Marie cautiously comes in to the room, looking right at Jason."Can we talk?" She doesn't say it in the voice of someone asking a request, it was in the voice of someone who was giving a demand.

Jason's Room, River bed

-Jason blinks.-

What did I do, what did I do?

Jason:Sure! Um...yeah, come in.

-He takes a seat.-

So...what's up?

River Bed

Marie sits down, legs crossed, and leans forward, staring into Jason's eyes."What are your intentions towards Ray, Maxwell? What do you feel towards my girlfriend?"

Jason's Room

-Jason sweatdrops.-

How did I know...

Jason:That's what this is about? Hah...alright, I think she's cute, sweet, kind...all around an amazing girl with a good heart.

-His face softens.-

But I'll have you know that I'm happily in a relationship of my own with Bel. While I'm glad she comes to me for comfort when she needs it...and, well, she's cuddly, but I see her as a good friend.

River Bed

Marie's face softened a bit. Certainly seems genuine... "She is isn't she? She's a ray of sunshine, truly.."but the thing about the sun is that..it can burn..

"You and Bel are good together, try and stay with each other, huh?"

-Jason sighs slightly.-

You know...I hope I can be with Bel for as long as possible. I love her. I hope you can understand that.

Tch...never pegged her as much for spite...I have problems with that already...

However...if Ray's the one asking me for help...

-His eyes flash blue for a moment...remembering his empathy.-

I'm not going to simply turn her away...I'm her friend.

Somewhere Nearby

A pair of footsteps is heard running. Panting, heavy breath.

A thief of the night- the Crimson Rogue- runs through the sunlight. Something is pursuing him, but nobody else is nearby.

Splatters of blood decorate his uniform, dying things a deeper red than usual.

Even if a time machine was invented, and man discovered how to live forever, not a single thing would become more convenient.

River Bed

"Yes, of course! Of course you should.." Marie sighed and put her face in her hands.."Arceus, what is wrong with me? I'm acting like a jerk, honestly. I'm sorry, I shouldn't be coming down on you like this, it's just..I've seen Ray hurt, before, and I've seen it many times. I really don't wanna see her hurt again."

She looked up at Jason, pleadingly."I'm sorry. I'm just being protective..."Even if I can't bear to be close to her, at least I can keep her safe from afar, right?"

Jason's Room

-Jason sighs.-

Jason:Don't be sorry...I know the feeling all too well. I don't wanna see you two get hurt, y'know.

Tori's Room

Right...be brave Lane...just get it over with and then you can ask her out alone later...no more Elroy to mess this up.

-Knock knock.-

Tori's Room

-After a bit, Tori pops the door open-

Tori: "Hey Lane, what's up?"

Aqua Resort

-Blitz is wandering around the town, doing nothing in particular note-

-Lane shifts a little.-

Lane:Hey, Tori. So...there's been a slight change in plans...Locke's coming along on the date...so I guess it really isn't a "date" anymore...

-Head shake.-

Anyway...I was thinking...we could go find him...and go, well...do that...

Gah, he ruined it! Dammit, Elroy!

River Bed

Marie chuckled a bit, letting out a stressful breath."Well of course you don't, you're too sweet, bro." She patted him on the shoulder."Thanks. Wanna go get a pizza or something?"

Tori's Room

Locke might be near outside, if needed.

Tori's Room

Tori: "Oh, really? Well, I guess movies are more fun with more people."

-She smiles-

"Just a moment"

-Tori disappears into her room for a few moments, Lane might over hear snippets of conversation between her and the pokemon, before she comes out with a cheery, snuggly Cyndaquil in her arms-

"Okay, where are we meeting him?"

Tori's Room

-Ignia is here too, Dahlia is on Lane's shoulder. She looks less cheery at the Lock prospect. The sight of Tori carrying the fire mon peps Lane up slightly. Speaking of...-

Tch...already...

Lane:Looks like he found us. Oi, Locke!

-He tries to look cheery.-

Just remember, after this...just ask her out on her own. Then again...

-He gives a small smirk.-

I could always simply one-up him...

Jason:Sure. You got a place in mind?

Marie sniffles a bit, still smiling."Yeah, Old Man Dan's over on the next street, it's next to the movies. C'mon, let's hustle."

Locke waved, grinning a little, unaware of any tension he may have caused."Hey guys! How's it going?"

Outside Tori's Room

-Locke may be quickly pecked by a Fletchling...however Dahlia look like the most innocent thing.-

Lane:Oh, we we're just thinking we could go catch that movie. You fine with that? I mean, you're coming along, aren't ya?

-Iggy puts on a fake smile. Don't piss off a Darumaka. It won't end well.-

Lane:Hm...I heard there are some good romance movies out right now. What about one of those.

Some minutes later, Marie is sitting in front of Jason, menu in front of her. There is a window in front of the pair, leading into the cinemas lobby.

"Oh, I hear [(500)Days of Summer] is out in the cinemas right now! That might be good!"

River Bed

Tori: "Haven't heard of that one, but I'm willing to give it a try."

-The Cyndaquil squirms excitedly, and Tori puts her on the ground where Puff runs excitedly around the humans-

-One can assume they head to the Cinema, thought Tori doesn't know where it is-

Old Man Dan's

Jason:So, what looks good?

-He takes a glance out the window.-

Hm? Lane...Locke...Tori?

Waterfront Cinima

Lane:Right, three tickets for [500 Days]!

-Lane pays for the three tickets.-

Hey, no worries. I'll pay for everything today.

-Iggy distracts herself by patting Puff.-

Locke comes back from the main ticket seller, holding big tubs of popcorn, drinks, and some chocolate bars in a tray. He grinned at the other two."I got snacks."

"Well I dunno about you, but I'm digging this Meat Lovers combo...wait.." she moved forward a bit, squinting, "What the hell are they doing?"

-Puff is patted-

Puff: <Hi there, are you going to watch the movie too? Is that fun?>

Tori: "Okay, guess we'd better go find our seats... Do you need any help Locke? That looks like a lot of snacks"

Lane:I said I would pay for everything. How much did it cost, I'll pay you back. I'll carry some too.

Ignia:<Yup! I'm with Papa, today. But I thought it would just be with Ms. Tori...>

Jason:I...I'm not sure. Looks like a date.
