Lucius: Oh, erm... right. Well, you can, er, keep doing that. If you want.
He starts rummaging around in his bag to divert attention away from his awkwardness.
Lucius: I... wasn't sure what to get you, honestly. I can't do the Obscura silk thing, or else I probably would've made something with that. You don't like swords or weapons or anything combat-y, so that was out. So for a while I was considering not getting anything at all and just taking you out for ice cream or the like.
He stops and rubs the back of his neck.
Lucius: But then I remembered that all I gave you last year was a photo, so I figured I was under an obligation to get something less lame this lame around. So, uh... yeah. Here it is.
He pulls a fist-shaped lump of brown wrapping paper out of the bag and hands it to Sarah.

Sarah: Oh, but it was more than just a photo, though. It was a Clear Bell locket, and a really beautiful one too. Trust me, it wasn't lame at all, it was great!

Inside the paper is a rose-coloured pendant in the shape of a Gracidea flower. However, the eye of the flower has been replaced with a deep red gem that appears to glow softly in the sunlight.
Lucius: Well, uh... I guess you could say I stuck with that same theme.
He gives a nervous smile.
Lucius: Maul added the Fighting Gem. I didn't ask where he found it. Kirk did some messing around with it too. Apparently it can be infused with Auric energy, so it acts kinda like a rechargeable battery? I dunno, that's what he told me, and I kinda tuned out all the magitech bits. Aura seems a lot more complicated now that I can't use it. Anyway, it should provide a bit of a boost for when you get the hang of things. Or if you don't then hopefully it works as a general "looking nice" kinda deal. Er, not that you need help with that either or anything.

Lucius: You don't have to say that. I just figured I ought to do something to make your birthday a little brighter, given some of the stuff that's going on right now.

-The Magby waddles up to Phosphora and sits down next to her.-

-Phosphora takes the opportunity to give an appreciative smile.-
Phosphora: That's my mom. She's the one that made my holocaster.
Seeth: *Sniff* <She's pretty.>

-Seeth sniffs a bit more before speaking again.-
