Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
I’m back here in my humble abode…
You won’t guess what I visited.
For a “human”, he’s quite a cool visitor!
So, I was in Pho’s world for I think for one day…
How long was I gone?
Yo buddies, still tropin’?About two days. So Phos what is your world like?

You did it! Thanks to you lot using The Power of Friendship I can cause all the mischief I want!
I returned. So, I was earlier found out the term "death flag" in this dictionary. It means something definitely not good will happen to the person if they do something specific...?
that's primarily a nerd term. more specifically, if a character does something out of the blue that makes them much more symphatetic, then chances are they're going to die shortly afterwards. Fatal Family Photo is the most cliche'd example. confessing love before a huge battle is another
"flag" in this case comes from Event Flag, which is an even more niche term now that i think about it
Lovepilled and Hopemaxxing
War. The gods see glory from the heavens, but on earth, there is only carnage.
In battle, we are reborn.Well there's ways to put a stop to it! Hmm, that kinda reminds me of a line I've heard somewhere but I can't remember at the moment.
Maybe you're thinking of the guy named after the very definition Buttercup! "Listen all you fools, don't you know Carnage rules?" Rad remix!
Agreed Hellhound, even though that game Maximum Carnage was hard as hell. You can stop carnage but it'll come crawling back eventually.

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power.ahhhh. Australia!
Yes, thats a Emu carcass.
Asherah is in her heaven, all will be right with her world
[1] Well, us Gems live on an island with a school that we learn from. It’s mostly grassy, and we tend to defend ourselves from Lunarians…
You guys should’ve seen me deal with those bastards before I teleported back, it’s as if my Garand makes them explode with every shot I give them. It’s weirdly satisfying…
As much as you’re cool Morgan, you’re also very scary…
Now that I think about it, I’m sort of glad that you didn’t get discovered by the others…

Yo buddies, still tropin’?I wouldn't knock it, being cool and scary is a pretty neat combination I'd say.
As long as that scariness isn't too deep, one's good qualities shine very well!

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power. Are you sure that this stunt didn’t incentivize the Lunarians to develop more powerful weapons, Morgan? I don’t know much about them, frankly, but I’m sure they must have something that can combat an M1 Garand. Hell, in Tevyat I’ve been caught off guard at least twice by a cryo Abyss Mage.
Speaking of, your homeworld has been past… what, World War 3 and you folks still haven’t innovated beyond the M1’s design? Maybe that’s a good thing.

Well, Epsilon:
- The Lunarians seem to only fight from afar with bows, arrows and spears of a material strong enough to at least damage the Gems, but are worthless against a typical mercenary like me.
- My world is recovering after WW3, but it doesn’t mean that our technology has regressed. Maybe the fact that I blew up much of the world’s nukes (that were surprisingly unused for much of the conflict) at the end of the war may explain why. Plus, the M1 Garand is one of my personal weapons of choice, alongside my MG-42, vz.61, Lee-Enfield Rifle Mk. 4 and my Desert Eagle. Sure they’re weapons nearly or now obsolete by this time, but they’re still practical for my line of work.

Yo buddies, still tropin’?I see. Believe it or not, my world does share a few similarities to yours in that we do have a school and we’ve had to defend ourselves before.

Hey guys. Mei Hatsume again. Mina and Marnie have gotten down with some bad spring allergies, so they're taking a rest today. They still say hi, however. How is everyone's morning going? Right now I'm swimming at the beach for some relaxation.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - IrisWell I got some sleep so that’s good but I now think I’ve got allergies myself. Stupid warm dry air.
You did it! Thanks to you lot using The Power of Friendship I can cause all the mischief I want![1] I definitely believe the similarities especially after what you told us a couple days ago but I really hope it doesn't become war infested like Morgan's from what he's been saying.
Just thinking about a land like that makes me rather uneasy. [2] We're doing fine, just taking it easy on this cloudy but lovely Friday. Hope your friends start to feel better soon.

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power.Well we did have some food wars in the past but all that amounted to was lots of cleaning.
You did it! Thanks to you lot using The Power of Friendship I can cause all the mischief I want!
War is something that never should’ve existed, but still I fight.
In battle, we are reborn.[1] The thing is, maybe the Lunarians only use weapons this primitive because they never had to face off against an M1 wielder before. Judging by how you call them, they have some sort of relation to the Moon - how would you hedge your bets they have access to lunar magic?
"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt Friedrichs[1] That sounds like a typical school food fight, boy those certainly can get very messy!
Like yeah, major grossout! [2] Only if there were ways to not let a conflict get that intense.

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power.[1] If only the human world would just learn to get along but then again I suppose I wouldn’t be here if humanity was perfect. [2] That’s how it started. A simple school food fight that escalated into pets loading mashed yams and pumpkins with any type of sweet flying from the opposite direction.
You did it! Thanks to you lot using The Power of Friendship I can cause all the mischief I want!Y’all have candy cannons? I’m very happy that I wasn’t a participant.
"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt Friedrichs[1] Zowie dat sounds wathah crazy and kina yucky too! Eww! It not good idea to let such yummy goodies go to waste wike dat!
Hm-mmm, quite the shame along with the fact that there always has to be fights but it's unlikely always keep things peaceful.

Meet the Tamas!◊ I've come to retrieve my power.Yep we do unfortunately. [1] And yes I was pelted by sticky sweets because a certain someone forced me to withdrawal from my neutral state. [2] Lots of wasted food all around.
You did it! Thanks to you lot using The Power of Friendship I can cause all the mischief I want!Surely the makers of those foods would be displeased. [1] Let's face it, complete peace would be kinda boring in certain aspects.
It's easy to see what you mean Momotchi but it'd just be nice if fights didn't have to get on the extreme side of things like war.
Life does mostly rely on a balance but a positive look on won't let negativity bring those who look for hopeful ways through! aroo.
