-Tori taps the 'quil gently on the snout to get her attention away from Ghostus-
Tori: "Be nice, Puff"
-To Gogie- "Yeah, starters a little trickier to breed than some pokemon. But if Mom and Dad don't breed them personally they can usually get in contact with someone... I could probably ask them about a Cyndaquil egg if you wanted"

-Ghostus is about to say something to Puff, but then he hears Tori's suggestion and blinks-
Gogie: "Oh, uh, thanks for the offer, but I've
got a Quilava I... work enough
with that I'm not sure how that would go."
-After a bit, his expression shifts to one that's more of consideration-

-The girl pauses, but decides to probe a little more after seeing the look on Gogie's face-
"Well, if it's fire starters you like, Torchic are popular around here, or there's always Tepig. Fennikin and Growlith are kind of nice if you like fluffy fire-types... Or if you just like the way Puff looks there's always Pancham or Sandshrew or something"
{Come to think of it, is Sinbad still napping in his ball? He doesn't usually sleep in late...}

Tori: "Alright, fighting types are out. Let's see... Eevee are always interesting, though picking an evolution can be tricky. Poochyena, well you see a lot of those without breeders, but there's still something about raising one from an egg. Lilpup are pretty nice, and Houndour too if you don't mind it being a little boney..."

-Ghostus would make a snide comment about breeders probably needing to know about a lot of Pokemon at Puff, but is a bit too unsure what to say at the current line of conversation to do so-
-Gogie tries to not have a visible reaction to the statement about Poochyena or raising them from an egg-
Gogie: "...All of those but Lillipup are in
a situation like Cyndaquil's."
"Hm..."
"Before I pick one, do you mind
thinking of some more Fire-types?"

-Tori apparently doesn't notice the reaction to the innocent Poochyena comment-
Tori: "Ah, thinking of a specific type then. Well... There's Litleo, Pansear, Vulpix, Numel, and if you don't mind your pokemon actually being on fire most of the time there's always Charmander, Ponyta or Slugma."

Tori: "I haven't worked with Litleo much, but I met a few in Kalos. Their fur is nice and warm though, and Pyroar are pretty impressive."
"Charmander are a classic, they learn some pretty good moves and are nice and strong. Plus Charazard can fly, so that's handy. Hard to go wrong with either of them"

-Fletcha was just starting to head back from training with his Mons because a large thunderstorm had rolled in, when Brandon notices a Skarmory that looks to have crash-landed-
-He goes over to investigate-
Skarmory: <...I should know better than to be flying in this type of weather.>
Brandon: <Hi there, are you ok?>
Skarmory: -wincing- <I should be fine, I just need to catch my breath>
-The Skarmory is clearly worse for wear than just needing to catch it's breath-
-Fletcha and George noticed that Brandon has wandered off and have now caught up to him-
Fletcha: "Uhh are you alright?"
George: <Hah, looks like quite a landing you had there>
-Upon noticing Fletcha, the Skarmory turns to Brandon and George-
Skarmory: <Can you communicate to your trainer that I'm not in the best mood/position to be captured at the moment?>
George: <Heh, why don't you just do it yourself>
Fletcha: -chuckling slightly- "Knock it off George... what he's trying to say is that I'm able to understand you."
"And yeah, of course I won't catch you right now, that wouldn't be fair."
-thinks- Though I have been wanting to catch a Skarmory soon...
Skarmory: -would be raising an eyebrow right now if it had one- <Huh, so you can understand Monese. That's...unusual.>
Brandon: <I know, isn't it great!>
Fletcha: -to the Skarmory- "Yeah...long story..."
"You do look pretty banged up though, would you like me to take you to the Fortree Pokemon Center?"
Skarmory: <Wouldn't that require me to be transported by Pokeball?>

Brandon: <Oh, Fletcha would never do something like that!>
George: <Brandon's right, this Kid wouldn't hurt a flygon>
Fletcha: -to his Mons- "Thanks for the sentiments," -turns back to the Skarmory- "but you are right, you don't know me and it's perfectly reasonable for you to be concerned about that possible outcome..."
"But the only other option I can think of is just me trying to patch you up with potions, which definitely wouldn't be as good as treatment at a Pokemon Center."
"Whichever you think, I won't be offended in the slightest if you don't decide to come to the Pokemon Center." -he smiles-
-The Skarmory spends some time thinking before coming to a decision-
Skarmory: <Alright, you can take me to the center, but if you try any funny business I'll be more than mad next time I see you.>
George: <Wise choice.>
Brandon: <I hope you are able to recover quickly.> -he smiles-
Fletcha: "Ok, this will just take a second..."
-Fletcha takes out a heal ball and the Skarmory gets captured without resistance-
-He then recalls Brandon and George and jogs to the Fortree Pokemon Center-

"Your Jolteon gave me a lovely hug, and then decided to to see whether my ear tasted like bacon. I'm kinda curious myself."Shade carries the Jolteon back to his trainer.
