Komatsu gets more annoying by the day. Seriously "Food Luck" was such a terrible thing to exist as something that has a literal effect on items.

Komatsu needs to get cocky so that Zebra can slap him down if he isn't too busy wanking him.

But Komatsu a pretty cool guy eh, listens to ingredients and is afraid of everything.

Komatsu can hear voices of Sea Kings. Because they are his future ingredients.

It only took 24 panels from meeting Komatsu for the "Delinquent Cook" to go from antagonistic to harem member.

Komatsu has no enemies only people he hasn't converted yet.

OK, I'll be blunt: I don't give a damn about Komatsu and his Power of Love for ingredients that apparently lets him brainwash people into liking him. I read this manga to watch Toriko fight cool monsters in awesome scenery. This arc is just a drag.

Yeah pretty much. Well since the bad guys seem like they will be starting some shit soon the arc might be cut short.

It's not Komatsu's fault that the mangaka is using him to live out wishfullfilment fantasies about being admired by big burly men.

Yeah, I'm not interested in Komatsu, I want see Zaus and Setsuno duking it out.

Also waiting for the bad guys to crash the party.

Remember the part where Toriko and Coco found one of their master's courses - the one that looks like a bean?

When they open huge ass box, chefs far far far away hear the ingredient?

I can remember Komatsu (and others) hearing the bean ingredient (in the manga).

What I can't recall for certain is Komatsu hearing 7 out of 8 of their master's courses. Don't remember this bit in the manga.

If the Komatsu hearing 7 out of 8 ingredients is anime-only... dang.

No, it was in the manga too, but Komatsu's not willing to admit what happened at Fairy Tale Castle.

Well... that sure didn't take long for dude to jump on the Komatsu bandwagon. I'd hoped it'd take more than, y'know, the first chapter we see him do anything...

Right now, in the anime - Toriko and Coco knows that Komatsu heard 7 ingredients. The only ingredient left is the one at 1st Biotrope. But, break on that quest, cause they're heading to Honey Prison for an emergency.

...and I thought the last one moved fast 0_o. I don't think I blinked while reading it, but I still feel like I missed something there. Well, at least some of the people here will be happy about how fast it is moving.

Time to pull up that list again... Dang it, why didn't I put their names in it...

Man, this chapter did go by fast: Where those Bishokukai creatures at the end there?

Nah I think it's just badass wildlife becoming uncomfortably aware of badass villains approaching.

It's good that they decided to hurry things up with this arc.

Also if Komatsu doesn't lose horribly, I'll cry bullshit.

Some interesting positions/matches there... let me know if I missed anything for this first round.

My issue is that there has been way too much build-up for this arc for it to be over already. With #1 Zous being his opponent in the first round, I just don't see any "good" way for this to proceed. My best bet/hope is that Komatsu gets a narrow loss. Even that would be "too fast," but at least it stops us from shouting B.S. at him winning. The other option (of having "unexpected visitors" interrupt them) would be "too soon" for me... especially with the skipping over a couple of preliminary rounds.

When it comes to Komatsu, I think it's best to expect the ?worst?. #1 Chef Zeus becomes next harem member.

Komatsu sure does have a lot of swag to get Mr. Karate on his side.

I definitely wasn't expecting Buranchi to fall for his charms so quickly. And now, he's competing against Livebearer, who's also a harem member. They'll be competing/arguing over Komatsu (somehow).
