Margaret: -Steps out ahead of the group, not bothering with glasses-

-As more people exit, the landscape becomes clear but... clear is a poor word to describe it-

-The area looks like the courtyard of a university, but the buildings, constructed from some brown-steel gray brick, windows blackened, are all twisted and distorted, rising up into the green-black sky-

-The pavement is jagged and juts out in odd directions, and the trees lining the walkways twist around like helices and sideways, but blooming with vibrant red leaves-

Margaret: <We will use this quiet section of the sea of consciousness to demonstrate how to use your Persona.>

Jacob: "... I swear I've had a nightmare like this."

Verax: "I think you can say that about everything we'll see here."

Margaret: <Once you are all assembled, Theo will call forth some basic opponents for you.> -She smiles a small, amused smile as she flips through her book-

for the tutorial battle there will be three groups each with their own GM. I will be the GM of Pent, Sky, Daydre, and Newf. Crow will GM for Feltcha, Silent, and Moon. Verax will GM Dune, Blitz, and Dogs.

-Theo closes the door behind the last member of the group, the blue Door disappears.-

-Mendel fiddles with his new googles.-

Mendel: Ugh. Why does this fog have to be so thick? I can barely make out anything.

-Mendel finally get his goggles on poperly.-

Mendel: Whoa! That's different - and soo clear!

-Mendel flips between his googles on and off his head a few times.-

Ren: -to Joseph- Something tells me that it won't be cool for long.

Mendel: This is freaky and amazing.

Theo: -a card appearing in his hand- Sister. I will remain on standy to ensure or Guests' saftey if you will give them the instructions they need.-

-The pages of Theo's glow as the gallade swipes the air horizontally causing the carde to shatter.-

Theo: Persona!

-A extremely large silver clockwork Gallade with Pidgeot wings on its back and wearing and evergreen sash appears above Theo. Metatron. The Messenger of God.-

-A faint slithering noise can probably be heard by the more astute members of the group.-

-The Scolipede yelps as its feet are shot at, and recoils. It tries to use Rollout on the group... but after one roll, its faceplate stays weighted down on the ground, leaving it prone upside-down and vulnerable.-

Samus: <Almost hate to do this, but it's just gonna keep suffering until we put it out of its misery.>

-She fires an Ancient Power. The Scolipede flails in a futile attempt to right itself.-

Margaret: -She nods to Theodore- <Gladly.>

-As the slithering sound gets louder- <Now, you will recall your Persona being bound to the card you had earlier. It is generally easier to call upon the card when under stress, say, as if your life were in mortal peril.>

<After you have manifested it, simply shatter it to free your Persona.> -She slams her book shut, crushing the card, and in a large whirlwind, a Scizor with Scyther arms appears, floating above her-

-At that moment, several piles of sludge like substance shlorp out of the building, rising off the ground to reveal themselves as Gastly with Gengar-sized mouths-

-Dune takes out his card and crushes it in his hand. Seiten Taisei springs from a cloud.-

Dune: Hah. That wasn't so hard.

Seiten Taisei: Perhaps that is because you always feel threatened around your fiance, eh? Hmhmhm.

-Galvani summons her card. She stares at it for a moment.-

Galvani: ... <Um...>

-She wiggles her magnets at it. The card remains undamaged.-

Galvani: <Grrrrr...>

-She smacks the card with a magnet. It continues to remain undamaged.-

Galvani: <GRR!>

-Galvani shoots a bolt of lightning at the card. It explodes, releasing the copper Ekans, Yurlungur.-

Dune: You... uh... may have a point there.

Courtyard

Joseph: Okaaaaay! Let's do this!~

-card gets taken out and crushed, and out comes Jiraiya!-

Joseph: Alright, disco froggie, let's see whatcha got!

Lane:W-Woah!

-He hears the explanation-

Summon it...and reach for the power within...-

-He closes his eyes...and soon enough the card materializes and floats spinning into his hand-

P...Pokesona! C'Mon, Decarabia!

-His eyes open wide◊ as he crushes the card-

Des held up his card.

"I summon the Blue-Eyes White Dragon the Matador! Release the PERSONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"

A Pawniard is now here, twirling it's cape, it's blade-arms glinting even with the lack of light.

-Ren and Mendel react immediately to the appearing enemies.-

-Izanagi's card appears slowly turning as it descends through the air. Ren catches the card on the handle of of his cane.-

Ren: Pokesona!

-Ren spins his cane upwards in his hand, the shaft shattering the card before the canes comes to rest against Ren's right shoulder as Izanagi appears in a battle-ready stance.-

-Mendel arms are crossed, holding his upper arms as his Sun card slowly turning as it descends through the air shopping about chest height.-

Mendel: Persona!

-Mendel quickly unfolds his arms, shattering his card as he moves his arms to a sitting position as Pythagoras forms around Mendel, protecting the young man.-

-The holo-display is alive with information that Mendel rapidly reads though and calls out vital intel.-

Mendel: Those things are called Slipping Hableries. They have Water and Ghost tying and have Unnerve as their ability. They are all weak, but in numbers like this... WATCH OUT!

-Groups of three Slipping Hableries break off From the group of enemies. These groups target Ren, Pent, Daydre, Lane, and Des with Lick.-

Daydre summons her card and crushes it with her hand, summoning Arahabaki.

"GAH" Daydre yells as she's licked.

How do I attack? Uh....

She attempts to have Arahabaki hit one of the Hableries with Drill Run.

-Orpheus spins into being from the falling fragments, looking slightly different from last time-

-He looks around before shugging and trying to impose his will on the summoned being-
