Ever: Okay, so this is actually horrifying.

-he's currently staring down a glitchspawn Drapion-

Brushfire: -ducking aside from a Cross Poison and twirling away, spinning her stick to send a Flame Burst at the Drapion- <Fight it yourself and get back to me!>

Ever: Don't be like that, Brushfire. You're doing fine.

-he turns to Mallory, who is staring in horror-

Ever: Are you going to help out, or just stand there while I save your life?

Mallory: Umm....

-Mallory grabs a random Pokeball, and sends out-

Ever: I mean, this isn't exactly my first rodeo. Brushfire, I know you think you want to stay behind the Drapion, but they're not actually that fast unless they're turning around, so keep in front.

-Mezzo is talking to Noelle and her brother-

Mezzo: So yes, I got turned into a Purrloin-Dunsparce-hybrid thing. And I got a mechsuit. That part was awesome, even if the thing doesn't really fit all the way. So anyway I went to the Solaceon Ruins, which was really different from the last time I saw it and we went into some—

-Mezzo is interrupted by the sound of a clock ticking-

Mezzo: What was that?

Pianis: I think it's the timer over your head.

-tick, tick, tick...-

Noelle: It says you have about 15 seconds left!

Mezzo: Until what? April Fools' Day is over so I'm totally not worried about anything that could go—

-with a loud 'dong', the timer reaches 0, and Mezzo immediately disappears-

In fact, you have been very productive — in the time since we last saw any particular action, you've stumbled across another COMBEE-INFESTED, FLAME-SPEWING MACHINE, regained access to BULLDOZE — which manifests as a small, localized tremor around one's ROLLOUT FORM — after destroying the machine and setting the hive on fire in what was probably an amazing standoff. You proceeded to BULLDOZE your way out of that mess through a small, ROLLOUT-sized hole in the wall, knocked out a path-impeding LICKITUNG through the power of INDIGESTION^* getting eaten in ROLLOUT FORM, then using BULLDOZE to make it puke. Pleasant. and went through the path behind it. You activated a piece of ODDLY BULLDOZE-BASED MACHINERY to drain the TOXIC WATER in a nearby room, traversed the room in question and activated more BULLDOZE-BASED MACHINERY to raise platforms to take an upper path, operated one final BULLDOZE-BASED MACHINE to be able to access a RAISED DOORWAY out of this place.

You eventually returned to the ROOM WITH THE GIGANTIC TREE. As with the ROOM WITH THE DECEASED UNOWN, there were SYMBOLS to activate in order to progress. Now that you had access to BULLDOZE, you could progress along the INTENTED WALLS and locate all of the SYMBOLS, opening up an ANCIENT DOOR.

You get the feeling the AUTHOR is having too much FUN with BOLDED TERMS, and are likely growing TIRED of her INANE ANTICS.

-Samus chooses not to comment on Mezzo's complaint, instead focusing on the path ahead. It opens up to what might have been a garden at one point, with four large mirrors pointed toward the center. There are no more plants here, except for a single Overcast Form Cherrim resting calmly in the middle.-

Samus: <...I have a bad feeling about this.>

Zeal: Okay, sent it... Now we have to wait for a reply.

Misery: <How many do you think there are?>

Mezzo: <This doesn't seem too bad. What's with the mirrors, though?>

Outside Eternia City

-An oblivious young woman, dressed in jeans and a colorful poncho, walks towards the city whilst strumming on an acoustic guitar.-

Sheila: How'd that first verse go again...? Oh, right.

-She starts strumming at rhythm.-

Sheila: To the town of Gateon Port came a stranger one fine day...

-The "Cherrim" turns toward Marvel.-

-In reaction, several massive vines lash out at everyone, knocking one of the mirrors into a position to reflect the sun down at it. Samus dives out of the way. It starts to unfold... and it grows and becomes very apparent that it is not just a Cherrim.-

-A more accurate description is that it is a massive, haunting, glitchy mess of several distinct Pokemon, including not only Cherrim, but Vileplume, Carnivine, Tangrowth, and Ferrothorn. From its center, what is recognizable as a deformed Scyther body rises and screeches at the group, bearing fangs and claws.-

-They both shoot Hidden Powers at Flaaghra-

Samus: <Yet another reason to not trust anything we meet here!>

-Flaahgra screeches as it's bombarded by attacks. It retreats some of the vines around it, making it possible to reach the mirror reflecting sunlight behind it. Samus shoots at it, knocking the beam of light off angle.-

-Deprived of its light source, Flaahgra's movements slow down and more vines retreat into its base. A small, round hole leading directly to its stem opens up, but Flaahgra blocks Samus with its scythes before she can reach it.-

Samus: <One of you, roll into that hole and hit it hard!>

-She avoids its scythe swipes-
