-The spotlights stop as the doppelgangers fall. Eight of the twelve mirrors are darkened, only four remain - two of which become active just seconds later.-

Mondo Mirrored: <Yes, my king!>

SleepyHead Mirrored: <Yes, my king.>

-The two armored Pokemon copies jump into action, firing blasts of psychic and fairy energy, creating an epilepsy-inducing contrast of light and dark beams of energy.-

Mondo Mirrored: <APOCALYPSE NOW!>

SleepyHead Mirrored: <Go away go away go away!>

-Galvani throws a Magnet Bomb at the Mondo doppelganger, which starts tracking him incessantly as he desperately tries to get away from it.-

-Joseph covers his eyes; Lin Bu, meanwhile, launches some more Magical Leaves, this time at Sleepyhead-

-Abe no Seimei's eyes glow behind his shut eyelids as he grabs Ren and makes another wish weaving in and out of the beam spam, only taking minor damage.-

Ren: Gotta keep going... Gal's/Dezi's Shadow Selves are most likely biding their time waiting for us to be worn out...

-As Ren finishes his thought, a pink beam of healing energy zigzags through the air, aimed at Lane.-

-The grey Clef dashes for the pink Heal Pulse to catch it before the Magnet Bomb eventually catches up and blasts him into shards. The Hypno then tries to catch it, but is soon shredded by Magical Leafs.-

Galvani: <HAH!>

-The last two mirrors become active.-

Lane Mirrored: Yes, my king.

Meddler Mirrored: Yes, my king!

-The two of them draw swords, one wreathed in flames, the other in ice.-

Lane Mirrored: BY FLAMES!

Meddler Mirrored: BY FROST!

Lane Mirrored: LET OUR BLADE HOWL!

-They disappear in two counter-directional lines of light before the room erupts into a cacophony of energy.-

-Phobetor and Fitchers Vogel are struck by the attacks, taking a bit of damage-

Phobetor: <I'm quickly wanting you to go away, frankly...>

Lisa: <Agreed.>

SleepyHead: Ehehe...

-Though she is too quick to attack her Doppelganger's Doppelganger, Phobetor tries turning Meddler's energy against herself with a Foul Play-

-Fitchers Vogel, meanwhile, goes for Reflection!Lane with an Acrobatics-

-Lane grunts as he is healed-

-His fall sent the arrowhead the remainder of the way through and snapped it off. He grits his teeth as he pulls the remainder of the arrow out-

-He does catch a blurry glimpse of his clone-

A fire sword...huh...? Heh...cool...

-As Ren and Abe no Seimei feel the relief as the wish comes true, they swing their respective wooden accessories behind them as they fire a Shock Wave at Meddler Mirrored.-

CU - Throne Room

-Well this narrator has lost track of the story and thus by the power of narrative convenience, the Iri twins will be thus far relatively lacking harm aside from what they have already sustained-

-Verax is having Take-Mikazuchi throw bone clubs everywhere-

-Jakes is just using Fire Hidden Power when he's not cowering behind using Protect-

Jubilife - Past

Jacob: "Possessed train. That'll be a new one."

-Beat- "Assuming I live long enough to be a parent, I am going to have the best night time stories to share."

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

Eterna Gym- Present

-Ark has been silent throughout the gym battle, hyper analyzing everything going on. Cheering would be distracting for Phaz and she wants him to win, not lose. The rest of her pack has had no qualms though, and have been cheering and providing snippets of commentary. Ark tuned them out though. She barely noticed when the battle ended, only seeming to come back to reality when Phaz called her name.-

Ark: Hm? Oh. Yeah. Right. Our turn.

Barclay: <Finally back to reality. It was getting creepy with how intense she was.>

Ark: < I hear you volunteering to go first Barclay.>

Barclay: <Excuse me?>

Ark: You and your pack fought well.

-She looks mildly pleased while saying this. She expected nothing less after all she's seen. That and she knows what to avoid now.-

Ark: We will do the same.

