Scarlette: ...so as far as I can tell, that's what it takes to activate it. Like, just taking on any old wild Pokemon doesn't quite cut it, y'know?

Rose: That would explain a lot, yeah.

-Beside them, Nora is skipping happily along with a significantly more serious-looking Gus.-

-Shaun looks in the direction of the voices.-

Shaun: "Scarlette?"

Onix: <Robot Rayquaza? Geez, they're really trying to invade this place.>

-Scarlette blinks and looks around for the familiar voice, and spots Shaun-

Scarlette: Oh, hey!

-Rose waves.-

Rose: Heya.

Lyra: "Yeah. Any idea where we should head from here?"

Shaun: "Can I ask what you were talking about?"

Orbital Colony 13

Several minutes behind everyone else, Star's Delta Wing flies out and lands on the colony. Star herself jumps out, now outfitted with two laser pistols (both set to stun).

.. Shoot, I'm late again. She begins shooting at Dross operatives.

Scarlette: Oh, well, uh... we may or may not have discovered some sort of weird form change phenomenon?

Rose: We don't really understand all the details, but when Gus evolved—

-She gestures toward Gus-

Rose: —he ended up transforming into this super fast, stronger version of a Lycanroc, which, apparently, isn't something Lycanroc normally do.

Scarlette: And I could feel his pain and my mind was linked with his or something and it was weird. And he looked kinda like me!

Shaun: "Hmm. Doesn't that sound like-"

Ace: <The Battle Bond Phenomenon. Does it only happen after he defeats an opponent?>

Tapu Village

-The two blink-

Scarlette: It has a name?

Rose: ...Guess we know what to research, then.

Onix: <Well, maybe...>

-He heads off in a given direction-

Shaun: "Yeah. It's similar to Mega Evolution, and some Mons get it when they bond with their trainer."

Ace: <Honestly, I'm suprised Tsunami can't do it.>

-Lyra draws her shotgun and follows.-

Scarlette: ...Okay, so what's Mega Evolution?

-Rose sweatdrops-

Rose: It, uh, it's another type of form change that powers up Pokemon. You get a special stone, you give the Pokemon another special stone, you do a cool pose— this is sounding a lot like Z-Moves but you don't have to do a specific pose, just, a pose. With the stone.

Scarlette: ...Uh-huh. Okay.

Konikoni City

-Ludmilla is reading a book about dreams.-

-She's been reading one particular page over and over for the last half hour.-

Bromine: ~I'm soooooooooo boooooooooooooored... she's just sitting there...~

Bromine: ~You'd do that? Make mine a chocolate, if you could.~

Scarlette: Well, we've been... kinda slow getting the motivation to get from place to place. So, y'know, could be better.

-Nora's ears twitch, and she scampers toward the bush.-

Shaun: "Alli was like that too. Personally, I'm taking it slow, but steady. So you here for the Ghost trial?"

-Jessica whispers to Nora.-

-Joseph is, similarly, trying to connect-

Orbital Colony 13

Silas swerved around the Rayquaza as it blasted another beam, this one barely grazing the colony itself. Then he saw something, one of the weird jointed locks on the Rayquaza opened and began to glow red. "Well that's a weak point if I ever saw it!"

Inside the Colony

The raiding force was making good effort, the larger warmachines of Dross were being pushed back by Colony security machines as the ground forces prevented any one of them from entering the bunker.

One security guard shouted for the Raiding group to get in, "We've got the scientists in here!"

Tapu Village

Rose: Both of us are, yeah.

Scarlette: We've still got a bit of prep to do, but hopefully we won't need too much.

-Nora blinks, then grins-

Nora: <Name's Nora. I'm definitely up for tag, but I hope you're ready to get your butt kicked!>

Route 16 Center

-A certain Team Skull grunt stomps in, completely drenched. He's accompanied by a similarly soaked Hypno.-

Punk: Never again.

-He doesn't notice Tagg or Joseph, but his Hypno looks around before staring intently at the former, looking like he's trying to figure something out.-
