Feeling better, Lake nodded in agreement.

Lake: <Yeah. Let's go and show that Torq->

He stopped as he noticed that Stratus was sniffing the air.

<Dad? What's up?>

Stratus: <...Food.>

Lake: <Food?>

The Dragonite nodded as he turned his attention to one of the doors on the left wall marked “Dining Room and Kitchen.” He raised a claw and pointed to it excitedly.

Stratus: <In there!>

Impatient to get to the butt kicking, Izzy glared at the Dragonite.

Izzy: <We don't have time for a lunch break! We've gotta' stop him before->

But it was too late, the Dragonite hovered into the air and shot towards the door, which opened automatically to let him through.

Stratus: <DON'T WORRY, FOOD! STRATUS IS HERE TO SAVE YOU!>

Lake and Izzy stared after the dragon, dumbfounded.

Izzy: <...Why did we bring him along?>

Lake sighed.

Lake: <Because he's my Dad. And when he's focused, he's nearly as strong as I am. Also->

He raised a finger.

<He's the only one strong enough to fly while carrying me.>

Izzy: <Oh yeah.>

Dining Room – 1:41 to Cannon Fire

Stratus rocketed through the doors, finding himself in a rather fancy looking dining room, dominated by a huge table in the middle surrounded by chairs, with a regal throne at the far end. The room was brightly lit by large, thick windows that made up the far wall, through which could be seen a fantastic view of the Goldenrod bay.

No food, though.

Sniffing with his large nose, the dragon glanced to the right, spotting on the wall behind the far end of the table was another door that the scent was coming from.

The kitchen!

Grinning from internal ear to ear, the dragon dashed over to the doors which slid open to reveal that there was indeed a kitchen behind them.

Stratus: <HERE I->

However, when he stepped onto the kitchen floor, to his surprise, it was cold and...slimy. Also, slippery.

<COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!>

The Dragonite slid along the floor at a high speed, whirling his arms in fright as he tried desperately to balance, until...

He collided with a large metal fridge so hard that he left a Dragonite shaped indentation in the doorway. Slowly, he peeled himself backwards and off onto the floor, landing with a slimy splat.

<...Ow.>

This accident had apparently attracted some attention, as the dazed dragon suddenly heard the sound of pots and pans clanking as if being dropped in a panic.

???: <AH! I'm sooooooooo sorry! I still haven't gotten to cleaning the floors yet and- Huh?>

Stratus rubbed his head as the sound of wet footsteps came towards him. Then all of a sudden, a purple head on a long neck came into view looking down on him.

He was surprised. This was a Pokémon, in his many travels, that Stratus had never encountered before. It's body was an almost purply-pink with a purple belly, broken up by the occasional large green spot. It's tail was thick with a curl at the very end. Two legs with large his – very similar to his own - sat on each side of it's body, with a pair of even lengthened arms sitting not far above them.

At a top of a lengthy neck sat it's round head, which was home two green eyes that stared down at him, two four antenna of sorts – two tiny nubs in front, with another two large ones that grew backwards a fair length, almost like a human with pig-tails.

Domesticated Goodra: <You're not one of Torque's lackeys. Who are you? Where did you come from?>

Stratus: <...Uh...>

Sitting up from his slimy puddle on the floor, Stratus rubbed his chin trying to think of a good answer. He wasn't sure where this Pokémon's affiliations lied...or even what sort of Pokémon she was altogether, so he needed to come up with something convincing.

But...for some strange reason, he was lost staring at this strange Pokémon. He felt positively enamoured by the purple creature. The way her body seemed to jiggle as she moved, those long curly things on top of her head, the droplets of slime that fell off her body occasionally.

...Okay, that last part of her wasn't so nice, but everything else made up for it.

Goodra: <...Hello? Are you still there?>

The slime dragon waved a paw in front of Stratus' face, the Dragonite having been doing nothing but staring at her in silence. Stratus blinked, the realised he was supposed to be telling her what he was doing here.

Stratus: <Food inspector!>

The Goodra blinked.

Goodra: <...Is that a thing?>

Stratus nodded vigorously as he stood up.

Stratus: <Yep, yep! I'm here to make sure your food's up to standard!>

Turning around, he pulled the dented fridge door open, peering inside to look at the contents.

<You wouldn't believe how many peoplemons these days travel around without having food up to par. I mean, look at this! All this meat but no vegetables to go with them? By Rayquaza, you don't even have any bread!>

He turned back, giving the Goodra an incredulous look.

<What kind of madmon doesn't even have bread in their kitchen?!>

Goodra: <Er...>

The Goodra quivered nervously, her whole body jiggling.

<There are only two Pokémon – aside from me – on this ship and they both have specialized diets. One is carnivorous and only eats meat, the other doesn't even eat conventional food. He eats scraps of metal ins->

Lake: <Dad, are you in here?>

The two turned to see a familiar Feraligatr enter the room and step on the slimy floor, losing his balance.

<Whoa! WhoawhoaWHOAWHOAWHOOOOOA!!!>

He ran in place for a few seconds, trying desperately to regain his footing before flipping over and landing on his front with a loud splat just as Izzy entered after him.

Izzy: <Stratus! We really don't have time for->

Once again, she stepped in the slime and slid forward...

<Thii IIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!>

...And careened head-first...

Into the Goodra.

Goodra: <Ah! I'm sorry, are you alright?>

Izzy responded, but it was muffled by the Goodra's thick stomach.

