This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Oh cool, he gets to Venom Blast another Electro!
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)Urgh.
How many years more do you think Felicia will be evil? Before or after Slott dies/leaves the book?
Probally not until Slott leaves, whenever that may be. He made her evil, so evil is what she's gonna' stay as long as he's around.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundWhat I find odd is that she's not even making much appearances in Peter's book lately. She's used as a Big Bad in Silk and now is being subjected to Wolverine Publicity in books that quite frankly would be good or bad without her. Most people I talk to either ignore Felicia's presence in these books or hate them in spite of how good the rest of the story is.
It's possible Slott will build up to some sort of redemption for Felicia. But yeah, I think she'll probably stay gone.
As an aside, what the fuck does Slott have against female characters? He killed Silver Sable, he made Black Cat evil, he wrote MJ out, he turned Sajani into a frigging psycho working with villains, and the latest issue had another female supporting character revealed to be secretly working with the bad guys. Being a female character in Slott's Spider-Man run will not go well for you! Unless you're Anna Maria. Or Aunt May, I guess.
And it's not like this is balanced by terrible things happening to male supporting characters. Things end up going pretty well for them.
It's weird.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Don't forget his use of Cindy's pheromone powers. Thank God he didn't write her solo or I don't think I'd have given her a second chance.
I think his treatment of females has gone unnoticed cause of the way he wrote Anna Maria. He seems to feel she best represents what a Marvel character is compared to Peter's other female supporting cast members
go to 52:30 to see what I mean.
Basically, being a female Spidey character is about as enjoyabel as being a female Daredevil character.

Oh hey maybe Silver Sable is Dead No More!
She's STILL dead?
I thought it was teased that she was coming back like right after she died
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWho would win a fight between Newspaper Strip Spider-Man and Spidey Super Stories Spider-Man?
Hostess Spider-Man
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNewspaper Spider-Man did win fights early on, but Spidey Super Stories Spider-Man won fights consistently.
So I'd have to go with Spidey.
The Protomen enhanced my life.He had prosthetic legs again in Nova, though it isn't too difficult to fanwank a theory that they were a new set that he had taken wearing while his human legs regrew (again) after being blown off by Apocalypse's Gene Bomb.

I thought Silver Sable was still alive? I know she was shot in the back, but she's bulletproof, right? So then did Slott or Brevoort say that she wasn't dead, just "stunned"?
In any case, I thought Spider-Man #1 was excellent. And here's the thing with Blackheart: Miles didn't defeat him. He venom-zapped him once, which hurt Blackheart, yes, but it didn't knock Blackheart out or anything. All Blackheart did was be a whiny baby and leave, saying that he'll come back. Miles won solely because Blackheart was a baby. (And considering how easily Blackheart defeated the other Avengers, I could easily see him leaving as part of a larger plan.)

thats the same thing as defeating him. forcing him to his knees and making him retreat is another 1 shot win.
He didn't force him to his knees, though. Blackheart was still standing, he just left...because. Probably because there's something else going on that the reader isn't privy to yet.
He was on his hands and knee's right before he left. or almost except for his weird goat legs. but still he was kneeled over after bending backwords in pain. http://i2.wp.com/thefanboyseo. com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/spider-man-01-2016-spoilers-2.jpg

Yeah, he writhes in pain and then gets back up and leaves like a whiny baby (which Blackheart really is). And, again, considering how easily the other Avengers went down, I do believe that there is something else going on, too.
Considering literally everyone that sting has been used on has had the same reaction, I doubt it.
On Silver Sable: She was last seen being held down by the Rhino in a room that was filling with water. It was heavily implied she was drowned. Though, admittedly, no body was found. I do hope she comes back. I'd also like to see the return of her Wild Pack.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I think Madame Web said she was still alive at some point.
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)In May, before "Dead No More", there's another event kicking off called "Power Play" which is a massive crossover between Peter, the ANAD Avengers, and Tony (along with MJ) as they all team up to take on Regent.

So I gotta ask are the Carnage series good? I wonder cause I always liked the guy & I wonder if his series are worth reading.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
For some reason I remember really liking Clown 9.
There was that one time Spidey killed somebody by webbing up their gun and when they tried using it, it blew up in their face...and Peter shrugged it off.
And then there was the time he and MJ had to be bailed out by Morbius
