Ahe: Alright. If I remember correctly, this trial is a Dragon trial, so we should look for a place that's thematically associated with dragons- deep caverns and high peaks, most likely.

Rumba: <This place looks like it's got a bunch of peaks and caves in general, if you ask me.>

Shadow: <And there go both your bishops.>

Ishaan's Espeon: <And you're still down a rook, don't forget.>

Ahe: Okay, I think I got the basic meaning of that. I meant like especially high peaks and especially deep caves.

Anabel: Well, we need to investigate where, exactly, she could have gone, and who has seen her and whatnot. Considering she is a Faller, it may have to do with the Ultra Beasts and-or Ultra Space itself.

Ahe: Yeah. I also remember hearing that the trial site's near the back of the canyon, so we should make our way back there before starting our search.

"Holy crap." Colton breathed. "Ultra Space - alternate dimensions." The trainer recited.

Alex: Right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ultra Space has this freaky radiation that infects peoplemon's auras, yes?

-She rides into the canyon-

"The radiation from the Wormhole lingers on a person or Pokemon's being, causing Ultra Beasts to be drawn to them in the hopes that they could use them to somehow return." Colton recited, vaguely aware that he was starting to speak up.

-Anabel is about to respond, but Colton beats her to the punch.-

Anabel: That... yes, that's exactly what happens. Passing through an Ultra Wormhole affects one's aura, in a way that attracts Ultra Beasts. That, in addition to the frequent side effect of partial or total amnesia, puts Fallers into severe danger, especially here in Alola where wormholes are especially common.

-pawn to d5-

Ishaan's Espeon: <Which one will it be, youngster? The knight, or the bishop?>

-indeed, the recently moved pawn is threatening both-

Shadow: <...I prefer to make my own choices.>

-bishop takes pawn-

Ishaan's Espeon: <Bishop it is, then.>

Having realized he had inserted himself into the conversation, Colton shrugged and walked over to Anabel and Alex.

"Sorry to steal your thunder," The Unovan apologized, fiddling with his headphone cable.

-Ahe looks up to see a post of some kind. On said post is a star-like sigil-

Ahe: Huh. This seems interesting.

Shadow: <Going for the fork again, are we? I think you forgot something.>

Ishaan's Espeon: <Well played.>

Forte: You can kinda feel the tension in the air between them, can't you?

Pianis: I think that's just because they're staring at each other so much.

-She pulls out a radar-like device-

Sora: It seems familiar... I say we follow it.

Ahe: I was thinking the same thing.

-Ahe walks past the sign into a nearby cave. A few feet into the cave there's a pile of rubble blocking the way-

Ahe: Well, that's a problem.

"So that little doodad can trail Wormholes, Ultra Beasts, and Fallers?" Colton pieced together. "Why not just call it an Ultra Guide? It's giving us the answer." He chuckled.

-Anabel blinks at the device.-

Anabel: ...Well, that's... convenient. I wasn't aware Aether had made handheld versions of their technology.

Rose: Oh, good, that makes it so much easier!

Anabel: Assuming I don't throw it off with my own aura.

Forte: Oh yeah, speaking of which, do you know who that guy was who passed us earlier? You know, the one who thought the chess game was cute?

Pianis: Not a clue.

"I'm sure if it did, it would be blaring right now." Colton mused. Then he realized. "Do you have that calibrated? It should have her on the radar or something."

Sora: Hmm... If Leeya was here she'd find a way to smash it.

Alex: Hey kid, I name my own devices. And don't worry, Anabel, I've already fine-tuned it to account for your natural cuteness Ultra radiation. Now let's see here...

-She starts holding the device out as it beeps-
