Pianis: See, everything I've got here is designed to improve my skill in ice magic. If I can get that staff then I'll have the complete set and then I'll be maxed out.

Temple Guard: Everything? Even the Bergmite on your head?

Pianis: Yeah, she gives +4 Intelligence, +25 MP, +30 defense and lets me wear another piece of headgear. I'd be a fool to take that off.

He has dark grey cargo pants that are tucked into bright red boots. His hands are covered by bright red gloves. His grey hair sticks up in various places, with the ends turning red. His eyebrows are also red. His eyes are sky blue. The pupil is white where it should be black.-

??????: I still say that this is complete and utter B.S. What the frig is going on here?!

?????: My, my. It looks like I was correct in my analysis of you having no sense of adventure. This is the start of an excellent mystery! I'm just itching to sink my fangs into it!

-The shorter woman with cropped light blue hair next to him snorts. She has a large yellow sparkle shaped hair ties on both sides of her head that hold two short pigtails. She is wearing an open light blue trench coat with yellow arm cuffs. Underneath is a black vest over a light blue business shirt. She has an black tie on that has yellow ends. She has simple black pants that are tucked into light blue suede shoes. She has yellow sparkle shaped earning studs in her ears. Excluding the sclera, Her eyes are completely yellow.-

???????: I swear... you two are absolutely ridiculous sometimes.

-The third man is in his 30's. He has an finely groomed tan mustache. His tan hair is swept back. He has a dark almost black eye color. He is wearing a long tailed dark blue tailed suit jacket over a tan colored dress shirt. The shirt is neatly tucked into light brown colored dress pants. He is wearing simple dark blue dress shoes.-

-she tries another kick, which has no visible effect at all-

-Blitz turned in his sleep as an odd dream faded, something about stargazing and that trinket of Jason's, and maybe Sakura was there-

-He blearily opened an eye, it was still dark. He rolled over as he debated whether to sleep some more or get up-

-Though it was REALLY dark, weird....-

-And why did it feel like he'd fallen asleep in a bathtub?-

Blitz's room

-A yawn came from the brown haired boy curled up in bed-

-He shifted and opened a red eye making a confused groan as he looked out the window. Then paused, and sat up and looked and his hands for a seconds-

-Blitz cringed and tried to roll over and put a pillow over his head as his debate was interrupted by a shriek. But there wasn't a pillow, or anything really. Something was keeping him from reaching past his head-

Mondo: <Oy, what's with the yelling first thing in the morning?>

???: "Ah-! Nn-!?!"

-There was a loud thud as something hit the floor-

Blitz: Bah... Guess I'm not sleeping anymore

???: "Ne-!"

Mondo: <You're acting really weird today->

-Thump thud thump-

<Ack- Hey! Put those down- Ow!>

-Thud!-

Blitz: Seriously, Mondo, did you let someone into my room in the middle of the night?!-

-He tried to get up, but what ever was keeping him from getting his pillow keep him from stretching his legs out, or really doing anything that you couldn't describe as being curled up in a ball-

..Wait a sec...

Blitz's Room

-The boy was out of bed, then started freaking out for apparently no reason when Mondo tried to say good morning and started throwing the pillow and his shoes at the Clefairy, then jumped out of bed and faceplanted before scrambling to his feet-

-The painted egg currently propped up on a chair with some towels and spare blankets bounced and wriggled as the noise in the room increased-

-Mondo tried to corner Blitz as he awkwardly scrambled from one corner of the room to the other-

-The egg bounced again, then cracked, and flopped over, and bounced and cracked more until finally a two-clawed foot broke through it's shell, followed by another-

-A black head with a red feather over it's left ear finally emerged from the crumbling shell, just in time to watch the boy making all the racket discover Mondo left the bedroom door ajar and dash down the hall, barefooted and still wearing a set of light blue pajamas with a froakie sitting on a lillypad printed on the shirt.-

Mondo: <Blitz! Get back here and stop freaking out before I GIVE you something to freak out about!>

-The freshly hatched sneasel blinked in shock as Mondo charged out the room-

-beat-

Blitz: What, the, hell?!

Noelle: No, no, I've figured out everything. This is so much bigger than staffs. Come on, let me show you.

Lily: Huh? Look, fairy girl, the whole point of us trying to get into the temple is so that Pianis can get that staff he needs.

Jenna: And honestly, you shouldn't be helping him.

Noelle: But that's just it! I've found out a way you can get into the temple! Into anywhere! Come on, this way!

-Noelle starts running toward the gym, and the other three follow-

Noelle: 12 hours. If my calculations are correct, this should send you flying into a parallel universe where there should be the same environment, but invisible and there are no entities there. Then once you're in that universe, you use your built-up speed to fly into the temple and do the same thing on its staircase, and then you'll reappear in our universe, except you'll be inside the temple. Now once you're inside, the event flag should trigger and the guard will disappear. Then we can skip to the bottom floor with—

Pianis: Wait, what? We don't have 12 hours.

Noelle: Sure we do! Time is just an illusion, after all. Now get jumping!

-that note fills you with DETERMINATION-
