-He stops dead when he sees Rose-

Lane:-pets Dash-Nah...other than Uta being bounced waaaaay up there from one of Candlewax's attacks...

Candlewax:<And I dont think watching a store window lava lamp for half an hour counts as excitin'>

-Rose waves to Deziree as she leaves, then turns around to head her own way... only to bump into Verax.-

-She continues on her way without a second glance at Verax-

Verax: -Is knocked down and doesn't bother getting back up-

-Rose initially doesn't react, but slows down and turns around upon noticing that Verax doesn't bother getting up.-

Verax: "...." -Rocks back and then leaps to his feet and turns around-

-A Metagross, Tyranitar, and Phione are gathered in the cluttered basement-

Argentum: -Is tinkering with piles of scrap and electronics in the corner-

Discord: -After finishing the pile, tries to dust off his hands and can't reach, then he tries again, and struggles with it for a little while before giving up- <Whelp, my jobs done. Hey, Argentum?>

Discord: <Yeah, I know, nice talkin bud. Hey, I had a quick question.>

Argentum: -Turns around- <Inquiry, what is this "question", you speak of?>

Discord: <Well, it's just there's a lake only a couple dozen yards from the manor...>

Rose: Er... my name's Rose. Verax, you said? Kinda a weird name, but not the weirdest thing I've come across today.

"... You... really don't remember me, then." -He sighs then quickly tries to change the subject-

"Sorry nevermind not important SO Rose you've said my name isn't the weirdest you've heard today? What is?"

Rose: Waitwaitwait, hold up. "Remember"? You... I should know you or something?

Maria:Yeah...when I was younger it was really hard for me to talk to others...Lane was my only friend, really...

-She smiles Mareepishly.-

Verax: -Sighs- "... You... but... it doesn't matter much really any more. I thought you were dead for more than a year... Rose, no, you shouldn't remember me, maybe my face, but you would never remember who I am. The me you would have known has been gone for a long long time."

-Rose frowns slightly.-

Verax: "You don't. Not in a bad way, but... I think you'll like the new you. It's fine, you don't need to remember me. I mean, I wasn't too terribly important, just some guy you knew."

Iri Manor

-Upon entering the main hall, which has been cleaned, Phosphora and Bolter would find themselves bathed in light, the tile flooring of the main hall swept clean, two statues of Rayquaza flanking the grand staircase to the second floor, Iri regalia and picture frames lined the walls, and a chandelier above them swung silently-

-At the top of the stairs a Gardevoir looks down at them-

Regina: <Oh? Visitors?> -She leaps off the balcony and floats down to meet Phosphora and Bolter-

<Anything I can do for you? I'd introduce you to Jacob but he's not here right this moment. He should be here in a minute.>

Psyche nods. She points at the body currently holding Tangerine. <So, er... then who are you? I don't think I remember seeing you around. >

-Morgi pets Iggy, and Dash vuls at being petted.-
