- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

I just wonder how Ben avoided being recruited for Spider-Verse unless the Resurrection was fairly recent. I know it was established Morlun was scared to go back to 616 so that denied it an Inheritor visit, but it wouldn't have stopped the Spiders recruiting as many as they could from that world.

Slott just confirmed that The Jackal in Spider-Island was Ben also
that makes even less sense. especially considering the time the jackal kidnapped spock and kaine and taunted them about how shit clones were
Actually, hold on a second.
This might go a ways to explain why we had trenchcoat Jackal in a part of Spider-Island and then suddenly had green furry Jackal for the rest.
The current Dan Slott is also the Jackal, who keeps the Dan Slott who was worth reading tied in a basement or something.

Forgive me for my lack of knowledge to due getting into comics in the 2010s but the reason we all hate this change is cause that it turns another long-dead heroic figure into an evil villain correct?

It's also obviously meant as bait, since the only people who will care about a development starring a character who has been dead for more than twenty years are also the ones who'd have an issue with said character having a jarring shock value personality change that never was hinted at all during his existence. So when they start saying that, Slott will start calling them manchildren who are butthurt about an old dusty character, and oh God it's all so telegraphied already, it's so sad, and here we go again.

Improbable Previews-Clone Conspiracy#4
This "preview" is Bleeding Cool taking the mickey out of the story, but take out the first page or so which breaks the fourth wall and this actually read like an Amazing Spider-Man comic...hell Peter and Ben with Jonah and Marla there reads exactly like the sort of banter they'd normally have.
