Forte: Oh yeah, well a few months ago there was this weird thing that turned Tangent and me into girls.

Honchcrow:-to Tangent- "Oh, nice to meet you. I would introduce my Pokemon but, well, Sundancer's the only one here and she's not anywhere nearby."

-to Forte- "Oh? That was when most of the rest of the Phone People were in Kalos, right? What happened?"

-Fletcha gets up quickly, then feels quite embarrassed starts apologizing rapidly-

Fletcha: I am so sorry! I'm fine, I um uhh need to watch where I'm going more..once again I'm really sorry!

"It's not a big deal, Strom's taken bigger hits than that. You didn't break your phone or anything...?" -Tori trails off as she searches for a name for the stranger-

Forte: Before they left us behind, yeah. It was this weird tentacle thing. Think it was called Noir or something.

Laverre

Honchcrow: "Oh, her? She's silly. I think she's the reason I'm a Honchkrow right now, actually."

"Well, indirectly and thanks to some other factors, but yeah."

-Fletcha brushes himself off and puts his phone in his pocket-

Fletcha: "Uhh no my phone's fine, I've dropped it farther before anywys..."

-beat-

"My name's Fletcha, nice to uhh, meet you."

-Fletcha gives Tori an awkward smile before giving one more quick "sorry" to Strom-

Laverre City

Tangerine: Oh, uh, yeah, Fuego. Something I should have probably told you sooner...

Fuego: <You and Forte are normally boys but got turned into girls by a dream-squid a few days before Sol gave me to you, then you decided to keep it a secret as part of a Zany Scheme to teach me a lesson about respecting women?>

Tangerine: -blinks- Um... well. uh... yes! Pretty much. Er. When-

Fuego: <Ha! I'm good at puttin' puzzles together!>

Tangerine: But... how did you work out those little details...

Fuego: <Oh, once I a-figured it out, I tricked Cephas into spillin' the beans!>

Hawlucha!Rufus: <Ha! You should have seen the look on his face when he swore Fuego to secrecy! I never knew a rock could blush that much!>

Tangerine: ... -blinks continuously-

Fuego: -trying to reboot Tangent by poking her- <...I mean, I- uh... guess the lesson worked?>

Tangerine: Good... puzzle solving? @_@

Hawlucha!Rufus: <You should play with the birds sometime!>

"Oh, good! I'm Tori, or Victoria Thorne if you want to get all technical."

-She gives a little smile-

"Normally this is the part where I try to work in a little spiel about my Dad's daycare, but I'm a little out of practice"

<... Eh, I suppose it was an accident> -The Floatzel says with a shrug-

Forte: Um, yeah, that. I guess we could change back now. I mean, I don't really mind being a girl that much though.

Fletcha: "Well you can still say it if you want to, listening to it is the least I could do after I tripped over your Floatzel."

-thinks-

"Though I don't currently need any breeding services..."

-shrugs-

"Well they do more than just breeding you know. There's also just keeping an eye on your pokemon while you're on vacation, or to give them a little pampering so your pokemon can have a little vacation of their own, or helping to raise and train young pokemon..."

-The blond pauses- "Well, really I think it's better if you keep young pokemon with you while they grow up. But some of the extra competitive trainers do that do it anyway now and then"

<Tori, he said he didn't need a daycare right now...>

"Huh?" -She glances at the mon before turning back to Fletcha- "Oh, I guess I did it again after all"

Fletcha: "Yeah, I guess you did give me your spheal spiel after all."

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm a new trainer who literally only has 2 Pokemon, so yeah."

"Guess I haven't quite kicked the habit" -Tori said with a little smile-

"So you're just starting out? That's cool! Are you from here in Hoenn? Or did you travel from somewhere else?"

Fletcha: "Well I did say you could say it to me..."

-beat-

"Anyways, yes I am from Hoenn, Oldale town to be exact, just down the road. I was training around there for about a week or so before making my way to Petalburg."

"How about you, where are you from?"

Tori: "I'm from here too, route 117 specifically. Though I've been traveling around for a few months now, but it's still home for me"

Fletcha: "Ahh, cool."

-Fletcha thinks and looks slightly upward-

"Route 117, Route 117... You don't happen to be from the daycare on Route 117, do you?"

Petalburg

"That's the one!" Tori said with a smile "Born and raised and all that, even hatched my first pokemon there"

-She ruffled the fur on Strom's head as she spoke-

Fletcha: "Wow, that must be really fun! If I'm not mistaken your daycare is the largest in Hoenn, or at least the only one I've heard of."

-Fletcha says all this with genuine excitement-

"It helps it's been in the family for a while" The blond said with a grin "But I've always thought it was a pretty cool place to grow up, you never know what kind of pokemon you'll run into!"

-Fletcha looks around, then looks at his watch (yes he has a watch)-

"It's getting pretty late... Well it was nice meeting you, even if it wasn't in the most ideal initial circumstances."

-Fletcha rubs the back of his neck awkwardly-

<I don't get that cranky...> -The Floatzel muttered-

"So, good night then! Maybe we'll run into each other later if you're staying in town" -She said before starting to head for her room-

-Fletcha gives a slight chuckle-

Fletcha: "Yeah, maybe we will... Good night."

-He gives a small wave before heading off to his own room-

Honchcrow: "Oh, huh."

"Sorry for breaking that earlier than you planned, but sounds like it all worked out."

Shoal Cave Lab

-Choice is sitting at his usual spot at the center table, drinking green tea. Effigy is covered with a blanket and lying on a small and somewhat uncomfortable-looking couch in a corner of the room.-

Anima: ...Those backup generators are still going to be troublesome.

-Choice looks up and nods.-

Anima: Everything we've come up with to deal with them is completely impractical... get it? Here's hoping Dane's people can come up with something less costly than those last blueprints he showed us...

Lavaridge Town Pokémon Center

-Savannah's been woken up early by her recurring nightmare. She tries to fall asleep again, but ultimately just gets up, gets a glass of water, and changes into her clothes. She leaves her room, where she finds Gui in the hall.-

Gui: Oh, hey, Savvy!

Savannah: H-hi, Gui.

Gui: You're up early today! Something special going on?

Savannah: I-I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd challenge the G-Gym here. I've been i-in Lavaridge for a long time and s-still haven't done that.

-Gui's eyes light up.-

Gui: Marvelous, that's just fantastic! Can I watch?

Savannah: E-er...

Gui: Promise I won't be distracting!

Savannah: Ah...

Gui: Please?

Savannah: Eh...

Gui: Pleeeeease?

-Savannah shrinks herself down.-

Savannah: S-sure.

-Gui jumps up.-

Gui: Yay! C'mon, let's go, let's go!

-She grabs Savannah's arm and starts running toward the Gym.-

Lavaridge Town Pokémon Center - Zeal's Room

-Zeal is semi-conscious. He notices Gui is gone.-

Zeal: She was just getting upset with me for running off, too...

-He yawns and falls back asleep.-
