This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Does Fury ever get back after being ditched in another universe in Ultimate Power?
While I got that impression, I have at least been enjoying Ultimate X-men and Ultimate FF so far.
I liked the Ultimate Elektra and Daredevil stories as well.
My biggest problem is The Ultimates, and the second volume was faaar better than the first. Already been told that the third is awful.

Looks like Conway's trying to invoke Felicia's earlier apperances with that dialogue. Seems a bit dated but I suppose it can't be worse than what we've gotten so far.
Speaking of which a fan on CBR posted this online animated short of Peter and Felicia. What do you guys think

Nice. I dig the banter
Okay so this reading guide isn't very good. First issue of X-men that it has me read after Nick Fury got the boot opens with Nick Fury clearly not having been given the boot yet.
Like, damn.
Anyway, in the 616 universe, is the original Nick Fury still active? Considering that the Samuel L. Jackson redesign has started appearing in everything, and Marvel change the comics to match the movies, I was wondering if they ever replaced the original Fury with a 616 version of the SLJ redesign?
Regular Fury is stuck on the moon as the new Watcher, as of the end of Original Sin. He hasn't been seen since then.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Nick Fury as watcher sounds like it would work out horribly, given that he's not exactly the kind to even pretend to practice 'non-interference'.
Had to get rid of him somehow.
Nice to see criminals not immediately bow down to BC for once.
Nick Fury would make a terrible Watcher. He doesn't even have any depth perception!
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. On the plus side he can look at some of those What If universes and see where he went wrong.
I want the Regency to be that world from the What If? where Iron Man was emotionally honest with Cap during the second act of Civil War, Cap didn't sucker-punch him, and together they were able to take the Registration Act and the Avengers and build off of them, bringing the world into a shimmering golden age for superheroes everywhere.
It probably won't be, but that was the best world and I want this to be that one. That is a world where One More Day could easily have never happened.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Well, it looks like both Cap and Iron Man still exist in that region and are in their sort of classic outfits, so maybe it is.

I find it interesting how they don't reveal anything of the plot.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Between this review and the interview, they're really hammering home the feeling that Slott could be done after this.
I wouldn't be surprise. Spider-Verse is basically his Spider-Man magnum opus. It's hard to go larger than that.
If Renew Your Vows unwrites One More Day for the post-SW continuity, then it's exactly the high note to leave on. That's the mic drop. "And then One More Day wasn't a thing. BOOM. Peace out, bitches."

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I'll be honest, I'd love it if Slott left Spider-Man. He's had a good run, he did some really cool stories, but since relaunching Amazing, it's been lackluster. It feels like he's run out of steam. It's time someone else took over.
I propose Kathryn Immonen, because she's not doing anything for Marvel right now.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Ooh, I would love Kathryn Immonen. Her run on Journy Into Mystery was outstanding. And if Peter and MJ do get back together (with a kid), she would be the perfect storyteller for that.
What IDW trades?
The Protomen enhanced my life.
Interestingly, that's kind of the line people draw between the ultimate stuff that's worth a shit and the ultimate stuff that can be set on fire and kicked into a collapsing universe.
