Mankey: <Crushing is rather unerudite; why don't you try anger management like I did?>

Tina: <Oh, I'm not angry! Heck, I'll go easy on you!>

-She chomps down on the Mankey with an Ice Fang...-

-The Mankey just barely survives...-

-And his eyes glow red-

Mankey:    <COLD?! I HATE THE COLD! I HATE YOU! I HATE EVERYTHING!>   

-The Mankey's sheer emotional bile turns into a Poison Jab that lands right in Tina's gut-

Tina: <Urk! So much for being nice...> -faints-

Locke: -winces- Oh no oh no oh no...

-NOW he sends out Kurow-

Kurow: <Dude. You need to chill.>

Mankey:    <ARE YOU INSULTING ME OVER THE ICE THING?! I'LL RIP YOUR WINGS O->   

-is downed by an Aerial Ace-

-Hala sends out a Makuhita-

Makuhita: <Suuuumo... Slam!>

-Smacks Kurow with a Force Palm, paralyzing him-

Kurow: <Gah! Not cool...>

-He topples the Mahkuhita with a lunging Brave Bird-

-Hala sends out a Crabrawler-

Crabrawler: <Put up your dukes!>

Kurow: <Um, sorry, dude, I don't have any fis->

-is slammed to the ground by a Crabhammer, K Oing him-

Locke: Shit!

-thinks-

Okay... No one else on my team is good against Fighting... Which means... Oh, I hope I don't regret this...

-sends out Hermie-

Hermie: <Cousin!>

Crabrawler: <Oh great, you.>

Hermie: -scuttles twoard the other Crabrawler- <Hermie call you Cousin George!>

Crabrawler: -backing up- <Stay back! You're that loony raised by Bewear!>

Hermie: <Huuuug!>

-Hermie delivers a hug crushing enough to count as a Rock Smash directly to the other Crabrawler's carapace-

Crabrawler: <Yeooooowch!>

-Swings a Power-Up Punch at Hermie-

Hermie: <Ow! Be nice, Cousin George!>

-He swings a Dizzy Punch at the other Crabrawler, both damaging and confusing him-

Crabrawler: <Oog... Why you...>

-he attempts to Close Combat...-

-Only to punch himself in the face and be knocked out-

Locke: Well. That was an unusual victory.

Hala: I'll say.

-to Alli-

Alli: Aww yeah! It's on!

Muddy: <It's Kukui, or Professor Kukui now.>

-We walk over-

-Kukui seems to already be wrapping up his phone call when he sees Tagg.-

Kukui: All right, I'll catch ya up to speed properly once you get here. See you in a bit.

-He hangs up, and greets Tagg with a huge grin-

Kukui: Now there's a familiar face I haven't seen in a while! How've ya been, cousin?

-Scarlette waves, but stays relatively quiet.-

-He was back to his notes and maps again, he even broke out a corkboard and the red twine this time...-

Susan: Thought you said you were going to go do the Trials... -There is a palpable sense of :/ on her face-

Would of been distracting, I need to be preparing for the threat before...

Susan: Is it a credible threat?

No, not yet... I just... I can't pick a starter and talk to people without sorting this...

Susan: Do you want me to sign you up?

Susan: We can go up to Iki Town right now and I can do the talking for you.

You d-don't need to, I wouldn't be able to choose a starter anyway and that's mandatory...

Susan: Well, what's the options?

-Pent's silent for a moment, pushing aside some of the papers and handing over some photos of the trio of starters-

Susan: Alright, fine. Let's see... Why not the fire one, it's an adorable little kitty with Brimstone on it's head.

Third stage is a bipedal wearing a championship belt. It's got to be Fire/Fighting type, it's very overplayed...

Susan: Water?

Clown Seel that turns into a singer mermaid Seel. I've already got one water-type concerned about the feminine appearance of it's evo I don't need another...

Susan: And what's your issue with the cute little bird ball?

It's too... Obvious.

Susan: Obvious...

It evolves into a flying archer bird and gains Ghost typing. If this starter was any more me it'd be wearing the fricking Grey Cowl...

Susan: And that's bad because..?

I'm already me, I don't need another me!

-Susan sighs heavily and steps towards the door, cracking open the six case of pokeballs in the shopping bag and taking one-

Susan: Fine, anything you'd want from town or Route 2?

What..?

Susan: So you can trade off your starter to me.

Oh, uh... I dunno, I trust your discretion on this...

Susan: Alright, I'll go looking. In the meantime... Pull yourself together, okay? I don't need you like this for the whole tour.

