-Cid looks through his contacts. Several of their faces are crossed out, with notes taken next to them to denote their status. Several have the notes "Gone Dark" and "Arrested". One has "Undercover Cop". Another just has "Missing". Titan's has "Retired". The only faces that aren't crossed out have question marks, denoting that the contacts have been cold for some time.-

Cid: Hm. This is getting more and more difficult. I'm going to need to start reaching... even if that means the possibility of Darien catching wind of my new location.

-Cid leans back in his chair. He scratches his chin, feeling the stubble, before realizing that he had not gotten any sleep in the last... day? Two days? It was getting hard to tell. Cid turns off the lights and lies on his cot. An hour or two nap should help him concentrate.-

Sholto: <True, yeah.>

<Rare that they try joining a Murkrow's rather than a Honchkrow's, though.>

-Whenever people get here, they might notice Elizabeth talking with a Luxray-

Luxray: <What do you mean I can't make a contract? I've had nothing to do for months and I'm boooored!>

Elizabeth: <Unfortunately, the ability to form contracts has been discontinued. If you have not already formed one, it is best to resign yourself to languishing in boredom here for a period of no less than five, and potentially 16 weeks. My apologies.>

-Lane is here, headtilting at the shenanigans-

Meanwhile at the docks in Canalave city...

-It was supposed to be an nice normal day for the workers at the docks that day, but that all went to heck as soon as Ark and Co. dashed out of the storage bay. Crates and people were knocked over all over as the group fled with reckless abandon.-

Ark:<Where are we?! What is this place!? So many humans!!!!>

-Ark is visibly distressed and breathing heavily-

Kiaran: <H-hey, little sister, it's alright... we're with you.>

Barclay: <Along with around 20ish confused and panicking humans currently chasing after us.>

-Kiaran glares at Barclay along with Ralli, although the latter is far more occupied with dragging Verigan along by his tail.-

Verigan: Leteth me at them- ow Ralli, cease biting mine tail! It really hurts!

-Ralli mumbles something that sounds vaguely like 'Arceus, no.'-

-SleepyHead enters the room-

-She spots the Luxray and quickly realizes who she is-

-The Luxray hears her name and turns to look at the Hypno-

-A late teen-ish boy with brown hair and pink-ish red eyes is wandering around looking at a map-

Blitz: "Hmm... Where's that library supposed to be again?"

-A natu sitting on the shoulder of his green coat chirp curiously-

Down: <Why are you suddenly interested in a library?>

Blitz: "I heard this one had some information on legendaries... And given the whole Mew thing, I figure doing some research for once wouldn't hurt any"

-He looks up from the map to see the ruckus going on near by-

"What?"

-Or possibly headed their way-

Jacob: "... Who?"

Margaret: -Looks over at Foudre- <Like we have explained, you are not able to make a contract because of your unique ties to an unfortunate fate. You are free to remain here, in the Velvet room. Nothing happens here by accident. But as far as leaving it... I am afraid in your current state you cannot.>

Verax: "Yeah I don't understand any of that."

Jacob: -Thinking- "... Wait, where you involved with the whole Dreamtime Online stuff?"

Cass:<Well, ya had ta prove it to Duche Bella. Impress her. Do some big job, stuff like that.>

Jane:<Duche?>

Cass:<My...old boss...>

-Ark and co. continue running, also continuing knocking over crates, people, and anything in their way over. Ark only took one look at the stairs leading to the rest of the city before running past them. It was not long before they reached the end of the dock. Ark and co ducked behind a pile of crates.-

Ark: <Kiaran, make an illusion of one of these... boxes to hide us!>

-Suddenly a crate appeared where Ark and co were. The illusion was up, but Ark knew they couldn't hide there forever. She needed a plan, fast.-

Elizabeth: <Sadly, not even the contract of a reality warping Dunsparce amalgamation would be possible for you like this.>

Foudre: <Hm...>

-to Jacob- <I don't even know. I just followed a black door, a mask latched on to me and when I tried to get it off... it got kind of fuzzy, but I ended up in a room with nothing to do and it was horrible!>

SleepyHead: -to Jacob- <Dreamtime Online? Is that the reason you and a bunch of others fell asleep in the HQ?>

"...Can you use a lot of Mist?"

Rumba: <Uh, okay?>

-She starts making a Mist, which might obscure the vision of those present-

Jacob: -Nods to Foudre- "Yeah, okay. No wonder we didn't see you. I... suppose this might be what happens if we..." -He swallows and thinks, then turns to SleepyHead, nodding- "Yeah."

Margaret: -Nodding- <Your fate in another realm of the collective unconscious binds you. For our guests also mingling in this, your contract here is strong enough that you would be able to explore other parts of the collective unconscious with your allies, though you would be trapped here as well. It is not strong enough to protect you should you meet an unfortunate fate, but it you will be able to carry out your contract here all the same.>

Sergey and by extension the following swarm is cloaked in thick fog.

After a while Sergey emerged one or two stings but otherwise fine. From inside the mist an angry humming could be heard as the Pokémon tried to find Sergey again.

Aicha (still under his arm): <That was a funny experience being carried around like that.>

Magnus (on his own): <You...>

Sergey (heavily panting): "Thanks *pant* Aicha *pant* Magnus *pant* chase *pant* nest *pant* attack *pant* followed *pant* Jubilife *pant*"

-Blitz followed the commotion to the docks, it looked like most of the people involved in the chase had lost sight of whoever they were chasing. Though he was pretty sure he saw someone head over this way, but all there was at the end of the docks were boxes and water-

Down: <Do you think they dived in the water?>

Blitz: "Maybe... Swimming could be a good escape route"

-He scratched his head and looked around for someone trying to swim away

"I just wonder what all that was about"

Sergey panted as Mirielle came out of her Premierball.

Cue him collapsing onto a nearby bank.

Mireille: <You've got to forgive him, he did run from Jubilife to here because someone> -she gave a deathly glare at Aicha and Magnus- <hit a nest full of Beedrills and Combees.>
