Kieran: Not... not really? I dunno, I don't feel like I'm missing part of myself or anything, nothing she needs to be with me for.

-Brie sends out Skyfire and Whirlygig-

Skyfire: <Whirlygig, hop on.>

Whirlygig: <Ugh.>

-even so, she climbs onto Skyfire's back as Skyfire takes off-

Skyfire: <I won't let you drag Brie along for this! It's too dangerous!>

Baccarat: <So am I, darling~>

-Skyfire launches a Flamethrower, and Baccarat does a barrel roll to evade it-

Baccarat: <♩~But you miss so much you really might as well be fighting air~♩>

Skyfire: <Whirlygig, now!>

-Whirlygig leaps off Skyfire's back, while Skyfire uses Heat Wave. The resulting wind launches Whirlygig forwards incredibly fast, as Whirlygig extends her claws in an attempt to Guillotine Baccarat-

Whirlygig: <This is what happens when you make somemon listen to you sing! TAKE NOTE, TARA!>

-but her claws close on nothing, and she looks up to find Baccarat hovering above her, having easily looped around-

Baccarat: <♩~It's really rather sad...~♩>

-Whirlygig goes into a power dive to try and avoid the ice, but it connects solidly, and she drops from the sky-

Skyfire: <Damn.>

-she uses Flare Blitz to accelerate towards Whirlygig- <Even so, you won't touch Brie!>

Baccarat: <I don't need to, not when I can hurt her through you.>

-Baccarat grins, and takes off, Skyfire pursuing and launching Flamethrowers. Baccarat easily wings her way around them as she climbs higher and higher-

Baccarat: <♩~ Don't bother with attacking, just save your breath! Luck's on my side as I bring your death! You've only made me mad!~♩>

-Baccarat makes a wide arc, and Skyfire turns to follow her...only to find herself facing head-on into the sun. She winces in the bright light-

Baccarat: <♩~ So fly up high and make a threat; play your part as Trainer's pet, but it's time that I bid you shalom! ~♩>

-and she dives down, crackling with electricity-

Baccarat: <♩~ Because all your little strategies are nothing to the power of, the power of the Metronome!~♩>

Battle Frontier, Forest

-All sends out Hallie and Current-

Hallie: <Hi again!>

Current: <Joy.>

Elysium: <Changing tactics, I see. It won't avail you.>

All: We'll see. Ice Beams!

-the two both fire, and Elysium leaps into the air. While they adjust their line of fire (or ice, as the case may be), Elysium somehow manages to perform a full flip, dodging the attacks by a hair as he drops from the sky to Jump Kick Current into the ground-

Elysium: <That's one.>

-Hallie twists, and Elysium ducks, before spinning around to kick sand into her eyes-

Hallie: <Hey! That's cheating!>

Elysium: <Some would argue that two against one is cheating.>

-he dashes forward and knocks out Hallie with a Horn Leech-

Elysium: <Fortunately, I can handle myself.>

Battle Frontier, clearing

Amanita: Okay, try these two on for size!

-she sends out Dart and Phobos-

Hygieia: <If you insist.>

-Phobos immediately flash steps to the shadow of a nearby tree, launching a Sludge Bomb, but Hygieia blocks it with an Egg Bomb-

Hygieia: <Now now, wait your turn. I'll get to you in just a moment. >

-continuing to evade Phobos's attacks without looking, Hygieia turns to Dart-

Dart: <Take this!>

-Dart aims a Power-up Punch at Hygieia, who blocks with a scalpel. The two exchange a rapid series of blows before Dart takes a step back, his hands covered in small cuts-

Dart: <You can't poison me, eggs.>

Hygieia: <I have no particular need to. Careful now. >

-she ducks, and a Sludge Bomb from Phobos sails past her, hitting Dart in the face. While it doesn't do much damage, it does obscure his vision long enough for Hygieia to reach out with a scalpel and slash open his venom sac-

Dart: <Hrk!>

-he clutches at his throat, gasping for breath-

Amanita: Dart! -recalls him-

Phobos: <...

...

...DART!>

-he flashsteps from shadow to shadow around the clearing, launching dozens of attacks towards Hygieia...-

-all of which are Shadow Balls, and phase through her harmlessly-

Hygieia: <Allowing anger to cloud your judgement can be dangerous. You may be suffering from brain damage. Allow me to examine you. >

-Hygieia takes a flashlight out of her pouch and shines it on the shadow occupied by Phobos, pinning him in place. He twitches in pain from the light-

Hygieia: <No, you do appear to be in passable health. For now...>

-she forms a Shadow Ball, but Phobos is recalled before she can fire-

Ever: Spathi, Ephemera, you two next!

