Gogie: "I... got startled, but nevermind why. It might be clearer later, though."

Maximillion was VERY familiar with the phrase 'You'll understand later', and so this didn't pacify him so much as let him know something was fishy.

"Alright, alright, I won't press. Just...wow though." Then, he began his mental conversation with Ruby. -"So, when we're done talking to this guy, I want Geist intangible, invisible and tracking him. I'll need you to keep me informed where he is and what he hears, and when we find out where he's staying, have Bram stake it out for the night."-

-<I thought you didn't like doing this kind of stuff anymore Maximillion?>- Her tone is more teasing then upset or worried, and she mentally sends Geist and Bram the plan as well.

-<This is different. This guy has a pretty interesting gift, and he's being weird about it when he saw how we reacted. e's not used to people finding it odd. Which means he either has connections to something that makes this normal for him, or he knows more people that can do it. Either way, I want to know."-

Lex stands up and walks over to Brie with a slightly suspicious gaze and holds out his robohand.

Brie: -tilts head-

...Or at least she attempts to, Lex pulls away his hand before she can grab it.

Lex: Don't shake, unless you mean it.

His brows furrow in seriousness

Brie: ...Huh?

Lex: Can I trust you to stay here?

Lex's Quarters

Brie: Of course I'll stay. And only partly because I still can't move past a hop.

Lex tentatively shakes on it this time.

Lex: All right!

He while still shaking Brie's hand he opens the panel on his arm makes a few taps. The weird jelly shackles turn back into liquid again and art sucked up by the Flask Robonoids - which then hop on Lex's head and shoulders like little pets.

Brie: -blinks-

I'm sure he's got something up his sleeve if he's letting us go here.

Brie: That robot is the cutest thing ever, by the way.

Lex's Quarters

Pianis: Thank you.

Siren: ~So now we formulate our escape plan?~

Pianis: It'd be a bad idea if we betrayed this guy's trust, I think. He still effectively has us at gunpoint.

Siren: ~Oh, fine.~

Lex picks one of the robots off from his shoulder with his mecha hand and begins to pet it.

Lex: My machines and robots are like my babies~

Lex: I would like too, but there are far too many of them for that.

Pianis: What happened to your arm, if I may ask?
