-she puts the violin beneath her chin and begins to play-

-Letter forms a crossbow out of obscura, loads himself into it, and fires himself at the Scraggy-

Eskay!Mezzo: So is this thing a Mega Stone or whatever it's called?

Psyche smiles at the girl. "She looks sweet~"

Diane: Close, but no. It's a Key Stone, the "trigger" for Mega Evolution. It's the part the Trainer uses, while Mega Stones are the ones the evolving mons hold.

Mezzo!Eskay: So I have to be lucky enough to find a second stone for one of my Pokemon. Still, this is awesome.

Diane: Yeah. I'd keep this, but I have absolutely no way of using it. So you get it.

Shalour City

Eskay!Mezzo: Okay, so first you have to find a Key Stone for yourself, and then a Mega Stone for the mon you want to evolve? Did I get that right?

Felis: <No, it just means you're bad at listening.>

Shalour City

Mezzo!Eskay: -nods- Yeah, that's it.

Diane: So! I guess I'll give this to Mezzo instead, since she's currently in Eskay's body. For when you swap back, you know?

-She hands Eskay!Mezzo the Key Stone-

Kyrie's Thoughts

-the scene shifts to Kyrie as an eleven year old. She is playing a beautiful piece of her own composition to a crowd in her school for a talent show. Once she is completed, the crowd roars-

-now she is fifteen. She is walking through Nimbasa for the All-Unova Music Festival. She sees a person, sitting alone in an alley, a styrofoam cup in his hand-

-she twitches. She clutches the side of her head. She grins-

-she picks up a shard of glass by the side of the alley-

-the Scraggy is hit-

-he retaliates with a Payback-

Eskay!Mezzo: Well, thanks.

-Eskay!Mezzo takes the stone-

Eskay!Mezzo: And you don't have any idea how we could change back, do you?

Kyrie's thoughts.

Psyche blinks. "Well, that was a sudden change of tone. Nothing worst than I've done, though..."

Diane: Have you tried kissing each other?

-Mezzo!Eskay goes slightly red-

-now in Phenac, she buys a small apartment. She goes to a small sports store and buys a baseball bat. She grins, and bounds out of the shop with a spring in her step-

-as she does her deed, a man in red and black watches-

-the Payback hits, reducing him to low health, and he skitters around the arena, flying back at the Scraggy with another Aerial Ace-

Psyche blinks. "Ok, senseless and premeditated violent murder is a bit worse than I've done. Though, Torture isn't something I'm unfamiliar with, so I dunno..."

Kyrie's Thoughts

-Kyrie, wearing her Cipher outfit, is standing over a soon-to-be body. She cackles before slamming her bat down on his legs. As he screams, she takes a bottle from his fridge and downs it, and shatters it on a wall. Grasping the neck, she grabs the man's wrist, positions the bottle under a fingernail, and pushes-

-the Scraggy is hit-

-he uses Payback again-

Letter: <Waugh!>

Ever: ... -sends out Cuseinga- Thunderbolt, Cuseinga.

Cuseinga: <Woohoo!>

-Cuseinga leaps onto the wall and into the air, doing a complete backflip before firing a blast of electricity down on the Scraggy-

Psyche winces. "All right, that's a bit much."

Mezzo!Eskay: Sunny, I hate to break it to you, but life isn't a fairy tale.

Diane: Hey, this is Kalos. The land of fairy tales. It might just work after all~

Mezzo!Eskay: Yeah, well, we'll just keep looking for a Manaphy or something.

Diane: -shrugs- If you say so. But at least keep it in mind~

-She starts walking away-

-Kyrie stands over Joseph, laughing like a loon. She pulls a knife, puts it in his mouth-

-she turns-

-a Zangoose jumps and claws at her face. Amidst the blood, one could see a small, oval object fly from her face-

-the Scraggy faints, and a Riolu is sent in its stead-

-Force Palm-

-Force Palmed, and oneshotted-

Ever: ...What? How did that do so much damage?

Ephemera: -creates a Helioptile, and splits it into a Rattata and Pikachu-

Ever: ...Well, that would have been nice to know earlier. Ephemera, you're up...Confusion.

Ephemera: -hops forward, gathering up a dustcloud around herself, and then blasting it outwards at the Riolu-

-the Riolu is hit-

<Yowch! I think I'll turn your intestines into a scarf! :3>

-Crunch-

Psyche's eyes widen. "I'M OUT OF HERE." She jumps back to her consciousness.
