(The vague outline of another being fades into existence behind Julia. The overall shape is that of a tall, monstrously obese human, but it looks more like a three-dimensional patch of glowing light than a solid entity, complete with strange flickers of lightning around the edges.)

Julia: I'd like you to meet my honorary brother and partner in crime Mandelbrot! He's here to ensure none of us get up to any... well, we call it funny business in my profession. There's a disturbing number of people foolish enough to try and pull the wool over our eyes... never turns out well for them, mmmh?

(Her off-putting Un-Smile has remained rigidly in place since the conversation began.)
