-The six mechs appear on the battlefield, followed by the lumbering structure-

-Raijin turns from the hovering Kitsune toward the newly arrived challengers.-

Raijin: SEND LEGIONS! THEY WILL MAKE EXCELLENT EXAMPLES!

-Raijin thrusts an open palm at the mech that attracts his attention the most - likely the red one. Meanwhile, Sandy jumps off of her mech and runs at the shield on foot before slamming into the shield with her shoulder and, if it weren't for the metallic skeleton, would likely have dislocated his shoulder.-

-Iggy rubs her head.-

Ignia:<Um...hi Papa..>

-Lane picks up the Daru.-

Lane:Well, I'm sure sis would love to go shopping with you sometime, eh?

Wonder if I'll ever get that movie...oh well, not like my dates have been straight forward so far.

-Said random Murkrow is now right behind Float.-

Tori: "Yeah, She probably would like watching me try on clothes..."

-Tori pets the Daru-

-Float shrieks and releases a cloud of Stun Spore as she dashes behind Tori-

Dezilete: It's a ray shield! It's literally a solid wall of non-eucleic particles - nothing can break it!

Dezicurrie: And the fact that we know that means we can't do anything about it, sadly.

Dezimorgan: Arr, the fact that the cowardly swine managed to make one so powerful as to cover his whole lower section means that he's drawing a lot o' power to make it happen. Theoretically.

-Sandy is smashing her fists against the shield. She eventually hauls back and lets loose a punch strong enough to cause her metallic skin to break off, revealing normal-looking Dune underneath. Somehow.-

Dune: DAMMIT I'M NOT LETTING HER GO THROUGH THIS, TOO!

-Morgi waves to Lane and Iggy.-

-The pink mech stops and looks down at Dune punching away-

Perhaps you're all thinking too physically. What about metaphors? What does this shield represent?

-Raijin looks around, bemused.-

Raijin: COME NOW, DO NOT TELL ME YOU'RE ALREADY DONE!

-He reaches down and crushes Deziton's incapacitated mech. Deziton is squeezed out from between his fingers, before she hits the ground with a puff of dust and a distinct *thud!*-

Dune: I! *PUNCH!* DON'T! *PUNCH!* KNOW! *PUNCH!* This isn't Deziree at all! This isn't even Galvani anymore! This is something totally different!

-His knuckles ache from bruising. So instead he begins kicking it.-

Okay, but there's gotta be something we're missing. I mean it really can't just be that what we see is what we get...

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what's happening.

Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed but fighting is kinda the way to go anyway.

Well we can't just keep pounding on the shield forever!
