Shun: Hrm. You're worth keeping an eye on, that's for certain. Good day for now, Miss Amarin.

He tips his cap and starts heading back towards the Pokemon Center.

Maria's Quarters

Maria emits a very distinctive Noblewoman's Laugh.

Maria: The atmosphere has actually been quite cordial here, darling! We in the upper echelons get along, even if I have my grievances as of late and the runts at the rungs do what they're told or otherwise-

Maria is cut off by a loud yelp.

Maria: Oh! That reminds me! You're men are getting a bit sloppy lately, normally I'm appreciative the games of cat and mouse and spy versus spy. But you boys were poking around where they shouldn't be and not even hiding the fact. That and we've made it increasingly harder to actually infiltrate the place with the new state-of-the-art security system.

Another pained cry can be heard.

Maria: Sorry dear, company rules. Now how is life treating you in the rut of Neo-Illusion?

Mossdeep

Jack: They look way too 90s for me.

Mossdeep

Jason:Oi, I was born in the 90s :P

-He chuckles-

Well, I should be getting on. Nice meeting you Jack.

Mossdeep

Jack: And I wasn't?

And yeah, see ya.

-At least a short trip to refresh their teams-

Tori: -Is staring at the shiny new badge-

Mathilde swears vigorously. "Sorry, that was uncouth of me. I'm not mad at you, Maria dahling, of course, it is obvious I need to hire better help. I'm glad to hear that they're treating you ok, I do very much miss our talks. Neo-illusion has been treating me about as well as we expected, Alys is driving me crazier, you know how it goes."

Mossdeep

-Lane chuckles-

Lane:Feels kinda good...earning one of those, huh...

-He smiles~

Tori: "Oh, uh... Yeah."

"I didn't think I'd get one of these today... Pretty cool"

-She turns the badge in her hand-

Maria: Don't worry dear. You've said nothing I haven't heard before, Connie on a bad day or trip has said much, much worse!

And I must admit, I cannot say things have all be sunshine and Infinite Energy over her for me either. One of the superiors is starting to grind my gears to the point where I'm burning my hair in my coiling iron! BURNING! I never do that!

Mathilde chuckles. "I can imagine. It's Odin, isn't it? Odin seems like the type that would get on your nerves."

Neo-Flare

Maria: It is dear. It is! He's been getting his way and schmoozing what he wants because he just so happens to be Constantin's first cousin. And the only known living relative to actually not treat him like a sack of crap.

Connie may have all this bluster, but he's a sucker for genuine affection.

Maria finishes her last coil, and sports a pony tail of perfect royal ringlets.

Maria: I would love to talk more, but I'm afraid that a phone conversation is not the most private of methods - especially considering our occupations Schatzi - would you like to continue it over tea?

Mathilde smiles. "Of course dahling, I'd love to catch up over tea. Tell you what, if you're a gracious hostess, and have an appropriate tea and assortment of snacks, I might even "forget" to liberate one of my screwups from you, how does that sound?"

Tori: "I guess for a first gym battle it went pretty good"

-She chuckles-

"Thanks... So, about that Ice cream?"

Maria: Oh ho ho! You drive a hard bargain, Mathilde m'dear~ Of course, while choosing a pet is the easy part, keeping one is a bit more up in the air since everything has to go by old Cons first. You know him, he's very particular and shady-eyed about double crossers.

Takes a spy to know a spy after all~

Lane:It'll be my treat.

-He smiles, gives her a quick kiss, and leads on to the parlor-

Mathilde laughs. "Oh, of course, dahling. Oh, do give him my best, will you? Even though he's a coffee drinking heathen, I did much enjoy our few conversations." She checks her calendar. "I'm free about 4 o'clock tomorrow, does that work for you?"

Hmm...it doesn't necessarily seem like the worst thing we've faced, but it's hardly good. At least I've built up a tolerance for absurdity...

Maria: That sounds positively wonderful, dear!

Maria leans back

Maria: Qandisa, dear. Mark "4 PM, tomorrow" on my calender.

The Jynx nods before forming an icicle pulling out Maria's planned and stabbing it repeatedly.

Maria: I shall meet you there, Liebling~
