Sonic CD is popular, of course you're not. Personally I think the U.S soundtrack is better and Wacky Workbench is one of the best stages in the entire history of Sonic, along with Stardust Speedway.

Frankly, I simply can't see how Wacky Workbench is fun. I mean, a good chunk of the flooring consists of nothing more than self-activating springs.

Sonic CD is frequently cited as one of the best games in the series, if not the best. So yeah. Your feelings are validated by the masses, or whatever.

Personally, I'm kind of "meh" to it. Too much bouncy, not enough speedy.

I HATED STARDUST SPEEDWAY. I've never been so lost in any Sonic level I have played. That said, I THINK I heard it's JP/EU theme and liked it, I'll have to check my Music Playlist sometime.

Favorite 2D: Sonic 2 with Sonic Advance in second

Favorite 3D: Sonic Adventure 2 with Sonic the Fighters in second (first WOULD be Sonic X-Treme if Sega hadn't cancelled it)

I love Sonic CD. It was like Sonic 1 on crack. If we're talkin' atmosphere and shit, it's probably my favorite Sonic, but looking purely at the gameplay I'd probably rank it below 2 and 3.
