-Blitz is looking over his girlfriend's shoulder, his own laptop open nearby-

"Find anything interesting today?"

Slateport

"I'm getting a lot of reports on thefts here but not a single lead. I wonder if that's all the work of the same thief from yesterday." said Sakura

Slateport

"I guess someone has been really busy. What sort of stuff was taken this time?"

-Blitz scratches the back of his head-

"If it's the same culprit maybe we can figure out a pattern or something..."

Slateport

"Clothes, accessories, jewelry, not even candy stores are safe. I don't think there's any pattern here, Sherlock."

Slateport

"Worth a shot, guess I should leave the detective stuff to Crobatman anyway."

-Blitz shrugs-

"Never heard of someone seriously stealing from a candy store before, weird"

Slateport

"This whole thing is just weird. How is someone stealing all that without leaving a single hint of evidence?"

Slateport

"Invisible ghost thieves?" -Blitz joked-

Slateport

"Why would someone who's invisible need clothes? That sounds conter-productive." said Sakura, giggling "Maybe we're just dealing with another ninja."

Slateport

"What if they are only invisible part of the time?" -Blitz said with a grin- "Maybe, hope not. Don't need people giving us ninjas a bad rep."

Slateport

"Well, we'll need to look deeper into that. Though the lack of leads makes it very hard to tell where to look..."

Slateport

"That's the point of not leaving clues behind."

-Blitz thinks for a few moments before sighing-

"Well, I guess trying to get more information on non-heroic ninjas is better than waiting around..."

Sakura scratches her head "I guess... I'm not feeling very confident about it though."

Zephyr: <You sure you're ready for this?>

-The airborne Latias looks at her passengers, who are neither Eskay nor Lucius, but rather a pair of bird girls.-

Diane: Hell yeah, I'm ready!

Skye: I really wish you'd be more careful...

Diane: Relaaaaax. It'll be fine.

-Zephyr grins-

Zephyr: <What she said. Have fun, you two!>

-Skye blinks-

Skye: "You two—"

-And Zephyr pulls on her own armband, leaving all three of them in freefall.-

Skye: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!

Slateport — Moments Later

-A satisfied Zephyr, a windswept Diane, and a very frazzled Skye are all in the city.-

"So far it's ninja, ghost, or wait and see what happens"

-Blitz shrugs-

"Not very good options yet"

Sakura sighs "Investigative work is frustrating when you have no way to begin."

Slateport

-Blitz pats his superhero-girlfriend on the back-

"Yeah, I know. We'll figure something out, a whole squad of Greninja patrolling the city has to see something eventually, right?"

Slateport

"The thief might not even be in the city anymore. The reports I've been getting are from all over the place."

Slateport

"Oh? Wow. That makes things more complicated..."

Slateport

"The reports seem to be from the cities surrounding Mauville though, as well as Mauville itself. Hm..."

Slateport

"Mauvile is right in the middle of Hoenn, that would make a good central location to hide out"

-He pauses-

"Oooh... And it's right next door to my house too. I hope this thief doesn't develop an interest in eggs or something."

Slateport

"How big of a daycare do you have? Do your parents breed valuable Pokémon such as, say, Torchic with Speed Boost?"

Slateport

"It's a pretty big daycare. The league handles things for basic starters, but we'll breed for unique pokemon like that sometimes..."

Slateport

"Whoever is stealing that stuff is going after all of the fancy stuff, and candy. So them targetting your daycare for rare Pokémon is very likely I think."

Slateport

"Maybe I should warn them about breeding pokemon like that for a while"

-Beat-

"Or... if we actually know somewhere this thief is likely to strike. We might be able to catch him in the act"

Slateport

"We could try to keep an eye on the daycare and see if anyone shows up. Not guaranteed, but who knows?"
