[up]agreed

I loved It(although Mini needs to get out of the closet)< her feelings for franky couldn't have been more obvious than they were

Nicks speech was great

Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probably

It's true. It was pretty clear that Mini loves Franky as of "Grace," but seriously. I felt like Liv's little "You're girl crush couldn't be any more blatant" was added in just to lampshade Mini's feelings for Franky while keeping the relevant characters oblivious.

I really hope we get to see some Mini/Franky in series 6. It seems like they're setting up Mini as a lesbian, what with her reluctance to sleep with Nick and that horribly cringe-inducing scene where they actually have sex, and now her crush on Franky. I kind of wish Skins would have a lesbian character who DOESN'T sleep with any men, although apparently there's some disagreement as to whether Naomi ever did.

I thought that one of the tennants to Mini's character was that she couldn't care in moderation. She's either massively into a person, or she isn't. Just look at the way she treated Nick: in less than a month she's delcaring undying love, and has more pictures of him on her wall than her oldest friends.

Both Liv and Nick admit that she can be full on.

I wouldn't be surprised to see her suddenly change tacks again next season switching from Franky to, say, Alo.

[up]I would be surprised, She's pretty witty and gay, and I hope they don't have her sleeping with a guy, I seriously doubt they'll go the Mini/Alo route...

I'm hoping that she never wears those gold bike shorts again

[up][up]The way I saw it, everything about Mini's relationship with Nick was intentionally exaggerated, such as talking up how strongly she felt about him and how much sex they had together, in order to convince everybody that she's straight. And not just straight, but perfect...she wanted to project an image, and Nick as her boyfriend was part of that image.

On another note, isn't it strange that Matty and Liv murdered a guy, and then nothing happened with that? I mean even if they were never arrested, or had to deal with nosy cops, you'd think it would be relevant in their relationship.

[up] he wasn't murdered he lived and yes that's my impression of mini/Nicks relationship

[down] it was briefly mentioned near the end of the episode, on the radio or something, that he was in hospital but ok

Okay, so season six starts really soon. Really, really excited.

Though, um, I do have a pretty major spoiler that I read on wikipedia. Totally reliable, I know, but it's probably worth not checking out the page for the newly added character unless you want to get something damn major let out of the box.

I guess no one's watching this? More for me!

I've loved these first two episodes. They've been really, really great. But this season's going to get really, really dark. I'm excited for that, though.

Weird episode. Weird to see Fiona Flanagan actually acting. Weird to have everything set from someone else's perspective. Total limbo effect — the boat, the funerals, the alcohol, the Alzeheimer's, — everything was channelling limbo. Effective, perhaps even good, but it gave me sea-sickness.

So when's Nick fucking Alex then? Come on with it. I need my mad man sex.

All I can say is that Grud we're getting Franky next week. She was beginning to get on my tits.