Izzy: <Mmph...>

Stratus: <She's fine. I think.>

-Blitz is sitting on a bench with his recently repaired phone-

Great, they deleted all my messages... At least my contacts are still there

-Elsewhere is Tori, who hasn't seen much of her brother recently-

-Blitz maybe be nudged that may be followed by snakehugs by a chilly Dratini.-

-One can practicly hear the facepalm and chuckles.-

-Other's are also available.-

-Blitz might be a little closer to Greninjas at than Dratinis at the moment, unless they run into Tori or someone else first. But snake hugs are likely to happen in the relatively near future-

Blitz might find Teishi and Sub-Zero bouncing on top of a red bubble shield, with Sensei looking over the whole thing

"<This is surprisingly fun!>" said Teishi, giggling

"<I wonder how high we can bounce!>" said Sub-Zero.

Blitz: -Looks up from his phone- "...What?"

-After slipping the device into his pocket Blitz walks up near Sensei to watch the shenanigans-

"Where did you guys get that?"

Goldenrod

"<I made it. Water type, remember?>" said Sensei, chuckling.

Goldenrod

Blitz: "Oh, so you got that Feraligatr to teach you?"

-bubble poke-

"Looks different, didn't recognize it at first"

-There could be a preening Flechinder in the vicinity of Jason/Lane/Maria/Mons-

"<Might be the fact that it's red.>" said Sensei, the snark pretty evident in his voice.

Teishi then bounces off the bubble and lands on the floor, Sub-Zero does the same.

"<Okay! Let's try this and see how far I'm going to go!>" said Teishi, looking pretty excited

Teishi then gets into a ready stance, then proceeds to jump very high into the sky, landing onto the bubble a few seconds after. Despite the force of the landing, it didn't pop and just deformed a lot before propelling Teishi extremely high in the sky, to the point where he was barely visible up there.

Sub-Zero blinked "<... Senpai?>" he said, worried

Sensei also blinked "<... I did not think they would try to do something like that. Maybe this wasn't the best idea.>"

-Hm...Jason then.-

Jason:Huh...a Fletchinder.

-Walks over and waves.-

Hey there, Dahlia.

Route 34

-Lane sits on a rock, watching his team spar with a slightly down look about him.-

-The actual Dahlia nudges him slightly.-

Dahlia:<Hey.>

Lane:Hm...? Oh...hey, Dahlia...

Dahlia:<Still thinking about last night?>

-Lane sighs.-

I...suppose I am...aren't I...

<Hey...don't worry about it.>

Hm?

-Dahlia nuzzles the boy slightly.-

<Despite what that Lampent says, you've still got some chance, right? Just wait until you feel you're ready, right?>

-Lane sighs and thinks a moment.-

-After this moment, he pets the Fletchinder.-

I...I will. Thanks, Dahlia...

-The bird smiles.-

<Any time, dearie. I'm rooting for you.>

"... That bubble is a sturdier than I thought"

-He takes a subconsious step back-

Plume: <Hm?>

-Not!Dahlia looks up, and swishes his tail as Jason approaches-

<Oh, you've met my sister?>

-Headtilt-

<Who're you?>

Jason:Oh...you're not Dahlia. You're sister, eh?

-He chuckles.-

I'm Jason. I'm sort of a friend of your sister's trainer. And you'd be...?

-Gestures with his hand.-

-And, as usual, something wriggles in Jason's coat.-

"<Is he going to come back down?>" asked Sub-Zero

"<I hope. I'm not sure if he's still going up or not.>" said Sensei.

Goldenrod

Blitz: "You could probably get to the top of a tower or something really fast that way if you wanted to"

-Beat-

"Think he'll be able to land on the bubble from that high...?"

Plume: <The name is Plume>

-Plume looks at Jason's coat suspiciously-

<... Should I worry that your clothes are moving?>

Goldenrod

"<I think we could manage that even without a bubble.>" said Sensei

Jason:Nice to meet ya, Plume.

-The wriggling something is revealed to be...!-

-Pop!-

Kiyo:<Hi there!>

-A coat Dratini! She looks at Plume.-

<I'm Kiyo!>

Outside the Dojo, TS

-Maria sighs again.-

It must really be affecting her...

-She uses her free hand to rummage around in her bag before pulling out a spare jacket and laying it offer Ray.-

Hope you stay warm Ray...

-She tries to scoot away.-

Café, TS

-Lane tints a little at that.-

Lane:A...And...? S-So what if they do...

Blitz: "Yeah. But that was the first high thing I could think of. Maybe better for low-flying airships or something."

I wonder how useful these bubbles really are...

Plume: <Oh! You let pokemon sleep in your coat?>

"<Dad, I'm not seeing him.>" said Sub-Zero, looking up

"<Just how far did he go?>" asked Sensei, worried.

Jason:Only her, really.

Kiyo:<Yup!>-nuzzles-<He let's me keep warm!>

Jason:-is nuzzled-And she's real affectionate too~!

-He chuckles.-

Blitz: "Should we send someone after him? I've got a Natu with teleport..."

Plume: <I see someone's affectionate>

It's possible to hear Hikari singing this as she opens the door to Sarah's room

"... Oops! Wrong room." said Hikari, apparently oblivious to the air of worry.

Jason:Yeah, she is!

-More chuckles and nuzzles.-

She's been like this ever since I caught her.

-After a few moments, Kiyo ceases her nuzzles and just smiles in a dragony-snake way.-
