.. what the Christ?
That said, why don't we separate news and entertainment. That is the key issue here, isn't it?

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.I've always thought public hangings could help shake things up.

@Pykrete: You do realize MSNBC isn't the same as NBC, right?
Except for 4/1/2011. That day lingers in my memory like...metaphor here...I should go.Are you sure about that? Uygur is a jackass, yes, but to the best of my knowledge he doesn't parrot Alex Jones or talk about the necessity of shooting people in the head.
I like how aggressive he is, it's refreshing for a liberal, although oftentimes he is quite silly.

'''YOU SEE THIS DOG I'M PETTING? THAT WAS COURAGE WOLF.Cute, isn't he?I was admittedly going by jackass quotient alone.
Groovy.
Let's face it, punditry is our contemporary version of the Colosseum, Byzantine chariot races and public hangings. Usually less bloody, too, so that must be an improvement.
You know, I just hit upon the idea on how to get rid of the annoying pundits - turn them into football rivalries instead. Of course, that does make things more violent...
