[up][up][up]Nope. People hate Elemental Heroes because they clogged up so many booster pack sets (they were the protagonist of the anime's Deck) and were really cruddy. The hate has started to fade away due to how good the heroes used in the manga are.

[up][up]I have 35+ Decks on there, so feel free to challenge me anytime.

IF anyone needs help with Deck building, this thread has guides listed.

I hate them because they're overhyped and dominated fusions. And because I don't want to use them at all, I can't use some of the ones with more splashable effects.

I've made two decks. I'm quite surprised you could make over 35. But later on in the week I'll input them, then ask to duel in the other thread.

[up]Hmm. That's an interesting site. I like a bit more variety than they suggest, though. Makes it more fun to me.

[up]I make Decks on whims, that's why I have so many.

Also, Gem-Knights are as good as E-Heroes, perhaps even better, when it comes down to fusing. wink

I wish there were a Triplet Headed Thunder Dragon. Or something else you could do with them. Using them for mill effects doesn't feel right.

About how many cards are recommended in a deck? Is it still 40?

Hey Cru, do you think we should just use this thread, not the other one? Also, decks uploaded. I challenge you to a D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-

Yeah, let's just stick to this thread.

Yeah. Would you believe I'm disheartened because I'm feeling like it's near impossible to win without regular Synchros and Exceeds, but I don't like to do either?

You have any tips for more draw power in a water deck?

Well, some of the cards you used have Decks dedicated to them. Giga Gagagigo is mostly in Water Beatdown and Codarus has his own Deck. I recommend running 3x Moray of Greed.

Also, Life Points really don't matter in this game because all the Decks are so fast. I recommend taking out Emergency Provisions.

I was using 2 as a way to profit off of Jam breeding machine, and cards wiped by Daedalus, or other clearers. Took out Jam, and one EP. May take the other out once I've settled on how to make this faster.

Any Synchro or exceed you recommend? And is it just me, or is fusion dead?

[up]My nephew loves Fusions. And anything else that'll get him really big monsters on play. I'm the reverse, it's just too much trouble for my tastes. Though I may create a Hero Fusion deck if only because I like those characters so much.

Btw, Jean got his revenge on me for the Inferno Tempest thing by using his Exodia deck on our last gaming session. evil grin I HATE Exodia. I like TCGs because of the possibilities of gameplay; what fun is it "search five pieces and win instantly?" Bah.

For some reason, it's not reading what my default deck is, and is instead selecting a different one as default.

What if they released a booklet with deckmaster abilities for certain (read: old and busted, from before the rule of 2000 and such came into play) NORMAL monsters between levels 1 and 5. Mostly 2, 3, and 5, because they seem to have gotten shafted the most? Crawling Dragon, for example.

[up][up][up]Besides Brionac, Stardust Dragon, Scrap Dragon, T.G. Hyper Librarian, Catastor and Black Rose Dragon, nope.

As for Xyz, Lavalval Chain, Daigusto Emeral and Utopia are all solid Rank 4s.

[up]Non-Level 7+ Normal Monsters are useless, basically (Unless they can be abused). Look up Rescue Rabbit.

Also, cards like Crawling Dragon were bad even in the earliest days of the game. Even when I was a kid I wouldn't touch Tributes less than 2100 ATK with a 10 foot pole.

Which is why I chose those specifically. Not actually in the deck, but to partially justify their existence.

So the "Mind" thing I was telling Cru about on the Dueling Network: if you search cards with "Mind" in their name, several of them seem to correlate to Millenum Items, their users and/or their effects. So, in order of what I remember cast appearance as:

  • Mind Crush: Yugi's Puzzle, obviously.
  • Mind On Air: Pegasus' eye and mind/hand reading ability.
  • Mind Haxorz: Bakura's Ring's Locator ability. His powers were vaguely defined, so that itself is Hax, and made this one the biggest stretch as that's all I could go on.
  • Mind Wipe: Shadi's Key's personality reorganization and control ability.
  • Mind Trust: Shadi's Scale's balancing ability. This one was kind of hard.
  • Gather Your Mind: Ishizu's appearance and her Necklace's foresight. And her ability to be useless.
  • Rod Of The Mind's Eye/Mind Control: Marik Sebastian Ishtar III's Millenium Rod. The former for the obvious appearance and damage, the latter for the... mind control.

