Velvet Room
Daydre is a bit taken aback. ".. T-the latter I guess? What are you doing? How are you even digging in the floor"

off the shitsDes' Dungeon
See, Mareep motif! Totally called it. Now the issue is remembering this mechanic...
-He glances around and shrugs-
If someone else wants to go for it go right ahead.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Snowpoint City
-Sarah giggles-
Sarah: No worries, it's not something a lot of people ever have to worry about.
-She thinks-
Sarah: Hey, would you be up for a battle? As training for both of us.
Elizabeth: <Well, what better way to illustrate truth than through metaphor?>
<Though... maybe you can find a way out of all this...>
-A rope descends from the roof, out of a portal that seems to lead somewhere-
-Dark clouds then form around the portal-
<Though, it might be a bit difficult going...>
"life is just a series of increasingly canon-eluding ao3 tags" ~ everydunsparce "Keep your hellfruit away from me, tempter" ~ also EveryVelvet Room
"..." Daydre gazes up at the rope, following it up with her eyes to the portal. ... Man, I've never been good at the climbing rope. She grabs onto it and tries pulling herself up.
off the shits-As Daydre grabs onto the rope, it swiftly pulls her up into the clouds-
-As this happens, the contractors would likely receive texts-
You might want to come over here. Your companion seems to be lost and she's made her way into her dungeon.
From: Elizabeth
Snowpoint Center-Ren blinks at the text.-
Ren: Going in by themselves... Again... *sigh*
-After about five minutes Ren has changed into his CU aventure attire and uses his key to open the door to Daydre's Velvet Room, the fringes of the coat fluttering behind him.-
Velvet Room-Ren runs in and sees Mendel struggling to try and climb the rope.-
Ren: *sigh* I'm getting too old for stuff like this...
-Ren summons Abe no Seimei who uses Psychic to float Mendel through the portal and to reinforce Ren's arms and grip as Ren climbs the rope.-

Klaus: <Hm. Obviously their defeat came before they could enter Interpol's radar.>
(Belinda tries to pet Klaus, but he gently shoos her hand away with a paw. Realising he's trying to stay on track and avoid distractions, she retracts it.)
Klaus: <The Illusion Project were a criminal syndicate. Their stated goal was to capture Mew and use its power to reshape all life on Earth into a "better" form. A classic case of believing the end justifies the means, except many Project members did not even believe that. They were common criminals, mostly, no different from your average goon in Rocket or Cipher.>
Wilhelm Voynich was among its most powerful members, and he was one of the few who genuinely believed their message. It was not out of any sense of good, however, but simple pragmatism. You must understand, Wilhelm was a broken man inside - he had no emotion, no empathy, just simple logic and tireless efficiency with no regard for human concerns. From his perspective, altering the fabric of life was simply a way of improving objects that needed improvement - not even people, objects - and that included freeing them from all the frustrating complexities he did not and could not understand. Ostensibly his cousin Clarice was an actual administrator, but for all her considerable psychic power Clarice was even more damaged mentally than he was, incapable even of getting dressed without someone forcing her to do so. Even the most unobservant among us knew Wilhelm was manipulating her, and that he held all the hard power. Clarice was also ostensibly my former Trainer, but again, Wilhelm was the one who truly controlled me. After all, Clarice had a bad habit of accidentally killing those Pokemon she tried to raise herself.>
(He pauses, giving a look that indicates he could say more if Tex/Gerald wished him to.)
Tastes better on the way back down.Sir Gerald: ~I don't sense anyone around here like that, so why were you hiding?~

Ren: I agree. Mendel? Got any ideas for us?
-Mendel brings up the feeds from the group's accessories.-Mendel: -his voice is relayed through the accessories- Scanning now. Give me a moment. Also not sure if you can see anything, but I'm detecting energy signatures above you. They are too far away from you for me to get a solid reading on them.
-Ren looks up and sees the shadowy figures.-Ren: So all we can confirm at the moment that they're there.
-Daydre may also notice that because she is the only contractor there, the Velvet Room has taken the form of a circular room with blue carpeting with many seemingly-endless corridors and staircases leading to and from the central room. Daydre and Elizabeth are likely in the center of the room. Theo is buy polishing the banisters of a stair case as Caroline and Justine stand to either side of what appear to be a brass elevator cage from the 1910's.-Newf and Daydre, I forgot to mention this to you two, but for Mendel's scans just PM me want he Mendel is able to detect for every obstacle or enemy the group encounters. This will prevent redundant confirmations.
