Youko reads for a few pages more, then finally gives up, putting a book mark in and stowing the novel.

<Musashi: 50/50 odds either way.>

Youko: Neat! You here for the League then?

She smiles lightly, but underneath there's an undercurrent of something... intimidating. After all, she did reach the status of island challenge champion at eleven years old.

Hae-Won: "Eh, probably not. Truth be told, it's just me and Akravator and while I have heard of some people who did it with just one Pokemon, I don't think I'm brave enough to try."

Akravator: <Hey! I could totally do it!>

Hae-Won: "But... yeah... that look. You want a battle?"

-The little Magnemite has found this world outside to be quite... strange. Mountains! ACTUALLY MOUNTAINS! PLURAL! MADE FROM FIRE! THAT'S SO AWESOME!-

-But that doesn't help her at all in finding what she's looking for. This strange signal's been beeping out here in this place for ages!-

Now, in Orre...

-The Magnemite has checked what could possibly be the entire ecological variance of this particular area and, despite her best efforts, can't seem to find the source of the never ending signal that buzzes in her head.-

-The Magnemite remembers hearing mention of an underground facility in one of the "towns" to the southwest. Maybe THAT is the source?-

Youko: Well, I might...

She fingers her Z-Ring, back on her wrist after three years.

Youko: ... but it seems you only have the one Pokemon. I don't think it'd be fair, now, do you?

Hae-Won: "Well, why not do a one-on-one? Sure I can take you there."

Youko: Alright... but first, two questions. One. Are you familiar with Z-moves? And two. You realize I'm not going to go easy on you.

Slowly, she rises from her folding chair as Musashi gets to his feet as well.

Hae-Won: "Yeah. I know what they are."

"And I wouldn't be battling you if I expected you to go easy on me."
