Druddigon 1: <You and your group is supposed to infiltrate the group that attacked Virbank and take it down.>

AU, Capitol Arena

-Kirk's frown broadens for a moment, then breaks into a wide, forced grin.-

Kirk: <...Ah. Sure, we can do that! No problem. After all, we're an infiltration unit, aren't we? Infiltration is quite literally what we do. Or would do if we got any missions. But I suppose we don't have to worry about that any more, since we have one now! That's great. Now I'm going to stop talking.>

-He turns and starts to walk out of the building.-

Kirk: ...Damnit. Damnit damnit damnit damnit damnit!

-Brie has returned to wandering. Tara has perched herself on Whirlygig's head, and the Gliscor is attempting to snatch and fling the Jumpluff-

-Every is asleep next to Mezzo, though starting to wake up-

-Salamence notices Joseph, and waves a wing-

AU, Unova Route 7

The House Army has made its way here from Entree, avoiding draconic patrols by keeping off the routes. They've picked up and recruited many small resistance forces and bands of refugees on the way.

Now, the Celestial Tower is in view.

<"Hmmm. I wonder.">

<Gilt: "What?">

<"That tower. It seems like we could defend it pretty well.">

<Gilt: "What do you mean? It's such an obvious target!">

<"Well, maybe. But if we take our time before revealing our presence there, it would be perfect! It doesn't appear to have been taken by the dragons yet, and there must be a reason for that. Plus, right, if we get our engineer people working on maybe building some sorta, I dunno, anti-air system, that would cover a lot of things, like those damn airships! Plus, right, we're so close Dragonspiral Tower, which, despite its name, is no friend to the draconic empire. If we reach out to them, we could possibly secure everything from there to here! Expand resistance, you know? As far as attack by land, we can familiarize ourselves with the territory here, and be able to in and out of this tall grass without them knowing what hit them. You know, guerrilla style. Plus, we can set traps very easily in all this concealing grass. Of course, a lot of it will need to be cleared so they can't use it to sneak up on us, but that's fine. We've got this. I think we should make this our new base.">

<Gilt: "...">

<Gilt: "This all makes sense, except for one problem.">

<"Wazzat?">

<Gilt: "It all depends on whether we actually can use this as a base. Remember, the residents are not exactly friendly to outsiders.">

<"Awh, don't be so grumpy all the time, Gilt! This'll be a cinch!">

<"Alright, let's get over there and talk to 'em. Tenae, Mr. Pump, and Elder Taep, with me. Gilt, you're in charge until I get back.">

<Gilt: "Where are you going?">

<"To negotiate.">

Delta starts walking towards the tower, followed by the Golurk, Dusknoir, and Spiritomb.

AU, Approaching the Celestial Tower

<???: "Halt! Who goes there?">

The group from the House Army stops.

<"Merely a group searching for succor from the Dragons. Do you extend your hospitality? We mean you no harm.">

A Zangoose steps out of the grass.

<Officer!Zangoose: "This land is under the protection of the Celestial Tower, as a buffer against those who may disturb the graves within! You dare trespass against such sanctity?">

<"We mean no harm to the occupants of the Tower, living or dead. However, I doubt that the draconics feel the same. We are all that remains of the House on the Rock.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "What? Just you four?!">

<"No. We left the remaining forces of our ragtag army farther out, so as not to alarm you.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "What happened?">

<"The draconics happened. They bombed out the house and sent us packing. We've come here to seek a new shelter. Furthermore, I suspect that they won't avoid the Tower for long. You're going to need all the help you can get, once they turn their gaze here.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "...">

<Officer!Zangoose: "This is grave news. I will show you to our leader, so you may inform him in person.">

<Officer!Zangoose: -addressing the tall grass- "It's fine, you can stand down.">

Suddenly, a whole group of Pokemon emerge from the grass, lowering claws and de-powering moves.

Delta whistles.

<"Nice. Didn't even notice them.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "Come, then. Let's get you inside.">

He walks off towards the tower, Delta and Co. in tow.

AU, Celestial Tower

The Zangoose guides the group up the stairs, all the way to the top.

There, an old Chandelure waits.

<Officer!Zangoose: "Sir, these folk have something to say to you.">

<Hakamori: "Oh? What is it?">

<"Sir, our group is all that remains of the House on the Rock. It was bombed out by the draconics some time ago, and we are now hopeless. I also suspect that that it won't be long before their attention is brought here. We hoped to be able to live with you here, and help you prepare for that inevitable attack.">

<Hakamori: "Hmmm. This is grave news indeed.">

He thinks for a while.

<Hakamori: "Very well. You may stay. However, to be perfectly honest, we know very little of war and battle.">

<"That is no problem. We can train your people. Would you be willing to name me your General?">

<Hakamori: "...">

<Hakamori: "As long as you vow to defend the graves know matter what, then yes. You may lead our forces.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "What?!">

<Hakamori: "Hush now. There is work to be done, friend, and this young one seems like the one to do it.">

<"Very well, sir. I swear on all that I hold to be dear, and true, and holy, that I shall defend the tower, its residents, and the graves at all costs, up to and including my life itself.">

<Hakamori: "Then I name you General of the Celestial Tower.">

<"Right then. First thing's first, we need to get the rest of the House in here. Tenae, go see to it.">

<Tenae: "Yes, sir.">

The Dusknoir floats away, towards where Delta left the army.

<"Alright then. Elder Taep, if you would be so kind, work with Elder Hakamori to write a letter of greeting to Dragonspiral Tower, see if we can open up a dialogue that might lead to an alliance.">

<Elder Taep: "Very well.">

He floats over to Hakamori, and they begin talking about diplomatic language and the contents of said letter.

<"Mr. Pump, let's go down, and see what they have for engineers. I want priority given to that anti-air system.">

<Mr. Pump: "Yes, sir.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "I had my doubts at first, but you seem somewhat competent.">

<"Thank you. I'll need you to come with me, to confirm my new appointment with anyone who needs it.">

<Officer!Zangoose: "Alright.">

The Golurk, Zangoose, and Delta all walk down the stairs to go talk with the Elegyem about engineering some sort of anti-aircraft artillery system.

-Joseph hugs Salamence-

Holon City

Salamence: <Hi Joseph! How are you?>

Good! You? What've you been up to?

Holon City

Salamence: <Not much. Mostly just tackling passerby for hugs.>

I need to do that more often!

Holon City

Solace: <No you don't.>

Salamence: <Yes you do!>

Yes I do!

Florence: <No you don't.>

Yes I do!

Holon City

Solace: <No you don't! This Milotic agrees with me!> -hops onto Florence's back-

Salamence: <Yes you do!> -glomps Florence and Solace-

-Florence doesn't shake from the hug, but rolls her eyes-

<Hmmm. I didn't expect anything else.>

<I appreciate that you agree, Absol.>

-she reaches around with her tail to pat her-

Salamence: <Hmph.> -lets go-

Solace: -purrs-

-Florence tilts her head-

<You never struck me as the purring type, Absol.>

Holon City

Solace: -shrugs- <I purr sometimes.>

Florence: <Hmm. I imagine you would, now that I think of it.>

<I don't think I know your name...>

Holon City

Solace: <I am Solace. And you?>

Florence: <I am Florence.>

<I sympathize with you; most of my team's crazy as well.>
