Shade and Jiraiya pick up the pace just a bit.

Shade turns to his Greninja and nods. Before Jack realizes, Shade and Jiraiya have significantly picked up the pace.

"Hmm, we didn't move that fast did we my friend?"
<I don't think so, I turned around a bit after we sped up, and he was still running along with us fine....>
"Hmm, Jack was nimble."
<Jack was quick>
"Jack couldn't handle... You know I got nothing."
Jiraiya face-pads.

Shade answers his phone by pressing his headphones.

Shade laughs.
"Funny, if you turn around you might see us waving at you from a tree."
Shade is indeed hiding I'm one of the park trees, with Jiraiya hanging from a branch.
They both wave to Jack.

<Its not my fault, he did say tower.>

Shade and Jiraiya both facepalm.

<Let's move before imitation Jack turns.>

Shade pulls out his pokeball, and has his Greninja return. Shade the proceeds to dun his cloak, and move quickly enough to become a slight blur.
He sneaks up behind Jack.
"Hi Jack, lovely restaurant."

Jack: Huh? Oh, hi Shade.
Yeah, I haven't been here since I was six.
-Jack is dressed in much nicer clothes than when Shade last saw him-

Shade runs into the nearest bathroom and comes out wearing a black three piece suit with red highlights. He has swapped his headphones with an earpiece similar to that which the CIA use. He is also wearing a slimmer watch, and he has his hair gelled and tidy compared to the slight unkempt hat head.
"What do you think, my mom sent these over a bit ago after finding them in my dad's closet at home."

Lex, meanwhile, is working on that massive ominous generator thing that his guests were hiding behind earlier.
Lex: -Currently inside the machine tinkering at the cogs and wiring- Three steps forward, 6 steps back. Sheesh, making these things functional is hard enough - making them safer seems almost Sisyphusian.
Lex steps out of the machine and heads back towards the table, grabbing a rag and wiping off the sweat from brow, neck and collar. He squints and scowls at the musty old blueprints and notes in front of him.
Lex: Especially considering the only notes I have are these barely legible, coffee stained 30-year-old notes and blueprints to work from...
Lex sighs
Lex: But! At the very least, progress is being made. Though hopefully, the Leader doesn't mind the slower development process... You aren't exactly in his good books after finding out you haven't really been working on the allocated plans and developments...
He takes a swig at his cocoa.
Lex: You deserve a break Alexandre. You got that new "Brigoo" game for that Wii U you console you just bought, after all who doesn't love retro gaming?
He picks up his coat and slings it over his shoulder, taking another sip od the cocoa.
Lex: I'll think I'll do just that. Yeah, I've been working hard all day, plus you did a good deed and hid some Jerk-Team clods from getting hurt from pretty much all of your coworkers. So go, take your break, and enjoy that Pizza Sundae you's been keeping in the fridge for a special occasion! -To himself- Thank you me! :3

"Based on how you said they were talking about him, I would wager Aiki's current, or former trainer, not sure how that would work." He rubs his temples. "Ruby, Lockjaw, come with me." HE returns the others, calling the remaining two to follow him. "I have some questions for Aiki..."
<Go easy on him Max, I'm sure this is a hairy situation for him too, HA!>
