Jacob: -Shrugs- "I personally don't think Duke would be much more terrifying than he potentially is already to me. Yes, he's big, he's strong, he's an Auric, and he looks intimidating. But he's also really good at heart. He's not the kind of person who would drop all his morals or sink too low."

They might regret it later, but hurting others during a brief fit of rage is entirely possible no matter how good of a person you are. Jacob: -Smiles softly and rests his face on his hand- "Oh I'm not debating that. I'm just saying some people have intrinsic lines and rules they won't break, even under pressure or from anger. Especially from anger, when people aren't thinking. Some people I think would not be capable of killing or particularly malicious acts while angry, but could when calm because they could rationalize it as an exception worth taking. Which is why I'm not afraid of Duke. I don't think someone like him could unconsciously cross that line he sets. He'd hold himself back. And even if he did, I don't think it'd be bad as what some other people are capable of."

"I guess to sum up my thoughts, even if he were angry, I don't think he'd ever be vicious or heartless."

"It would all depend on how much the offense ticked him off. Anger comes in various levels after all. Nonetheless, I'm not as familiar with him as any of you here, so I'll refrain from continuing this debate. The only way to know it for sure would be to see it happen and I doubt any of us want to see something like that."

"You would need to do something truly heinous to someone he really cares about for Duke to get that angry." Hikari then glanced at Sarah "By the way, he's your teacher now, right? Are you having fun?" she smiled

"Yeah. Right now I'm just here while everybody is working towards something." she sighed.

Jacob: -Reclines back into his chair, folds his arms for a moment, tapping his foot, and then presses his finger tips together and rests them on his nose, and as he looks up end up resting on his lips-

"A shame. I had hoped to continue debating it. It's been too long since I've had a full logical debate with someone. You obviously believe that circumstances and enough anger are enough for someone to break all their personal rules. I disagree. Just in general. I feel some people are too strong willed to ever break their own rules, even if something has pushed them over the horizon line."

-He closes his eyes- "Then again since I am not overly emotional and don't handle anger or hatred typically with physical violence I would doubt my theoretical thoughts matter too much."

"People are complicated. Even though you know him better than me, there's still things you just won't be able to know. He might be the kind of person that bottles up all of his bad feelings and has done that for years and when those feelings are let loose, he loses control and things get ugly. Or he could be just a very calm person who truly doesn't get upset with offenses done towards him and his friends, or maybe he just pretends it doesn't. There are many variables and the only one who knows which one is truly right is him." Marie sighed "Either way, I myself would prefer to move into a more pleasant topic."

"Is he? Has he taught you how to do cool Aura stuff yet?" asked Hikari, looking almost excited.

Sarah: Yep! It's not something I can really demonstrate, though.

-She frowns slightly-

Sarah: Well, I can, but it'd be unpleasant for at least one of you three.

Jacob: "Does he though? Not questioning I don't know everything about him, but you still avoid the points I make." -He muses, eyes still closed-

-His gaze then shifts to Sarah- "Auric? Hm. So many now-a-days. I think I made the right choice changing the Trinity Mirror to personal self-defense."

-He lowers his arms and rests one on Bakuya-

So long as I have both these with me I should be safer from people like Leng. Ideally I'll still crush them with my Pokemon but... never hurts to be prepared. That divine protective energy it exudes is... helpful.
