So Stuff The Son Of Satan And The Daughter Of God Could Bond Over...

Okay so the protaganists of a webcomic I'm planning are the children of Yahweh and Lucifer (created because God was bored and Satan wanted to see if she could make something good) and they are pretty much all powerful, and freinds. So any thoughts on stuff that could have made the two bond other than the fact their both Reality Warper(s)? They are five or six when the story starts by the way.

God has a Daughter? Blasphemous!

It later turns out that she is a lesbian.

Is the son gay or a transexual?

Anything That Moves, although he favours girls.

Are God and the Devil married in this set-up?

No, God had the idea first, and sent an angel down to sire a child on a single woman who wanted a child but couldn't find a man he was comfortable with, and for various reasons couldn't adopt or get IVF. Satan decided to try it to and proceeded to posses a woman, sleep with the woman's husband. One month later at exactly the same time the kids were born.

Hmm, this is interesting...

Well, if they're kids at the time... I take it they're five or six when they first meet? Then, idunno. Any games they like? Or maybe some other activity that could be a starting point to get them interacting. Then after that, I guess it depends on how they get along? What are their personalities like?

He's a Large Ham, even for a little kid, has a lot of What Do You Mean, It's Not Awesome? moments, he get's bored easily but he also has a knack for finding cool (well stuff he finds cool)stuff in unexpected places. He's pretty hyperactive, easily distracted; may have ADHD.

He can be pretty self centered, but also extremely generous to people he likes. In fact the reason Josie is a bit of an outcast while Tariq is quite popular is while Josie is regarded as a bit of a goody two shoes (as well as the fact that Josie due to being sheltered from normal kids until school kinda freaked her classmates out a bit due to not knowing when the use of her power was socially acceptable) he tends to shower his peers with awesome stuuf. Like Josie he has issues with loniless, very few of his "friends" would stay with him if he didn't have his gifts. Very prideful, especially regarding his tail, also lacks any sense of modesty about his body. Considers himself and Josie to be better than anyone else, he is very bright not to child prodigy levels but smart none the less. He tends to hide his pain to an unhealthy extent, either pretending to take it in stride or lashes out at those around him. Viercly loyal, has a pretty good relationship with his siblings, especially his oldest sister. He treats Josie like his sister, one he bickers with, play fights, teases and generally be's Viltrolic Best Buds with... when he and Josie aren't acting weirdly affectionate even by hippy standards. Something to do with their enhanced emotions. Oh Tariq has a lizard tail by the way, Josie has a Cute Little Fang.

Hmmm. Well, that Josie is still willing to be friends with Tariq without the need for awesome gifts might be something. And if Tariq doesn't really care about Josie being sheltered and weird, that might be something too. Erm... ^^;

Maybe they played together as kids? If Tariq is a loud, hammy little kid, I can see it being one of those things where he kind of takes the lead in any kind of childish games or mischief when they were younger, and Josie following along because Tariq either sounds like he knows what he's talking about at the time, or because he's fun or something, and that could carry over when they're older. Tariq is still loud and hammy, but Josie is used to it. Or... erm... Brain is failing me now, sorry. ^^:

For simple subjects they could have in common... Hm. Taste in books and music could be something. Or the kinds of things they did/used to do with their reality-warping powers (I know you asked for something other than that, sorry!). Any favourite hang-outs, maybe? Thaaat's all I got right now, sorry. ^^:

I should mention that the story follows them from age five to age fiveteen, not i'n chronologically order. One arc of the comic could be when they're eleven the next when they're seven. And I imagine they are equal i'n power but ways their reality warping could be differently flavoured from each over?

How about smiteing? Everyone loves smiteing!

So odd ways the vitriolic nature of their relationship could express itself? And odd ways they could show affection when they're in their ultra affectionate mode?

Make them both Trekkies.

If they're in school, they can always trade stories about the teacher. Maybe they both torment him/her in their own ways, but their parents don't allow any fatal "accidents." If they're not in school, it could be any authority figure.

Speaking of rules, all teenagers chafe under their parents' restrictions. And people telling them who they're supposed to be and how they're supposed to behave.

Maybe he has a pet and it starts following her around. Maybe they hate churches, he for the obvious reason, she for their hypocrisy.

You have an inherently evil person trying to be good and an inherently good person living in the real world. Maybe they will meet somewhere in the middle.

Doubt they'd have much luck with getting their teacher to "disappear" he's Death. And since Tariq get's hot, uncomfortable and generally upset i'n churches where might Josie suffer those symptoms? Now funny fact about pets, Josie and Tariq were both given cats when they were around one... Which they then turned into huge, flying, firebreathing tigers.

I get the image of them both enjoying playing with the class pet, and the girl giving the boy one of her dollies, and the boy giving the girl one of his action figures...

So cute things Josie and Tariq could do with their fang and tail respectively?
