Sergey and his team are wandering around, Aicha again on Sergey's shoulders. Sergey carried Loran in his arms. And, as per usual: Absol silhouette in the background. Maybe they would be noticed by anyone.

Ark: Okay.

-She opens the bag and pulls out a cellphone and note. Opening the note she reads it and then hands it to Phaz.-

Hey Ark. Sorry about disappearing all of a sudden, wanted to try and catch up to my sister before she got too far ahead of me. But I figured I should leave you with a way to contact me. So here's a cellphone. Hope it's not too confusing for you to figure out how to use, Down (my Natu) or the instructions should be able to show you how. I hope.

Anyway, my number is in the contacts list, only one in there right now actually. So feel free to call/text if you need help figuring things out in the city, or if you're in trouble or especially if something weird happens! Because there's a pretty good chance that'll happen sooner or later. -Blitz

-as the group steps into the Collective Unconscious, it starts to form...-

-surrounding the group on all sides is a verdant meadow, with beautiful rainbows of flowers streaked out before them. It is a brisk spring afternoon, a teasing breeze flitting playfully through the air and ruffling the fauna. If one looks to the left, thatched roof houses, of the sort very early settlers would build, are faintly visible. Behind them, a suburban village, similarly distant. To the right, massive crystalline towers scrape the sky. It's obvious that all three settlements are too far to walk to-the only way forward is through the myriad of flowers-

Joseph: Oooooh...

CU

-Dune and Galvani both "Ooh" and "Aah" at their surroundings. Dune and Galvani, subconsciously, take each other by the hand. Or magnet.-

-Maggie is wandering around, likely near Scheherazade-

SleepyHead: <Quite the landscape here.>

Lisa: <Hrm, we'll see.>

Mendel: "Hm, Pythagoras doesn't seem to be picking up anything at the moment and there seems to only be one direction to head."

Lisa: <I think we could have assumed the latter.>

-She flies forth, SleepyHead going as well-

CU - Meadow

-save for Joseph idly humming as he walks, it is silent. There is a slight rustling of the grasses and flowers beneath their feet in the breeze, but otherwise nothing. Nothing seems unusual, or different from a normal meadow, but there is a distinct feeling of the otherworldly-

Joseph: Guess this is where we say that it's too quiet, huh?

-he laughs a bit, slightly nervous but not wanting to show it-

Old Chateau, yesterday

???:<Now, who is this..."Inspector" you speak of? I know no such mon!>

Nashu:<But...you're Inspector Hildebrand, aren't you?>

-The Machoke curls his biceps at his sides, then brings to his front in a flex-

???:<As I said, I know no such mon! I only know my fellow ghosts! For it is I! Ghostlybrand! Eater of Dreams! Ravager of the sleepers! It is what I know after I awoke with my splitting headache!>

-Cue Jason sweatdrop-

Jason:G....Ghostlybrand...?

Nashu:<Nnnnngh...I refuse to believe this!>

-Nashu, where'd you get massive firecrackers-

<Maybe if head trauma caused this, then more trauma reverses it!>

-She throws them...in a small room-

-He chuckles to himself for that small moment of self-depreciation-

-Surprisingly, the room is intact-

-Ghostlybrand is currently face down, groaning.-

Nashu:<Whew~. Maybe less gunpowder next time~>

-The Machoke slowly begins to get up-

Nashu:<Inspector! Are you truely back?>

-Suddenly, he jumps up, doing the iconic pose once more.-

Hildebrand:<Ah-hah! But of course, my lovely assistant! It takes more than a simple Mhkaracca surprise bomb to rattle I, Hildebrand, Agent of Inquiry, Inspector Extraordinaire!>

-Nashu's smile grows-

-She glomps the Machoke and climbs onto his shoulder-

Hildebrand:<Now then! I do believe we are in need of a case! Let us be off!>

-And out they dash.-

Joseph: Oh, it'll be fine. See? Flowers!

-flowers, indeed. Of all sorts, even the sort that wouldn't grow in this environment. Joseph plucks a daisy from the ground and takes a breath-

-in the midst of one thicket, one could see an unusually vibrant red poppy-

-Haru follows, not saying much-

-SleepyHead sees the poppy-

-Misery continues walking.-

Misery: <So, have you ever been on an adventure before? What sorts of things do you do for fun?>

Dune: ... That's a poppy, if memory serves. Also known as the type of flower that opium is drawn from.

Galvani: <I looks like a giant red button.>

-Beat-

Galvani: <I'm gonna press it.>

-Dune grabs her by a magnet and keeps her in place.-

Dune: Oh no you're not.

-Ren looks at the vibrant red flower. Then sighs heavily as he understands the meaning of the Mushroom image as he sees a more of the often occurring red flower amongst the rest...-

Ren: -quoting, in a old woman-like falsetto- "Now, do I squash them all like the interfering bugs the are? Or shall I be witty and creative? The bug alternative is attractive, but... Messy... So witty and creative wins the day! Ah-ha! Something with poison in it, I think. With poison in it, but attractive to the eye, and soothing to the smell. -sinister whisper- Poppies... Poppies. Poppies will put them to sleep. Sleeeeep. Now they'll sleeeeep!"
