Kitchen – 1:38 to Cannon Fire
The Goodra gently peeled Izzy off her skin, then set her down on the floor gently.
Goodra: <Are you alright?>
Izzy blinked as drops of slime dripped off of her, looking thoroughly disgusted.
Izzy: <I'm gonna' need so many showers.>
Meanwhile, Lake tried to move across the slime on all fours, only to slip and fall flat on his stomach with another wet splat.
Lake: <Oof!>
Grimacing in annoyance, he then had a thought. Pressing his hands on the floor, he pushed against it and slid towards the other Pokémon, stopping himself just next to them as the Goodra looked down at him curiously.
Goodra: <Alright, now really. Who are you peoplemons? Did Torque hire more Pokémon to help him conquer the world?>
Lake shook his head as he carefully stood up.
Lake: <No way! We're here to stop him from usi->
He stopped as he was nudged by Izzy hard in the hip.
<Ow!>
Izzy: <If she's on this airship, she must work for Torque! How do you know we can trust her?>
Lake: <Oooh.>
He turned his attention back to the Goodra.
<We're nobody. Nobody at all. Just passing through!>
He gave a thumbs up as some of the slime accumulated on him dripped off and hit the floor with a splat. The Goodra had already figured things out, though.
Goodra: <I know what's going on here. You're trying to stop Torque, aren't you?>
The slime dragon placed her hands on her hips and Lake and Stratus exchanged awkward looks.
Lake: <Uh...>
Stratus: <Maybe?>
Izzy just facepalmed.
Izzy: <You two are hopeless.->
Goodra: <Well then...>
The Goodra paused, hesitating, before suddenly grabbing Lake by the hand.
Lake: <Ah-!>
Goodra: <Please get me out of here! I don't want anything to do with that mad dinosaur!>
Lake: <...He's a Dinosaur?!>
Goodra: <I had no idea what I was getting into when I took this job! The ad just said “Cook needed for airship!” Not “Cook needed for airship that's going to blow people up!” I would have left before now, but...>
She stopped, shuddering in fright.
<I'm too afraid of what Torque would do if I even tried! And not only that, but I swear he wants to eat me!>
Stratus gasped loudly as Lake and Izzy looked surprised.
Lake: <He wants to eat you?>
Izzy: <Slime and all?>
The Goodra shook her head at Izzy.
Goodra: <No. See, the thing is: in my homeland of Kalos, the Goomy line is considered a delicacy if prepared properly! Even though Torque probably doesn't really care for fancy food, I have seen him eyeing me hungrily every now and then. It may only be a matter of time before hunger gets the better of him and...>
She broke off, not wanting to finish that sentence, and clasped her hands together in a begging motion.
<Please! I promise I'm not doing this to secretly help him or anything like that! I'm just a cook who got in over-her-head!>
Lake: <...Okay, hang on a second. Team! Huddle!>
Izzy and Stratus huddled around to talk quietly.
<What do you guys think? She checks out to me.>
Izzy: <That's the thing though, Lake. You're way too trusting.>
Stratus: <Izzy! You're saying that after a passionate plea like that, you think she's lying?>
The Dragonite glared at the Heliolisk, much to the latter's surprise.
Izzy: <Hey! I grew up on the streets, it sounds just like the kind of lie you'd tell somemon to let their guard down before you make off with all of their food when they're not looking!
...Not that I've ever done that. Point is in this case, she may actually be under Torque's thumb – assuming he has 'em – and she's lying so she can backstab us at the earliest opportunity! I mean, look at it: the first Pokémon we come across on the evil overlord wannabe's airship and she wants out? That doesn't seem a tad suspicious to ya'?>
Stratus: <How could you imply such a harmless, beautiful creature such as her could be trying to pull the wool over our eyes?>
Lake and Izzy stared blankly at how Stratus seemed to have developed feelings for the Goodra in question.
Lake: <...Dude. I think it's an unwritten law that you at least need to know a girl's species before you can fall in love with her.>

-She pokes her brother-
"So, sneaking off to hang out with your buddies again, hm? No wonder I couldn't find you"

Tori: "Well you can stop, I already figured your secret out. I would have thought you'd tell me about something like that though."
Blitz: "What secret? That I'm a Greninja?"
Tori: "Nooo..." -She grins triumphantly- "That you're Shingeko!"

"You accidentally take us to Fall City instead of Hoenn about the same time Shingeko starts popping up, and he keeps showing up on the news in the same towns the J-team is in"
Blitz: "Yeah... That's kinda weird. But-"
Tori: "Shingeko has a squad of Greninja following him around. And suddenly you have a bunch of Greninja friends from out of nowhere" -She gestures as Sensei- "Can't deny that, can you?"
Blitz: "Well, no... But-"
Tori: "And you're always disappearing off who knows where for who knows how long. Like that time in Pueltown! It all adds up!" -She pokes Blitz- "What do you have to say about that?"
Blitz: "Come on Tori, I'm not Shingeko!"
Plume: <Never thought I'd see a human and a mon together>

"<I just happened to land on an airplane that just happened to be making it's way to this city!>" said Teishi, cheerfully
They both blink before glancing at each other then back at him.
"<That actually sounds pretty awesome.>" said Sub-Zero.

Blitz: "Seriously! I. Am not. Shingeko. Okay? The only reason I'm even competent as a pokemon is because of these guys. But running around fighting crime? I can't do that sort of thing"
-The girl's triumphant grin quickly fades to a look of confusion-
Tori: "But..."
Blitz: "Look, I'm flattered. But there's no way I could be Shingeko, I'm not special, or awesome, or anything like him! Okay?"
Tori: "...Sorry."
-She shifts uncomfortably-
"Maybe I should just go then..."