[down]I know, that was just for fun.

So I went up against an Exodia deck. Lots of spells and a few I'd never seen before, like One Day of Peace. Somehow I won, because he didn't draw all of his pieces the first time and I had 3 monsters out to crush him, and the second time I drew Morphing Jar (which I used to hate) and he attacked it.
I wish more people would post here.

I just had the duel of my life. My Last Warrior Lockdown deck against an opponent's Inzecter deck.

He's got an Inzecter Centipede, equipped with an Inzecter Gigaweevil, and 3 cards in his hand. One of which I knew to be Morphing Jar (from my first turn Mind Haxorz). 3 cards in his graveyard: Inzecter Damsel, Dark Hole and Heavy Storm.

The only card on my side of the field is my second Reborn Tengu, as he'd just destroyed my first. In my hand: BLS, Dark Simorgh, Tour Guide, Zombyra the Dark. 4 cards in my graveyard: Reborn Tengu, Gold Sarcophagus, Dark Tinker (used to check, then draw, Tour Guide, and what he hit with Dark Hole, alongside one of his monsters, to use its effect), and Anti-Spell Fragrance (used as a bluff on his Heavy Storm, though he also used it to get rid of an equipped Inzecter, I think).

Life Points: both of us at 6000-something. We'd each had two turns.

The following is a pair of chain summonings that was a first for either of us:

Me: My second to last turn, I get back BLS from a first turn Gold Sarcophagus. Summon Tour Guide. Use effect on another tour guide. Summon Leviair. Special summon Dark Simorgh, banishing my first Reborn Tengu and Dark Tinker. Detach a Tour Guide from Leviair. Bring back Dark Tinker. Syncro Tinker with Tengu for Brionac. Since second Tengu leaves field, Summon Third Tengu. Since Tinker leaves field, check top card of deck. Thunder Dragon. Put back on top, so I can use its effect to discard it and summon BLS next turn if need be.

My field: Dark Simorgh, Leviar with 1 attached, Brionac, Reborn Tengu. My hand: BLS, Zombyra.

Use Brionac on his monster, discarding Zombyra for his monster. If I'd chosen his Equip, I'd probably have won. If I'd discarded BLS for his replacement monster, I'd definitely have won.

Attack with all monsters, bringing him down to 1100. End turn. Mad I missed my opportunity to win, but still pretty confident, because he can't set, and I've got a pocket BLS. Happy that he didn't quit.

His turn.

With four cards in his hand, one of which is useless, he goes through an even lengthier chain than mine. When it's all said and done, on his field he has: 1 Anteatereatingant, 2 Gigamantis, 2 Giga-Brilliants, each detached once, therefore all of his monsters have +600 attack.

He destroys all of my monsters, and brings me down to 900 LP. Nothing else he can do; ends turn.

My turn:

Draw Thunder Dragon, just as planned. Discard it by its effect, draw two more. Now have the materials to special summon BLS.

Battle phase, two attacks from BLS, defeat his two Giga-Brilliants, for the narrow win. That's right, the card that I used Gold Sarcophagus on on the first turn won the game 3 turns later.

I'm so proud of you, young Padawan.[awesome]

Seems like a pretty wacky Inzecter Deck though. I didn't see any Hornet shenanigans.

Sadly, I've only had 5 duels there that I can truly call epic.

I don't think he used a single one. It wouldn't have won anything if he did, as he'd have ended up with less on the field.

He did wind up using a couple repeats of the low level ones. And I'm pretty sure he checked all his equips to make sure he could still do the EXCEED summons.

Go to dueling network, put in the deck, and go to the middle duel selection. Some people, like me, include "test" when we host a duel, hopefully to dissuade some of the more BS metadecks.

You could duel me (same handle) or Cru, if you want.

Sorry about double posting this but I was just in the weirdest duel ever.

This guy never laid down a monster......all he did was summon spell after spell after spell that allows card drawing to summon exodia...I got killed in one turn and never laid down a card due to going second