-And with that Susan steps out to go find a Pokemon she can convince to be caught by her-

-After some healing, Hala sends out the Mankey again. Alli sends out Botox-

Mankey: <Fair warning, if you crit me you should KO me, for your own sake.>

Botox: <Gladly!>

-She goes for a Poison Jab, sending the Mankey reeling from damage and being poisoned before he retaliates with a Karate Chop-

-It only ripples across her body a bit before she delivers a Poison Jab undercut-

-The Mankey staggers for a bit before the poison damage sends him falling over-

-Hala then sends out his Mahkuita-

Makuita: Suuumo... SAND

-He kicks sand up in Botox's face-

Botox: <Gah! How despicable!>

-She swipes futiley at the Makuita as it Force Palms her until she faints-

Alli: Rrr... That won't do...

-Sends out Huginn-

Huginn: <What are you going to waste my time with today, nincompoop?>

Makuhita: <This!>

-swipes at her with a Knock Off...-

-That merely bounces off-

Huginn: -Extends two shadowy appendages that glow pink at the tips-    <How adorable.>   

-Grabs the Makuhita and slams him aound with wild abandon-

-Huginn tosses the fainted Makhuita aside-

<Next!>

-Halla sends out Crabrawler-

<Oh, you should be->

-Alli grits her teeth-

Alli: -grits her teeth- Mine Turtle's too young... Waddles would take that Crabhammer hard... I've only got one option here...

Go, Gerald!

Crabrawler: <Oh, this should be easy.>

-he smacks Gerald with a Power-up Punch that sends him sprawling...-

-Only to let out a very loud HOOOOOOOOOONK as he starts glowing-

-When the glow fades, he is a Brionne-

Brionne!Gerald: <Ooh, pretty. Wait, I can talk! Oh, this is just fabulous!>

Crabawler: <Yeah, OK, now just let me beat you u->

Gerald: <Now hold on, sweetie, let an artist show you how it's done!>

-He lets out an even louder HOOOOOONK-

Crabrawler: <aaaaagh make it stop>

-one more honk and he is down-

Hala: -rubs the back of his head- Well I'll be.

Alli: -fistpumps- Yessssss!

-To Kukui, laughing-

Kukui, or should I call you Professor now? Nice to see your whole "Make a Pokémon League in Alola" thing's worked out.

-Kukui laughs-

Kukui: It's been a long time coming, and a lot of hoops to jump through, yeah, but I'm glad it's finally coming together! Of course, this new Champion spot is gonna be very contested, so who knows who you'll face there in the end?

-He smirks-

Kukui: Unless you let me down and don't make it that far, but come on, why wouldn't you?

-Kukui, meanwhile, notices Scarlette's stiffness and gives her a gentle pat of reassurance.-

UB division? Figures the International Police would have a division for that. I guess that's what brings you here all the way from Hoenn.

Muddy: <A Frontier Brain and an Interpol agent?>

Helios: <Well, Tagg's part of the J-Team, a multiregional Champion, and a researcher, so I guess it works out.>

Botuli: <I'm confused...>

Anabel: Again, correct. Recently, there was a particularly huge outbreak of Ultra Beasts showing up around Alola that still need to be dealt with however we can. Of course, the J-Team being around might make things a bit easier, if you all are willing to help out?

Kukui: We would have asked our upcoming Champion, but... well, they're just a kid. It's bad enough what they've had to experience on what was supposed to be a plain old Island Challenge, we don't need Interpol to give them another job.

This should let you challenge the Trials on Akala Island with no problem.

Locke: Good to hear.

Hala: Next, something a bit special...

-He hands Alli and Locke a Z-Ring each, along with a Fightingum Z-

Those are the Z-Rings used to preform Z Moves! And the Fightingum Z! I didn't get a chance to use it in either of your battles, but the others will be more prompt!

Alli: Cool! How do they work?

Hala: Like this!

-He strikes the pose for Fightingum Z-

These will let you ride around on Alola-approved Ride Pokemon! I've already got my thirty-something Tauros at your beck and call, and you can earn more as you advance through Alola! I reccomend checking out Ten Karat Hill to the south!

Alli: On it! Come on, Locke!

-They summon Tauros, hop on, and start charging off; before they do, however, Hala calls to Locke-

Hala: By the way, kid! If you want to find your parents find the Shrine of the Pendant!

Locke: Wait, wha-

-but Hala is gone-

Alonya: ...Why?

Oran OS: Well, on a grander scale, the intrests of Team Iron and Best Berry are complimentary to each other! If there's no Legendary influence to impede us, the company will prosper! On our individual levels, the J-Team are both in cahoots with several Legendaries and a potential threat to the company's intrests, meaning it is in both our intrests we are keeping sn eye on them!

Alonya: -blinks a bit, then smirks- I like how you think, little berry computer person. We'll get some intel on this J-Team together.

-she thinks a bit-

After a bit of training, Daydre is back here with Azure and Mr. Bitey. Mr. Bitey seems to have gotten some sunglasses. Not Black Glasses, mind you, just regular sunglasses.

"Why did you want those again?"
