Nah, it doesn't look like Dedede's riding anything. As much as I could hope.
It was posted over on miiverse about a week ago but the winners of the Kirby: Planet Robobot Drawing and Screenshot challenge have been revealed.
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.Huh, we also got an explanation for why Dark Matter uses the Rainbow Sword.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who thought Air Ride was boring. Maybe there was just something I didn't get.
"No will to break."2/3 of the game was boring. City Trial was awesome.
I mean, it's one of those games that's definitely better if you have people to play it with. The AI is kinda boring in all three modes.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I put the description for the 25th Anniversary's Twitter through Google Translate and I wanted to share it:
"Kirby 25 anniversary of the Stars" is the official account. Pupupu broadcasters Waddle di report Corps, announcements and on the 25th anniversary, will deliver about peaceful everyday motherfucking of Kirby us. Please pardon because it does not have to answer to your questions and inquiries.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Kirby is sort of a motherfucker, isn't he?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Not aggressive enough...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.My sister and I play City Trial a lot and we've come to refer to the two AI as "banks" because they just slowly collect power-ups and then we make a withdrawal by wrecking them and taking all their shit.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!25th Anniversary...
I'm ready. And they're already teasing us with something.
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"Kirby 64 2? Of course, it'll never be called that, and likely won't happen, but plz?
What even is the city mode trial? The game was so bland I gave it up after about 6 hours of trying to find something to do. Also for a Kirby game the graphics aren't all that expressive for such a limited concept.
"No will to break."City Trial...is just a 3D Smash Run.
You collect power up stuff for a set timer and do different games afterwards...and the power ups usefulness is dependent on the game.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.We most certainly do not need another Dark Matter Trilogy style game.
I'm holding out for the Sakurai style.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I think it does City Trial a disservice to describe it as "3D Smash Run". Between the greater event variety, multiple pieces of music created specifically for the modenote , and better designed end challenges, City Trial had way more work put into it. That's understandable, though, considering that while Smash Run was just one of many modes in Smash Bros, City Trial was an entire third or more of Air Ride.
Not sure I'd want a 64-style game either, even if it's my first Kirby game and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. HAL has found a nice core gameplay formula for the mainline Kirby games in recent years. I'd prefer they didn't stray too far from it.
Ideally, I'd like modern Kirby gameplay combined with 64's cutscenes and characters.

You're holding out for what we pretty much already have...why?

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Being able to combine powers again like in 64 would be cool. While we got that in Squeak Squad, it was very limited in comparison and basically amounted to reskinning Sword.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'd prefer a relatively small amount of complex abilities over a huge amount of simple abilities.
That's sorta the issue- Kirby 64's system sounds good on paper but meant there could only be a handful of abilities and all of them had to be on the basic side.
That said, I've talked about how neat it'd be to have Adeline and Ribbon back as playable characters aping a revised Paint ability and Mirror, respectively.
I sure said that!It doesn't have to mean that...there's always at most 24 copy abilities per game.
Kirby 64's system just require there to be less than that and the regular abilities now only have to be slightly nerfed. Which only means anything for stuff like Sword.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I'd rather just have a nice collection, honestly. At this point we could easily get thirty abilities or more into a game with minimal basic design being called for.
I sure said that! There's a special Kirby related broadcast in Japan tomorrow.
Normally I would watch it because Eastern Australia is located in the timezone ahead of Japan but I'm going to be driving tomorrow so I'll end up missing out.
Here's hoping that it's something awesome!
I do lots of stuff. The real question is am I any good at that stuff.
I'm excited!
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"
...Air Ride 2?
I'd like another console platformer like RTDL (I have nothing against TD and PR, I just prefer console gaming to handheld gaming), but if we got an Air Ride 2 that'd be amazing.