-Ephemera forms a series of Double Team clones, while Spathi just charges-

Cornelia: <Hm.>

-she catches Spathi easily, and bodily hurls the Salamence aside, before charging Ephemera-

Ephemera: -N-

-and she pops her ears, creating a cone of force that flings Cornelia back. The Kraatasparce lands easily on her feet, through, and from her tail launches a twisting beam of energy that strikes the cone, shattering it-

Ephemera: <!!!>

Cornelia: <I can't say I think much of the look—>

PEFE!Every: Hey!

Cornelia: <But this armor is impressively equipped.>

Revy: Interesting fact; I got some information about the original Rahkshi from the grey one. Turns out they have some sort of weapon that affects emotions. Ramps up anger and fear and all that? So I set one up inside the armor after the grey one finished making it.

PEFE!Every: Wait, what?

Revy: Yep! Cornelia wasn't too thrilled about helping me bring back Revy and threaten all of you into compliance! But turns out that once you ramp up the anger and paranoia, she's willing to do just about whatever keeps her safe and snug in that armor there.

PEFE!Every: ...That's disgusting.

Revy: Hey, you gave me the idea. Not my fault I'm smarter than you.

-Cornelia, meanwhile, uses another blast of Shattering to raise a wall of grit in between herself and Spathi, and then turns to Ephemera-

Cornelia: <Stay down, kitten.>

-an arc of energy jumps between Cornelia's claws, and then gravity increases around Ephemera, slamming her to the ground and knocking her unconscious-

Ever: No... -recalls her, while Cornelia launches another blizzard at Spathi-

Jubilife - past

Blitz: "True, not like you can't go visit her if you feel like you need some family time."

-He shrugs at the failed joke-

"But still, she's apparently successfully chasing her dreams. Is there anything in particular you're working towards? Or just fixing the whole glitch thing for now?"

Pokécenter Battlegrounds - Past

Mireille: ~Contests are all about putting on the best show you possibly can with your Pokémon. Also multiple members of our group specialize in those, maybe they could help you - that last part was from me~

Sergey: "Putting on a good show? Doesn't sound like it would hurt my team, so that's a definite plus... I don't know if I'm any good but I could try when we're in Sinnoh, do you think I should?"

Fletcha: <Oh yeah now I remember... I think I met him randomly in Fortree. Heh, that was quite a while ago...>

Brandon: -to Sergey- <It wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, you could enter one and see how it goes, see if it's something you could see you and your team pursuing further.>

Kieran: Honestly, I'm not sure. All I've got is the glitch stuff so far...

Battle Frontier, Sky

-Skyfire braces for impact, and finds that it hasn't come-

-she opens her eyes to find bright white in front of her-

Skyfire: Is this the afterlife...?

-but then the glow fades, and Skyfire realizes it's just the glow of a Dragonair evolving into a Dragonite-

Atlantis: <You are not...hurting...SKYFIRE!>

-and she shoves Baccarat away, before nearly dropping out of the sky. Wings are new, and she's exhausted, both from evolving and from taking a Bolt Strike head-on-

Skyfire: <Atlantis! You evolved...>

Atlantis: <Finally, right? Are you okay? Did you get hurt?>

Skyfire: <Did you get hurt? You took a Bolt Strike head-on!>

Atlantis: <That's not what's important here!>

Skyfire: <Yes, it is!>

Atlantis: <I need you alive, Skyfire!>

Skyfire: <And I need you alive!>

-there's a pause. It's abruptly broken by Baccarat's return-

Baccarat: <Isn't this cute? Here, I'll settle things for you.>

-her patented Togekiss smile turns hideous-

Baccarat: <I'll kill you both! And then neither of you will be alive to mourn the other!>

Battle Frontier, Forest

-All has sent out Slick and Mako. A rainstorm has started up-

Elysium: <I'm half plant. I enjoy the rain.>

All: Me too. Shouldn't I die in comfort?

Elysium: <Weren't you listening? I'm not going to hurt you. Physically, anyway.>

All: If you want to hurt my team, you're going to have to.