-She states this as a fact, but the slight grin on her face betrays the bubbling excitement for the thrill of the fight.-

-Phaz is blushing again...-

Amelie: I've heard that she doesn't like ghost-types... I just thought that was a rumor though.

Phaz: Yeah, well... Sorry Ashley, but i'll let you go back in for now.

-Ashley gets back into the pokeball.-

-Phaz released Embry!-

Embry: -Adopts a fighting stand- <Yay! Showtime!>

Cynthia: ~I don't think so. Phaz finished fighting the Gym leader.~

Embry: <Wha? Then why am i out of the ball?>

Phaz: Well, i want you to see a fight from the outside. Aw, don't be mad, it's only for you to see what you may be capable of doing later. Okay?

Embry: <I don't understand some words, but this seems great! Okay then!>

Phaz: Oh and also one thing.

Embry: <What?>

Phaz: Don't eat the plants or the soil.

-The last two doppelgangers shatter. The mirror wall goes dark, before it too shatters, revealing a cut, battered, bruised, and bleeding Dune propping himself up with a chipped sword, with the Shadow advancing on him.-

Galvani: <Hey! HEY!>

-Galvani throws a Magnet Bomb at Shadow Dune, which sends him staggering. He turns towards the group with a growl.-

Frozen King: I see I will need to do this myself.

-He backhands Dune, sending him flying out of the way. The King's sword morphs from a simple steel blade to a serrated black ice razor.-

Frozen King: BEGONE!

-The Shadow plunges the blade into the ground as a remorseless winter storm begins to whip up around him, sending ice shards and whipping winds everywhere. Dune's limp body is picked up by the storm and thrashed around.-

Galvani: <Grrrrrr...>

-Galvani, not having any grasping appendages, fights through the storm with all of her power, slowly advancing on the eye of the storm, where the Frozen King channels the attack.-

CU, Throne Room

-Lane grunts and simply tries to anchor himself through the storm, unable to really summon Ikusa right now-

CU, Throne Room Past

-Abe no Seimei's eyes glow with vengence seeing Dune's battered body. As the strom begins to rage, Abe no Seimei unleashes a Massive Psyvhic that pushes the snow and winds away from himself and Ren.-

Ren: You claim that Dune was better off alone.. But times change and now it's time for you to see that there is a new threshold for power: Unity.

Abe no Seimei: -glaring at the Frozen King- Your pathetic parlor tricks end now.

-Abe no Seimei slightly raises his arms, palms up, levitating himself and within his Psychic-powered defense and shoots forward to push Galvani through the storm.-

-Take-Mikazuchi is knocked back and out by the ice storm, Verax bracing himself against the storm, fatigued-

-The ice impacts Shiva, whom continues to stride forward aside Jacob-

"You will leave my friend alone." -The persona grips its trident with two of its six arms and bears down on the Frozen King-

Velvet Room

-Prior to any text being sent out, Verax is lounging here with the attendants-

"..."

-He looks up to no one in particular- "Is there any reason we have to do this? No one will benefit from facing myself. I don't know if anyone other than me needs to be put through this."

-Margaret is reading, but looks up to acknowledge the comment but the just as silently returns to her reading, with a small knowing grin-

"If there is no way to win, I will simply force a way."

CU, Throne Room

-The Frozen King backpedals away from Shiva, leaving his sword in the floor - the sword, without it's wielder, stops channeling the brunt of the storm.-

Frozen King: Mongre- AAAAAAAGHAAAAAAAAAAA!

-Galvani, despite the fatigue starting to overwhelm her, blasts the metal-encased Shadow with a Thunderbolt.-

Galvani: <ENOUGH!>

-She breaches into the eye of the storm.-

Galvani: <That is ENOUGH out of you!>

Frozen King: Galvani, I-

-The King is interrupted by a Magnet Bomb to the face.-

Galvani: <"Galvani, I" what?! What were you gonna say?!>

-The blasts him in the chest with Flash Cannon.-

Galvani: <"Galvani, I did it all for you!" "Galvani, I didn't ever mean to hurt you!" IS THAT WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY?!>

-She calls down a Thunder, blasting the Frozen King to the floor.-

Galvani: <You will SIT DOWN, and STAY there!>

-Dune groans as he tries to prop himself up with a pillar.-

Dune: Heh... heh... that's my girl... I think I've got a few broken ribs...

