachary: "Smoke! Don't do this! You're too injured!"
Smoke: <...Trust...me...>
Smoke suddenly gains blood red aura around him as his eyes start glowing a bright red and he gets in running start-up position.
Zachary: "...Wait...are you...using Brave Bird!? But the recoi—"
Smoke: <...Trust...me...>
Zachary: "...*gulp*..."
Hala: "Ohohoho! Now it's getting interesting! And if you're Farfetch'd is going all out...Then my Hariyama shall go all out as well!"
Hala gets out a Z-Crystal and inserts it into his bracelet, he then performs the Fighting-Type Z-Dance, causing Hariyama to gain a bright orange aura as he prepares to perform All-Out Pummeling.
Hala: "Now, young boy! Witness the true strenght...of Z-Power!"
Smoke breaks into a sprint as he quickly enters terminal velocity and starts dashing towards Hariyama at an incredible speed, however, Hariyama retaliates by punching the air in front of him multiple times, slowly increasing the speed of his punch rate until he's punching the air at mach speed as he runs towards Smoke. The two collide in an explosion which knocks Zachary to his feet as smoke fills the arena...only for a fainted Smoke to burst out of the smoke cloud flying into Zachary's face.
FARFETCH'D OFF!
Zachary: "I knew this would happen...B-But wait, what about..."
The smoke clears, revealing Hariyama slumped on the ground. Zachary smiles and is about to celebrate until the Hariyama opens his eyes suddenly and stands up once more, still injured though.
Zachary: "Oh no..."
Hamilton: <...Z-Zachary...don't...give up yet...I have...an idea...throw me into the fight!>
Zachary: "You what!? No!"
Hamilton: <...It's...our only hope...>
Zachary: "...Ah, dang it! Just don't get too hurt!"
Zachary picks up Hamilton and throws him into the field right as Hariyama's Leech Seed triggers, hurting him but also sucking out nutrients which then latch onto Hamilton and heal him slightly. Hamilton is still injured but now he's able to stand.
POPPLIO! IN SPOTLIGHT ON STAGE!
Hala: "Ohoho! Now it's getting interested! My Hariyama might be severely weakened, but he's still standing, and he still posseses a power advantage over your Popplio...So this could go either way really! Now this is the thrill of battle that I love so much!"
Meanwhile in the present...

...Jennifer and her team are sitting around in a bench eating crackers.