Elysium: <Well, if you insist.>

-Elysium charges. Both Slick and Mako intercept, but are easily kicked aside-

Elysium: <A few broken ribs should be an adequate lesson, don't you think?>

Hygieia: <Data suggests that you will use two more Pokemon. Please do so. >

Amanita: What's the use...she's too powerful. I can't believe I'm actually saying that about a glorified egg, but if this keeps up, someone's going to get hurt worse than Dart or Ares already has. It's just all those gadgets she keeps on hand...

-Amanita pauses for a moment, and then sends out Thorn and Dinacia-

Amanita: <Be careful, you two. This is serious.

Thorn: <A Blissey is a threat to us all of a sudden? Please.>

-Thorn hops forward, opening his flowers to fire a Sludge Bomb-

Hygieia: <While flowers can be of some comfort to a sick patient, in the operating room they are a nuisance and a hazard. Please remove them.>

-she takes a small canister from her pouch, and blasts Thorn with liquid nitrogen. He screams-

Amanita: O_O -recalls Thorn, as Hygieia turns on Dinacia-

Hygieia: <Just one left, and then I'll be done for the day. Isn't that nice? >

Ever: You are literally the worst human being I have ever met.

Revy: Exciting. I love setting records. Cornelia, if he doesn't send out another Pokemon within 30 seconds, break his legs, then break the girl's fingers.

PEFE!Every: Seriously? I built you a robot.

Revy: I need to threaten someone besides just him. It's nothing personal.

Ever: Ugh... -sends out Breeze and Diesel- You guys ready?

Breeze: <...No. Is no an option?>

Diesel: <I'd be shocked. Come on, Breeze, let's do this.>

Mireille: ~Brandon says we should just give it a shot, maybe we like it.~

Baccarat: <Please. Watch this.> -she wags her wings-

Halcyon: <Your face reminds me of—>

Baccarat: <You look like someone started painting you and forgot to finish!>

Halcyon: <Admittedly, that does make me very angry...>

Halcyon?: <-the last slice of bread. Because nobody wants it. Apologies. I am not very good at the whole Taunting thing.>

Halcyon: <But it is very hard to Taunt a recording.>

-he pulls out Brie's X-Transceiver-

Baccarat: <...

I'LL KILL YOU!>

-Baccarat's eyes flash, and she uses Extremespeed, striking Halcyon over and over-

Baccarat: <I DON'T NEED METRONOME TO WIPE YOU OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH, YOU JUMPED-UP PETROGLYPH!>

Skyfire and Atlantis: <Halcyon!>

-as Halcyon drifts back to the ground, unconscious, Baccarat wheels on the two dragons again-

Baccarat: <That was fun, wasn't it? Now for you two.>

-she waves her wings-

Baccarat: <...What?>

Atlantis: <...What?>

Skyfire: <...What?>

-Baccarat turns pale(r than usual)-

Baccarat: <...No. No. This can't be happening.>

-she wags her wings again, and this time sends down a Heal Pulse to Halcyon-

Halcyon: <You always talk about how you put your faith in luck, and it works out for you. But what happens if you lose faith?>

Baccarat: <No! NO!>

-she begins screaming at the sky- <IT WASN'T MY FAULT! THE BIRD USED TAUNT! IT WASN'T MY FAULT! PLEASE JUST LET ME PROVE MYSELF!>

Baccarat: <NO! IT WASN'T MY FA—>

Skyfire: <...Well. That was terrifying.>

Atlantis: <...Yeah.>

-another pause-

-and the two kiss-

Halcyon: <...I'll just go report our victory, shall I?>

-as Elysium charges, an Ice Beam comes from nowhere-

Elysium: <Please. You can't hit me.>

-he ducks...and the wake of the beam freezes the water droplets still on him and on the ground, holding him fast-

All: Thanks, Ramiel. You've always got my back.

-Ramiel floats out of the trees-

Elysium: <...You had a seventh Pokemon? That's cheating!>

All: I mean, you were trying to kill me.

Elysium: <Nngh!>

All: Ramiel, finish this.

