-The now Mega Evolved Salamence burst out of the cocoon with a roar, with it's high stats ready to take anything an opponent could throw at it.

Ren: -in thought, with a slight smile I think we've gone past show time...
Drake: Earthquake!
Mega Salamence: <Roger, Captain. Engaging bogie now.>
-With a loud whoosh, The Mega Salamence takes to the air before it realizes that loud whooshing sound wasn't him but the energy of Kitsune's attack as it finished charging.
Ren: Kitsune... It's party time.
-With loud rushing boom, Kitsune fires off her buffed barrage of energy constructs.-

-Drake blinks at Kitsune as he recalls his Kingdra-

-But, despite his complaints, his tail is cloaked with water has he does his best to hit Kitsune, who honestly was expecting the counterattack hand is hit for Heavy damage.-

-As Ren and Kitsune walk out of Drake's room, they enter a long, extremely tall room on a pure white stone elevated bridge running the entire length of the room. The room's walls seem to be made of some sort of shiny black and dark-gray stones and/or metals. The room's floor is so far below the bridge it's obscured by shadows, and Ren can barely make out the ceiling. But more than anything else in the room that catches Ren's and Kitsune's eyes are the two colossal metal doors with a Poke ball insignia engraved into them at the opposite end of the bridge.-Ren: -whistles his amazement- This is impressive.
Kitsune: <For once this trip, I think you're justified saying that.>
Ren: So the question now is "Steven, or Wallace?".
Kitsune: <Either way I know you can do it. You have us, remember?>
Ren: Right. I guess it's time to make final preparations
-Ren calls out the his current team to give them new items and to give them a pep talk.-
Dirus: <Hmph. I see we've finally gotten here. I suppose there was a reason you didn't choose me against the last four?>
Baleno: <Oh hush, you grump! Don't complain, this is awesome!>
-Baleno's cheeks spark and flash as he gets excited.-
Ren: -to Dirus and Baleno- Thanks for waiting it out. You two may be the least trained here, but you to re vital to the success of my strategies, so I need you both to be as alert and nimble as possible to prevent you from taking too much damage.
-Ren gives Baleno and Dirus each an Expert Belt, tying them around Baleno's waist and around Dirus' main neck.-
Ren: -to Pierre- Even if we fight Wallace again, we'll be at a disadvantage, as he knows our style from before. Hence I need you to not actively engage the opponent unless it's asleep. I'll decide the offensive move to use with this as needed. I'll trust your judgment on how you choose to move.
-Ren straps the belt holding the Metronome Kitsune used in the last battle to Pierre's waist.-
Pierre: <I'll be sure to say something if I need relief.>
Ren: Good.
-Ren turns to Gamma placing a Pair of Choice Specs on his Porygon-Z's Face.-
Ren: -to Gamma- Gamma, I'm going to have you disrupt the actions of an offensive target of my choice with Trick. Please be ready for anything.
Gamma: <Affirmative, Master Ren!>
-Ren turns to Rio, placing Rio's armlet inset with his Lucarionite on Rio's right arm.-
Ren: Rio, you'll be my primary offensive force. Do not let me make you use more than two status moves.
Rio: <Understood.>
-Ren finally turns back to Kitsune.-
Ren: -puts on a worried expression as he's unable to find an encouraging way to say that Kitsune would be at a disadvantage against most of both Steven's and Wallace's teams-
Kitsune: <Ren. In case you didn't already know, I have been by your side enough to know when you're worried about going against types that we can't easily trump.>
-Dirus rolls his eyes at the scene as Baleno chuckles at Kitsune scolding Ren as Rio, Gamma, and Pierre have "Here we go again" expressions.-
Ren: -blinks-
Kitsune: <*sigh* Just give me my Wide Lens and focus on ensuring you stay focused so you can revise plans as needed!>
-Kitsune uses her weak telekinesis to take the headpiece in Ren's hands and attaches it over her left eye and ear.-
Kitsune: <Now say what you usually say at a time like this and let's go!>
Ren: -composing himself under Kitsune's gaze- Right. *ahem* Okay everyone, Its show time!
-Ren recalls everyone but Kitsune. As the two begin to cross the bridge, the pair blinks in surprise fir the briefest of moments as the two doors open in time with their progression, revealing what looks like nothing but pure white light beyond the doors' frame. With a final deep breath the pair enter the Champion's room as the Doors slam behind them.-

Rey Veneno makes sure his drums and percussion instruments are in order. Zorro grins as he holds a microphone and wears a pair of Dark Glasses. Florea is standing in front of Seamstress and Christine, all three wearing blue and yellow sashes around their waists and microphone headsets.-
Keys: <Okay! On my cue!>
-Keys' usb-drive key glows.-

-Ren enter the octagonal room he sees the well dress man with his back to Ren standing on a raised portion with stairs leading down to the floor. Sensing Ren and Kitsune's entrance, the man turns.-Steven: Ah! Renard Clavis! Or should I say "Ren of the J-Team"? A pleasure to finally meet you! I've heard a bit about you from my father and more from Wallace. Attempting to Follow in Wallace's steps?
Ren: Either is fine, but I'm following Ruby's steps rather than Wallace's.
Steven: Ah. Still it's always good to have a something to shoot for.
-Steven smiles as he descends the steps.-
Steven: Although my guess is that you're currently aiming for the Hall of Fame?
Ren: -nods- Correct... uh... Champion? Steven? Mr. Stone?
Steven: Steven is fine, Renard.
Ren: -nodding- Thank you Steven. Then I'd like to formally challenge you Steven, for the honor of entering the Hoenn Hall of Fame.
Steven: Very well. As Champion I accept your challenge... but before we start, I think there's some flashing several colors in you left bag.
