You don't even need to bone out. If you quit out of the game it'll put you in front of the fog door.
WAIT i remember
i was full havels AND i was also two-handing the havel shield and plodded unflinchingly through
barely any knockback
And then there was silenceArmor doesn't matter if you're blocking...
it does for fashion
And then there was silenceRight, I forgot the most important aspect of the game; FASHION SOULS
PREPARE TO STYLE EDITION
Speaking of which, I like the Silver Knight Armour, but I hate the noise of heavy armour clanking...
Sauron But White
And then there was silencebecause black knight armor is Sauron but Sauron
And then there was silenceSo it's like, twice the Sauron?
Yo dawg
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.two best friends joke
And then there was silenceYeah, I remember that episode XD
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.As much as I understand that a weight limit is there to avoid balancing issues (as if Dark Souls 1 had any in the first place) it's still annoying when my aestehtic drops me to mid/fatroll and then I have to re-adjust something.
I mean. Dark Souls 1 is unbalanced as hell.
What with the stat that doesn't do anything and all.
All Resistance does is increase your poison resistance, all it does is make the poison bar longer. But there are items(certain robes like the Pyromancer set, or the Gold Hemmed Set. The Blood shield. Any Gargoyle weapon. Either Havel's shield or his club). So it isn't really worth it to level up resistance.
The thing I hated the most about the Silver Knight Armor is that bloody cape. It's such an awesome-looking piece of armor, but that cape. That awful cape. Oh sure, the Knights themselves get these magnificent flowing capes, but when we wear it, it turns into some five-year-old's ragged-looking blanky.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. If they do go ahead and make that Trilogy Pack that was rumored and update Dark Souls 1, they definitely need to fix all armour that have appropiate pieces to have cloth physics.
I'd kill for an updated version of Dark Souls, man.
Clothes physics would be fun, but just that game but running stably would be the bees knees.
Alternating between DKS and DKS2, interesting to see the differences between the two firsthand. Of course level design in the latter is a lot more simple, which isn't that annoying (The generic boss arenas kinda suck, though). I hate the hollowing mechanics of 2, but apparently effigies drop like crazy later on. The despawning was the worst but Scholar of the First Sin just fixes that completely, and I just completely ignored the Champion covenant. It's the slight changes to the feel and pace of the combat that fuck me over the hardest; the stamina regen rate's the big one. DKS 2's stamina regen is just a smidgen slower, but because I'm so used to the first one's relatively fast recovery, I end up screwing myself over just by a milisecond.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I feel like the slow recovery and some of the other mechanics are what make DS 2 really good to me.
I like the despawn, with the Champion covenant and Ascetics as options to avoid it.
I'm mixed on the slow recovery. It definitely gives a different feel that I appreciate, but I don't like how that is accompanied by large crowds.
how Scholar handled the despawning was awesome, because it pleases both traditionalists, and people who enjoy the permadeath enemies
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018I recently got back to playing Dark Souls and I was wondering, can you farm covenant items? I'm running a Miracle build and I'm having trouble finding anyone to summon to get Sunlight Medals for the next level spear so I was hoping I can just kill a lot of enemies for them instead

I don't really care for DS 2. I find it much more annoying than fun to play, and the only really inspired areas of the game are the DLC's which still have a lot of the same design problems as the main game.
My strategy for the Bed was just to break each thing, Bone out, then go back in. I think I died...once?