CU, Frozen Throne Room, Past

Mendel: -through the accessories- Delivery inbound!

-A streak of pink healing light zigzags through the air head straight for Dune.-

Ren: -to the Frozen King- Did you ever think that the reason that Dune left that Arceus forsaken broken home of his wasn't just to get away, but because of how alone he felt? Heck, the proof he was alone is in the fact that he constantly sought out Galvani that that bitch and bastard hid - he saw another abandoned soul and he didn't want Galvani to be alone either.

-As Ren is ranting, Abe no Seimei's shaku ignites with mystic blue flames.-

Abe no Seimei: A heart frozen over
Thawed by the freedom of spring
Ignited by friendship

-Abe no Seimei swings his arm in a circular motion leaving a circle of blue flames in the air. The mouth piece of Abe no Seimei's mask slides open to reveal the human-like mouth with oversized canines, which exhales a stream of blue-hot flames through the circle. As the stream of fire passes through the circle, the stream expands and gans mystic green, orange, and red coloration in addition to the blue as the flames fly at the Frozen King.-

Abe no Seimei learned Mystic Fire!

Velvet Room, Present

-Theo serves Verax a cocktail.-

Theodore: <But can you say that seeing your allies' inner struggles hasn't influenced yours?>

-He takes a deep drink and sighs- "Alright. Can't delay this one any longer. Call in the squad."

-Elizabeth hits the "Send" button.-

The Real World, Where The Various Contractors are

-Various devices and service alerts buzz-

-Mendel get the message and grabs his anti-Fog lenses, his Contractors key, and his accessory as he summon the familar blue door on a nearby wall.-

-Ren gets the message and changes and grabs his gear as he heads towards the blue door appearing next to the closet.-

-Mendel and Ren arrive.-

Ren: -donning his mask- Ready here.

Mendel: -donning his headset- As am I.

-Dune takes a deep breath as the Heal Pulse hits him.-

-The Frozen King takes the Mystic Flame to the chest, but his armor takes the brunt of the attack. His muscles spasming, he pulls himself to a kneel as Dune approaches.-

Dune: I think they've already said all that needed to be said.

-Dune takes his Shadow by the arm and helps him up before the doppelganger shakes him off.-

Dune: Hey, now. Independence is one thing. But I'm a married man now. Going it alone now would just be dumb.

-The Frozen King turns and gives Galvani a look of pleading sadness.-

Galvani: <And don't you forget it.>

-Galvani crosses her magnets. The Shadow lets out a defeated sigh before shooting Dune a look.-

Frozen King: Fine. But this discussion... is not over. We will pick this up... another time.

-The Frozen King's body turns translucent before shattering into a small whirlwind of shards before reforming into the form of an armored Drilbur, a sword clenched in his mouth.-

-Galvani pats Dune on the back as astute members of the group might notice green static starting to build around everyone's feet.-

-Dune and Galvani arrive.-

Galvani: <You're sure Ludmilla won't steal from the cupboards anymore?>

Dune: Don't worry. I've got the best babysitter money can buy on the job.

-Ludmilla taps her fingers, as she has given up trying to dislodge herself from the massive Stoutland that has her pinned to the ground with his big, hairy body.-

Jacob: -He nods- "Good work every- Wait."

-He braces himself again- "Everyone get ready. We still have one last enemy to face down here."

Margaret: -She looks up at the group- <There is just one door left for you to open. Go forth, and do not falter.>

-Jacob is in here, and he nods, and looks at his brother-

-Verax stands up, notably wearing his old Cipher commander armor, and walks towards the blue door-

Verax: "Well, let's see what's behind door number one, right?"
