ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Hospital

Jacob: -He sighs- "Fine. Can you let Hikari know, though? I don't want her getting worried and I don't think I can get my fingers to stop shaking."

-He shakes his head- "Sorry, about all of-"

-Beat- "... Wait."

-He looks over at Blitz- "I can tell you since I don't have to give you any extra context. I ran into that Administrator thing again. You know, the one from Zrone's lab?"

Hospital

-Sarah nods-

Sarah: Assuming I can actually get ahold of Hikari, I'll tell her.

-She falls silent upon mention of Zrone and the Administrator-

==Eterna City Gym (Present)==

The Leech Seed restores some of the Cherrim's health until the flamethrower hits it, scorching the Cherrim and causing it to faint as Gardenia recalls it and gets out another Poke Ball from her pouch.

Gardenia: "Good job, challenger, you have put up a great fight all this time! However, my last Pokemon is not one to be taken lightly, prepare to take on my all-time star, Roserade!"

Gardenia throws a Poke Ball in the air out of which a Roserade pops out before posing in determination.

Gardenia: "Let's go all out Roserade, go for a Poison Sting!"

Roserade jumps up in the air as a poisonous thorn pops out of its left bouquet hand, it then brings down said arm in order to stab Alice with the thorn and potentially poison her.

-Blitz's eyes widen in shock at the thought-

<Wha, really?? I'm amazed that monster didn't kill you!>

Hospital

Jacob: "Well, it would have, if you and Sarah hadn't shown up."

-He starts rubbing his chin in thought- "Though, it said a few things that I still need to make sense of. And I think I understand how it's armor works now. But I don't have any concrete proof."

-He opens one eye to look at Blitz- "It called itself "a shard of calamity", but I don't have any idea what that means. Though as for how to destroy it..."

-He shakes his head- "It's not a matter of number of allies and the amount of damage one can inflict. Its unique circumstances make it immune to being outnumbered. If my hunch is right, that armor is just flat out immune to damage below a certain threshold. I guess it'd be easier to explain with numbers. Let's just call an arbitrary mid-strength attack from an average Pokemon as a "5". The Administrator's armor is immune to anything below, let's say, a "15" for simplicity. Not only do you have to hit it with something above "15" to hurt it, but the armor subtracts "15" from its own injuries. That's why it looked like we weren't doing anything, even if we hit it hard enough to hurt it, we could only do bare minimal damage to it."

-He closes his eye again- "Such a vexing issue. We need to be able to destroy it or disable it before it can obliterate us, but to it is impossible to wear it down as fast as a normal enemy."

-He bows his head, steepling his hands- "I'll need to think on this."

"..."

-He opens his eyes again and looks at Sarah and Blitz- "Sorry. I... ramble when I'm thinking. But seriously you two, thanks."

Hospital

-Sarah crosses her arms, thinking-

Sarah: ...There wouldn't happen to be ways to take it down indirectly, would there? Attacking it may not work, but what if we figure out something that doesn't touch the armor in the slightest...

-She shakes her head-

Sarah: Nevermind, I have no idea what this thing looks like so I don't think I'd be able to help. I'm... glad you're okay, Jake. Stay safe, at least until you can afford not to.

Snowpoint

-Etran is around, using a snowman for Siku's target practice.-

Psyche smiles. ~Eterna Forest is such a lovely place and I really haven't spent nearly enough time in the Old Chateau. Alas, no Psychic types tend to stay there, probably because of the ghosties, but ghosties are cute too~~

-Blitz rubs his chin as Jacob explains his theory-

<Hard to imagine that in real life... But yeah, I get it. We have to hit it with at least a "16" to do "1" damage... So it's immune to Death of a Thousand Cuts, but it's not invincible...>

-To Sarah- <Well, this thing is a robotic death machine of some sort, so it's not like we can just Sleep Powder it... And last time, well...> -He gives a small shudder at the memory of the situation they fought it in- <well, It could have been a lot worse...>

-To Jacob's again-

<Anyway, don't worry about it. If your theory is right then maybe we can beat that thing, but right now I'm just glad you're able to ramble at all>

Jacob: "Exactly! Oh I love talking with numbers. Regina was able to hurt it after she Mega-Evolved. But before that there wasn't a lot we could do to harm it. I'll need to think about this more."

-He looks at Sarah- "To elaborate on what pinky just said, the Administrator is... a synthetic life form of some sort, created by Zrone. It's about twelve-to-fourteen feet tall and entirely encased in heavy metal plate armor. We met it when I tried to clear out one of Zrone's bases by myself, which was a mistake. But... I didn't see the fight but I definitely heard it. It's... monstrous. It's a blindingly fast, crushingly powerful, unbelievably durable enemy. I know in a straight up brute force fight it is probably unstoppable, except probably against major legendary Pokemon. And even then, I'd wager on it surviving a minute or two, and dealing a few harsh blows."

-He nods again, and lays back- "Seriously though, thanks for bailing me out. I'll try and rest a little bit."

Hospital

-a voice comes from behind Jacob's head, and a narrow face framed in blue hair leans over him-

Ever: So. You aren't dead.

Snowpoint

-Maria is about-

-Iggy is playing in the snow-

Hospital

Jacob: -His first reaction is to almost bolt upright, but he stops before he slams his head into Ever's-

-He slooooooowly lays back down- "... Yes? When did you- How did- Why- N-Nevermind..."

Snowpoint

(Snowy is somewhere around here, staring at an array of disassembled parts and gizmos with a blank look. Vatt is seated next to her, trying and failing to look maternal and encouraging.)

Hospital

Ever: I heard about your accident. Never mind how.

Are you alright? You don't seem to have a good track record injurywise.

-After visiting leaving Verax at the hospital to rest, F!Blitz is back in Snowpoint thinking about what she heard when she spots Maria-

F!Blitz: "Hey Maria"

Snowpoint!

-Maria blinks-

-Twice-

-Beat-

=D

Maria:Oh! Blitzie!

-Hugs!-

F!Blitz: "Yeah, heh, It's still me! Sorta"

-She hugs back-

"I heard Uta found a Moonstone for Mondo the other day, that was pretty sweet of her. Any chance you helped her with that?"

Hospital

Jacob: "I seem to have a minor case of fractured spine. And yeah I really don't. But I feel... functional?"

Snowpoint

Maria:Maaaaaybe a little~

-She giggles-

F!Blitz: "Though so, miss treasure hunter"

-She smirks-

Hospital

Ever: Don't take this the wrong way, but that's extremely surprising.

-he moves his finger in front of Jacob's face to check if Jacob's eyes will follow it-

Ever: What happened to you anyway?

Snowpoint

Maria:I try my best~

-Giggle~

Soooooo...yer a Mew again? :3

Hospital

-Jacob's eyes slowly follow the finger- "Short version, I was attacked by a giant robot thing, ran, it caught me, broke me over its knee and threw me in a lake."

Hospital

Ever: Well, that's concerning. I mean, we've all fought robots, but usually not such threatening ones.

Is this one of those "everyone should be worried" things, or is it strictly a you problem? There does seem to be differentiation these days.