-and Ramiel knocks Elysium unconscious with another Ice Beam-

Battle Frontier, Clearing

-Dinacia lumbers towards Hygieia-

Hygieia: <Hmm. You're a bit too tough for my scalpels, but I'm sure I can think of some way to hurt you.>

Dinacia: <Let me ask you a question. On this team are children. Young ones. If they were sent to battle you, would you hurt them?>

Hygieia: <Pediatric practices are functionally identical. I might hand out lollipops after though. >

Dinacia: <Ah. Then I have no problem doing this.>

-Hygieia easily dodges, of course- <What did you think that that would accomplish, hmm?>

Dinacia: <This.>

-and the electricity from the punch sparks off, striking every single one of Hygieia's many scalpels, electronic devices, and other metal objects-

Hygieia: <...Call it.>

-and faints-

Dinacia: <Time is confusing.>

-Diesel and Breeze are now dueling Cornelia. Breeze is locked in a psychic struggling, while Diesel is doing his best to protect both Breeze and himself from Cornelia's claws-

Revy: Give up, Ever! Join me, and we can do something great!

Ever: Yeah, greatly bad maybe!

Revy: That was terrible.

Ever: SO ARE YOU!

Revy: I'm a visonary! I wish I could make you see that, but I'll settle for your unwilling cooperation! Cornelia, stop fooling around and kill them!

Cornelia: <Right.>

-Cornelia's claws start to flicker, and Ever notices an interesting effect in the air around them, as though the bonds between atoms of the air were being disrupted-

Cornelia: <Time to die.>

-and then a Flamethrower and Ice Beam strike the armor from above-

Cornelia: <Nnngh!>

-followed by a Scald from the side-

Cornelia: <Argh!>

-and then a Thunderpunch from the other side-

Cornelia: <AUGH!>

-her attack disrupted and her suit damaged, Cornelia stands there, swaying vaguely-

Ever: Right then. Diesel, Breeze, finish this! Hyper Beam and Giga Impact!

Breeze: <Oh, I love doing this.>

Diesel: <Yep. Me too.>

-Breeze's eyes flash, and every speck of matter within twenty feet is accelerated to a respectable fraction of lightspeed, shattering most of the armor-

-followed by Diesel bringing a pair of ten-foot energy blades down on what remains-

-there's a tremendous boom-

-and when the dust fades, there is one very small Dunsparce lying amid the wreckage of the suit-

-she dials a number. There's a small sonic boom, Ever yelps, and Ruby Rose appears-

Ruby Rose: <Oh hey!>

Brie: Hi again! How's it been?

Ruby Rose: <I fought the Elite 4!>

Brie: How'd they take that?

Ruby Rose: <I think they were a little surprised. But don't worry, I kept up my human disguise.>

Brie: ...Well. That would definitely surprise them, then.

Ruby Rose: <Yep. Anyway, did you need something? Most of your team has left Hoenn, and you know I can't come with you when you do, right?>

Brie: Well, we just fought these guys...and, uh, they're nuts. Do Latii have some kind of prison?

Ruby Rose: <Oh! Yep!>

Ever: Hold up. Didn't Muninn break out of Latii prison?

Ruby Rose: <Yeah, but a human and a handful of mons aren't about to. Well, it's been real, guys!>

-she scoops up Revy and co and flies away-

PEFE!Every: Well, I'm returning to HQ, so...Rotary?

-a Claydol appears, grabs PEFE!Every, and vanishes-

Ever: ...Well.

Amanita: Everyone's in Sinnoh? That's not so far, is it?

Ever: Nope. And I have an idea.

All: Does it involve flying together again? Because if it does I'm going back to wanting you dead.

Ever: Actually, it involves pointing out to Steven that I definitely probably saved his life and he owes me a ride.

-the four land here-

Ever: Huh. Who knew Aggron could hit things so far?

All: Fortunately the snow cushioned us.

Ever: Yep. Well, here's to teamwork?

All: Sure.

Brie: Yep!

Amanita: Absolutely!

-they all eat a handful of snow by way of toast-

Ever: ....Okay now let's go do other things.

Jacob: -Strolls by the sisters, wearing a brand new pair of pants and wearing his gold heart necklace- "I think he went off to Sinnoh ahead of us."

This is one of our training modules, where my mons and sometimes humans keep in shape when there's absolutely nothing going on.

Sakura is trying to her best to stifle laughter "I don't know whether I should laugh, pfft... Or if I should feel insulted." she then covers her mouth as she begins to snicker

"Man if seeing Hikari was enough to make your pants catch on fire then I can only wonder what will happen once you see her nude." joked Lyuri, similarly trying to hold back from laughing
