Got this game today. It's pretty good so far.

Duuuude, Kirby Fighters is such a cool idea. I don't suppose there's an online portion?

Man, Beetle is so overpowered in this game. It's like Suplex on steroids.

Oh man why did no one tell me that Circus had the glorious return of hi-jump.

What.

They took out the ridiculous hover-Beam spin and the up-and-down Spark moves? this is the worst thing!

...oooh, but Wheel just got better.

Because Hi-Jump wasn't that missed in the new game...it was in the last one.

You know what I mean. It was missed when it didn't come back, but then it secretly did. I am ecstatic. It also helps that the rest of Circus Kirby is also pretty rad.

So you can play as Dedede in stoyr mode?

So, this second boss. This Paintra character is supposed to be Drawcia's sister, right? Makes me wonder why they didn't just go ahead and dredge up Drawcia herself as a boss.

Because Kirby bosses don't come back if they do bad things to this Kirby character.

@Xopher: Yeah. Dedede mode is this game's equivalent of EX mode.

I just destroyed 2 houses that some Waddle Dees lived in. Kirby truly is a monster.

What's with all these Waddle Dees trying to stop Kirby from saving Dedede, anyway?

Or, for that matter, the ones attacking Dedede in Return to Dreamland?

Anyone else think it's funny how Kirby now has a Smash Bros. style air dodge? First Brawl's story mode was basically a Kirby game, and now this game returns the favor.

And I sucked some up a pipe. A terrible horrible one.

Maybe it's like Mario where not every member of a race in Bowser's Koopa Troop works for him.

He's only a self-declared king, really.

Beetle Kirby is just incredibly powerful, I love it.

And Archer Kirby is reeeally useful for bosses. And a lot cooler to use than I expected.

From the sounds of things, Beetle is Suplex on steroids?

Can it grab the little stars that bosses sometimes drop when, for example, they try jumping on you?

Self declared perhaps, but he does have loyal subjects regardless.

Beetle also gives Kirby insect wings to fly with. Which can damage things. So Kirby doesn't even have to be facing bosses to damage them. Seriously, that power just shreds bosses within seconds. It's seriously OP. Spark and Fighter got nerfed. Spark lost it's lightning moves, and it doesn't charge up as fast since you can't shake the 3DS to charge it up. Drop kicking is far less effective, since it does less damage, and the bosses are a lot more mobile than in RTDL.

The music in this game is pretty sweet. I just heard the Kirby 64 Ripple star music for a mini boss rush level.

The bosses in this game are really impressive. They have a lot of attack patterns, and they've rarely used the same attack twice. They even surprised me in the boss rematches by throwing some attacks out that they didn't get a chance to use in their first battles.

What lightning moves did Spark lose? It still has all the Plasma attacks and the Spark shield, doesn't it?
