Max had decided to head for some place with plenty of open space, so he could let all six of his pokemon get some fresh air. His Steelix was curled in a half circle to sleep, his feraligatr was sunbathing on the lake shore, while his crobat and gengar were off exploring/playing tricks on people, while his galvantula and espeon played tag.

Lex begins walking towards the Generator, tossing the screwdriver in his fleshy left hand.
Lex: Now the original plans for these machines were packed with all sorts of gears and grinders to run. However, being from a more advanced place in time - I can make a few swaps here and there for a more efficient, safe and less volatile experience while extracting Infinite Energy.
A good thing too. From the records, these things ran through limbs and lives as much as Mauville Co ran through scandals and lawsuits - to the point where uneducated roustabouts were repairing and fixing these complex machines out of necessity. Though, humans do produce small amounts of Infinite Energy so I guess waste not - want not...
Lex reaches over and unlatches one of the panels to work on the innards of the machine, but as he takes a step backwards his heel crushes a shard of glass.
Lex: Guh?
He takes a glance to the ground, noticing the shattered shards scattered around.
He glances up at the broken window above, the midday sun filtering down no longer blocked by the tinted glass.
Lex: ...
...
...
Of course. Why not?
He opens a panel on his arm.
Lex: Run a full room scan, report any unregistered or unidentified objects or persons. If you find anyone, I dunno... get them a coffee, pull out the couch and set up the Smart TV for them or something?

<Ruby tell Max the jiggler from earlier is here. And challenging us or something.> The espeon stops, lallowing her side the be tapped by the galvantula who had been chasing her.
<I don't think that will make much sense to him. But fine.> She turns to Maximillion, her forehead gem glowing. <Max, Lockjaw says you're being challenged by something jiggly.>
"... What?" Max tilts his head at the psychic messagek turning to look over at Lockjaw.

The wall panels glow blue as some sort of scanning grid materializes and rotates down the hall covering everything with a pale blue light in it's path.
As it passes by the intruders, their silhouettes become yellow figures on the walls. Complete with rather ominous beeping noise.

Thew purple figure was revealed to be a Gengar, laughing uproariously and floating all around Max's head.
"Ugh, yes, this is Geist, one of my Pokemon. He likes tricking people. Don't mind him." He lightly bonks the ghost on top of the head. "Well, since you've met one, I may as well introduce you to the whole crew."

Shade is now feeling much better, he is walking around looking for another place to put his secret base, and in general is just wandering around the shops, window shopping of course. If he is seen, he would be happy to do a meet and greet.
